The location of the property is in a great location for a visit to Volcano National Park. Room was clean and had a private bathroom.
I didn’t realize it lacked an on-site host or staff. There are other properties within the area that have staff and breakfast as part of the stay that cost just a bit more a night and I wish I picked one of those inns.
It would have been nicer to have a fan versus dehumidifier. All it did was contribute to a dry, stuffy room. Which is extra stuffy at night due to having to close the windows because of frog and cereal cat noises.

The location was perfect, 5 min from the volcano entrance. The rooms were spacious. Easy checkin and checkout that was contactless. Coffee was provided and good. Also shampoo and conditioner was provided. The dehumidifier and heater in the room were really nice to have.

Bed was comfy, facilties were good. This is an un- staffed lodge, but self check in was easy. Nice ecofriendly vibe going on. Really enjoyed our stay.
No kettle.

Great location
Frog noise at night with open windows took some getting used to. Bed pretty hard.

Our room was spacious and well-equipped. Very close to the park and and the few restaurants. Nice for walking or biking the neighborhood.
The outside grounds weren't very pretty considering we were in the gorgeous rainforest. Ugly wood surrounding tank, dirty wood on the house, ugly lattice blocking view of forest, torn up forest. Also heard people in the other room, but they went to bed early. There was no body lotion and I forgot mine.

First the location is perfect for visiting the volcano after dark. We loved room 201 for its spaciousness! It was quiet and clean. We were most grateful to have a dorm fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
We wished the bed had a soft topper, (even an inch of memory foam would have been welcome.) We would have liked some choice in pillows, as all of the pillows were very very firm. Also a power strip would have been nice for charging phones at night.

Everything, easy check-in check-out. Room nice and big and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely area by the side of the room to sit out in the morning for breakfast.
Nothing.

Very close to the volcano national park, staff are responsive through emails, easy check in process, free parking, fair price
Bed is really hard, pillows are flat, no TV, carpet doesn’t look clean

perfectly managed; contact less check-in; everything worked as expected; clean and quiet; very close to the National Park

Great location near restaurants and Volcano Natl Park. Facilities were clean.
Very basic accommodations, but they had what we needed.

location was great,
we didn't need to pay for the 2 rooms, we could have just stayed in 1 room as the room had a kind bed and a double bed. Booking.com did not give us the option to book a room for 4 people.

Excellent location in quiet neighborhood only 5-10 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. Host was very communicative and organized. Room was spacious and provided a space heater to fight the chill.
The hot water came out rust colored, so we didn't feel comfortable using it to take a bath.
