Do not book.

When we arrived at the hotel, the shower had been repaired and we were unable to use it so we could not stay and are still awaiting a refund, over 3 weeks later. Do not book this hotel.

Would not recommend. Overpriced and not what you pay for.

Room is not what you pay for. Sea view means…. Sure if you are a giant over 6foot and jump up a bit you might see the sea over the fence. The room safe can be carried away and it said they had a generator but they didn’t. So expect to not have electricity at various times during the day. I paid the room 1 week before arrival, only to be told at checkout that I hadn’t paid yet! When I showed payment confirmation they finally agreed that I indeed paid already, Very disappointed experience. Ridiculously overpriced and not at all what you pay for. Do not recommend.

Facility of room and smell. Just old. Room felt more like someone’s spare room. Not what you paid for. disorganised, hotel tried to charge me twice for room!

Perfect location and great value, highly recommend

Perfect location for sunset cocktails and restaurants, and 1 min walk to shops and beach, staff were excellent. Great breakfast

Could provide some alternative lighting and power for when there is load shedding

Molt bona

Ens va encantar! Les vistes, esmorzar boníssim veient el mar i l’habitació molt còmoda! La zona està molt bé, caminant a 5 min de la platja.

L’únic que podria dir es que es sent una mica els cotxes del carrer, pero no hi ha cap altre soroll.

Vi åker gärna tillbaka till Camps Bay och Royal Boutique.

Väldigt bra läge och trevlig personal. Vi hade ett rymligt hörnrum med egen pool. Väldigt prisvärt. Gratis parkering utanför hotellet.

Hotellet ligger vid genomfartsvägen och en del trafik men på natten var det lugnt.

Super strand vakantie in Campsbay !

Fijn en behulpzaam personeel. Prima ontbijt. Prima kamer, met regelmatige schoonmaak. Hotel is dichtbij strand en restaurants.

Una sorpresa!

La pieza era espectacular (Creo que nos tocó la mejor). Amplia, buena vista, baño comodo... El desayuno muy rico y completo. Tenian un menú (comimos huevos) que se complementaba con un pequeño mesón con frutas, yoghurt y cereales

Très décevant, à éviter

La vue du petit déjeuner

Chambres non conforme au descriptif . Première nuit minuscule et sans terrasse. Deuxième nuit terrasse mais sans aucune vue. Nous l’avons dit au réceptionniste qui nous a répondu c’est comme ça. Soit la vue soit la terrasse…

Hotel mit super Lage und Ausblick - aber Zeit für Renovierung

Super Lage in Camps Bay, sehr schöner Ausblick, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück mit toller Auswahl an Eiergerichten und Buffet mit vielen frischen Früchten, auch Kaffee in allen Varianten wird kostenlos zubereitet, Late Check-Out war kein Problem, Zimmer und Balkon sehr geräumig

Badezimmer leider recht klein für ein Deluxe Zimmer, so gut wie keine Abstellmöglichkeiten, Zimmer und Badezimmer in die Jahre gekommen, müssten dringend renoviert werden, Zimmertür streift den Boden und lässt sich nicht gut öffnen, da sich der Boden wirft, Preis sehr hoch für diese Umstände (unser zweitteuerstes Hotel auf der gesamten Südafrika Reise, nur das Hotel in der Game Lodge war teurer, aber dort waren die zwei Ausfahrten, Frühstück und Abendessen inkludiert), Zimmer sehr hellhörig

Fantastic location walking distance to the lovely tidal pool and restaurants ; fabulous welcoming staff who are so helpful and kind . Super comfy beds too . Really nice pool if you just want to chill out

A very pleasant stay! Glad we upgraded our room.

Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Recht freundliche Mitarbeiter am Abend und beim Frühstück. Die Terrasse liegt sehr schön, wenn auch an einer stark befahrenen Straße, man ist in 5 Minuten am Strand und kann auch abends problemlos zu Fuß gehen.

Ich weiß nicht, ob wir das Pech hatten, das hinterste Zimmer ohne nennenswerten Blick nach draußen zu bekommen, aber wir hatten uns nach den Bildern im Internet wirklich mehr erwartet. Das Bad war schmutzig und sogar leicht schimmelig, der Wasserdruck aus der Dusche eine Katastrophe und auch insgesamt war das Zimmer eher schmuddelig. In der ersten Nacht ging zudem die Klimaanlage nicht und nachdem der Hausmeister schon zu Hause war, mussten wir uns mit einem Fan begnügen, den man uns immerhin gab. Insgesamt ist es recht hellhörig.

Good location and lovely breakfast

Good location, around the corner from several grocery shops and cafes in Camps Bay. Helpful staff and great breakfast options with fresh fruit. Parking was handy, as it’s right at the door of the hotel.

Room walls were really thin and we could hear any noise / chats from the room next to us and the hallway. Some guests checked in in the room next to us in the middle of the night and that led to a rough night of sleep.

Best stay in Camps Bay! Great location and breakfast

We met a lot of people during our week at the hotel and every single person was very kind and gave us a spectacular service. Breakfast was fantastic! The location is perfect with the beach, restaurants and shops at a 5min walk, but far enough that it is a relaxed vibe. Will definitely come back!

Had to wait outside ages in 32 degree heat trying to contact check in staff. Apparently bell didn’t work. No answer to phone. Not welcoming Room advertised as having a patio, but ours didn’t

Catfish Booking

We liked the view from the room and the location, but that is about it.

The staff were incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. The shower clogged and created puddles, which was so unhygienic. The breakfast was very basic, everything was overcooked. The drinks were incredibly overpriced, we paid close to R500 for 2 mini pringles, a coke and 4 mimosas- a bottle of champagne is even cheaper than this.

We had a fabulous time and were kept fit by the steep walk up to the property and the 10 flights of steps to our room -

The location was lovely,

It is in a lovely location with views from some rooms, great restaurants close by.

It was disappointing to have construction going on and no forewarning. The air conditioner was ineffective, which made sleeping hard on hot nights. Some of the staff were inexperienced.

A gem of a hotel in a superb location in Camps Bay.

The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was superb and the view over the ocean with Table Mountain to the rear was magnificent. And the location to Camps Bay was excellent. Only two minutes to the white sandy beach, the many bars and restaurants.

The only thing that was a bit of an issue was that the lift didn’t work. We arrived on Sunday and were told it would be fixed by Tuesday. It still wasn’t fixed when we left 10 days later. There we quite a lot of stairs to climb to get up to reception and to our rooms. But I guess the exercise did us good!
