My daughter and I stayed here for a race. This place was exactly as described. The host was quick to respond and had thought of everything. If we are back for the race next year will book again. Cannot recommend this enough

This was a very comfortable, well-appointed space. It was quiet and very private even though it’s a high-density property. Lovely balcony. Some of the neighbors smoke sometimes but I’m not going to hold that against anyone. Host was very communicative but not intrusive. I would happily stay here again.

The neighborhood and exterior needs a little work but it was very peaceful. The interior looks nothing like the exterior! It’s was nice, clean, modern, well stocked and comfortable. You can tell that the owner really cares about the property and you having an enjoyable stay! Without hesitation I would stay there again.

This was my single most favorite booking experience through VRBO. The host Pamela was kind, helpful, and quick to respond. Her checkin process is stream-lined and easy. True Blue was in a very convenient location. But my favorite part of our stay was how clean and comfortable everything was. Fluffy towels, comfy bedding, plenty of soaps, toilet paper, trash bags, etc that many other listings will skimp on. I'm a little high strung and very anxious traveller, but I was put at ease instantly. I really cannot say enough nice things about Pamela and her True Blue apartment.

Directions to the place made it easy to find. Easy check-in with good instructions. Very clean, comfortable with great amenities. Convenient to shopping and to highway. Complex quiet and neighbors respectful. Definitely would stay again if we return to the area as long as we can continue to do stairs.

Inside the condo was a five star experience all the way. The exterior of the complex was a 3-4. Close to restaurants, shopping, and everything we needed. Pamela was a superior host. We look forward to a return visit.

Decided to stay here as we were visiting our son in Huntsville and space was a little tight, we really enjoyed staying at True Blue, we wanted to extend our stay but it was being rented out. All the amenities of home and more. Iron,Ironing board, little laundry detergent, q tips, hair dryer, paper towels, coffee, wine, spices, plastic wrap, just so many amenities that you would not get in a hotel. Pamela answered all my texts within the hour, if not sooner. We will definitely be renting again on our next visit. Thank you!

This is a very clean & nicely decorated apartment. They have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed is firm which is very important to me. Everything was in perfect shape and cleanliness.

Condo itself was great. The neighborhood looks to be a bit on the run down side. Not a spot where you want to leave valuables in your car. Cars that look broken down, buildings that appear to have never been touched since they were built. On the flip side, it was very quite. Hardly heard anything from the neighbors. Also be sure to note this is a second floor condo. Not sure if this is mentioned on the description or not. Owner was great to deal with as I had to make some changes to the reservation.

This was our first visit to Alabama, and not knowing the area we chose to rent this condo for the duration of our stay.
From the perspective of the condo itself, the place was just as advertised. The host has certainly taken great steps to include many amenities and this was a very nice touch. The condo is clean and well-appointed in terms of the decor; however, there was a very strong cigarette order coming from the bathroom, bedroom closet, and into the bedroom. This had an effect on our ability to sleep. This is no fault of the owner, just an unfortunate circumstance of renting in a condo setting.
In terms of location, this unit is conveniently located in many areas; with one note that the general upkeep of the property is lacking and the area in general seems a bit rundown. I noticed another comment made by a guest that it appeared unsafe, and I have to admit we had a similar feeling at times.
Overall, I would not discount the efforts of the owner to provide a very nice place to stay, and she is a wonderful host, I just wanted to provide an honest observation to inform all travelers so they may assess their own risk.

Beautiful place, lots of extras like Q-tips, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, snacks and even a bottle of wine. The only downsides to us were the steep 15-step stairs (we are not spring chickens!) and the furnace that was hard to regulate temperature and made a loud noise when turning on. It bothered my husband most because he is very sensitive to sounds. The pictures paint an accurate picture of the beautiful interior.

I would say this was a very nice stay for my husband and I. The only thing I would want to make others aware of is there were a couple evenings that there was a very strong cigarette smell in the bedroom. It was coming from the closet or through the vents. We were unable to locate where it was coming from. Otherwise it was all of what we needed. Highly recommend this place.

Snacks, bottled water, coffee and a bottle of wine was a nice welcome gift waiting for me in the kitchen. Checking in was easy. I liked the key pad for entry into the condo. The location was perfect for my visit. The complex and adjoining condos were quiet. The only time I heard neighbors were when they sat on their balconies talking. Pamela, the property owner, was kind and welcoming and responsponded quickly to messages I sent her. Cons: The vertical blinds on the sliding door were missing 3 of the slats and the wand so I couldn't open the blinds or push them back. Pamela was notified and said the parts were ordered but had not been received yet. The sink in the bathroom drained very slow. Starting the second day of my stay, there was a strong cigarette smoke odor coming from the closet. I was unable to use the closet the remainder of my visit, and kept the door closed with a towel stuffed in the crack under it. I notified Pamela, and she stated she would contact the HOA as there is no smoking inside all the condos on the property.
Even with the cons, it was a nice place to stay. I do hope the flaws will be fixed.

True Blue lived up to its description! Pamela, the host, is welcoming and thoughtful. Her property was perfect to stay in; cleanly, well decorated, comfortable furniture, we'll stocked kitchen and a nice assortment of goodies (including a bottle of wine) to welcome us. The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go...15-20 minutes from each town we visited on our trip.
If we come back to Huntsville again, we will definitely choose True Blue for our home away from home.

We came to Huntsville for NASA Space Camp, which was only a few minutes drive away. The location is close to Walmart, Target etc and other attractions, Top Golf, REI: Clombing gym. We did day trips out and the location to the main roads was great. The apartment is clean and full of all the necessities, and comfortable. The neighbourhood is quite and people always said hello. I would rent this again if I go back to Huntsville

While the exterior of the building shows wear, The apartment itself is even better than pictured, super quiet and well located. The property manager was very responsive. I would definitely book again if in the area!

An Enjoyable Stay
While my daughter was in Space Camp, my mom and I stayed in "True Blue". It is very clean and quiet. The people around are kind, saying "hi" to us. The location is great! Shopping, places to eat, places to visit, and places to walk are just a short drive away. I love this apartment!

Interior of condo completely updated, very warm, clean and inviting. Water pressure in shower and sink a little weak. Exterior of condo project is aged and needs updating but interior definitely nice. Parking lot and road to condo a little rough.

We travel for work and this apartment was absolutely perfect. Quiet while still being close to the hustle and bustle. Everything was perfectly clean and our host was extremely responsive. Will absolutely stay here again!
