I recommend not staying here unless these issues are fixed. Especially the water problems. Maybe it is worth paying a bi

We were here for 6 nights: It was close to where you can swim the couple taking care of the home was nice.

- Between 22:00 pm and 11:00 am there is NO WATER. We were in a room and moved because there was no way to use the toilet nor shower because you couldn’t flush or anything. When there is water, it is very weak. Too hard to shower well. And when we moved we still had the same issues with the water, so we basically just got a worse room with a slightly better bed. -The bed was super uncomfortable in the first room, the second was okay. -Bad odors in the bathroom. -Second bedroom was infested with mosquitos and very dark and it smelt musty. -The AC worked the first two nights in the second room and suddenly stopped working and was making a super loud noise so we had to use a fan. -The couple very sweet and their girl was adorable but they couldn’t/sidn’t do much to help us with these problems.

The location is close to the water, and the price was good. I didn’t sleep well and felt sick from staying there.

I liked that there was a kitchen and shared space.

There was no one on site to ask for help. There was a cleaning lady until 5, but she was not able to answer my questions. There was a lot of mold in the room, and I felt sick from it after the first night. I sent a message to the owner and asked if I could switch rooms for the second night. The owner said they would get back to me by noon, and they never did. I had itchy eyes, sore throat, and cough from all the mold. It was frustrating to not have anyone on site who could help. The bed and pillows were of low quality and uncomfortable. The bed sagged in the middle. The cooking supplies were of low quality and didn’t have a large knife for cutting veggies or a pot to boil water.

- ausreichend Platz - Platz um Wäsche und nasse Handtücher aufzuhängen

- Tiere (möglicherweise Bettwanzen) im Bett - Blutspuren von Tieren auf dem Laken - der Eigentümer hat sich auch nach mehrmaligem Anfragen nicht zurückgemeldet - der geplante Aufenthalt von zwei Tagen wurde daher abrupt, nach einer Nacht, beendet - aus der Dusche kam kaum Wasser

Overall we really liked the accommodation and would recommend others! Good price for really nice stay.

Clean private room with an aircon. Quiet area but not that far from the center. Well equipped kitchen. Possibility to store luggage on the check-out date for free.

Host provided us Wi-Fi and password in advance so we can contact them in case of late check-in. Luckily we had data because the Wi-Fi didn’t exist and the password was also off. Host didn’t provide the correct information even when we asked. Luckily other tenants shared.

Pain and missery.

They had pets allowed set on the booking website. When we arrived, they told us nothing about it; the next day, they very rudely interrupted our breakfast to tell us that they wanted 1000 pesos to sanitize the entire place because of the dog. They changed this site add to no pets allowed that exact moment. To add context, the dog is tiny, and we took it outside for his necessities. What they did was only to rip us off.

Good location, clean environment

Gap around doors allowed for mosquitoes to enter all night, no bike rental available as per the description and unfortunately bad smell in bathrooms during our stay.

Agradable estancia

La ubicación, cerca del lago. Al centro se tiene que andar un poco pero el paseo es agradable. El Hostel es tranquilo y con todo lo necesario para cocinar

Las sábanas son viejas y dan la sensación de suciedad. Recomendaría al dueño hacer un cambio de sábanas y de colchones (se hunden)

Good for budget travelers

It was near the lagoon and 10-min walking distance to downtown. The staff was nice, I didnt spent to much at the hotel but it was a fair price and the A/C worked perfectly.

Great place to stay. Easy access to the lagoon of seven colours.

It was a great size room, very clean and quiet. Free drinking water available and easy access to the kitchen.

basic accomodation but good value for money!

the room was spacious, and had ac and a fan which was good in the hot temperatures. also had a terrace with places to sit which was nice. check in was easy. staff were relatively healthy and nice ladies cleaned our rooms every day. plus free filtered water

the kitchen was ok but lots of flies and not much space in the fridge, plus some of our food was taken which we were not pleased about

decent for a few days

Decent place to stay for a few days. kitchen was pretty well equipped to cook. AC worked okay to cool down the room. they also rent bicycles (or know where you can rent one) for quite cheap.

wifi was very unstable and did not reach our room. location is a bit further away from downtown. shower was fairly tiny but clean.

easy to find, comfortable room with working AC and hot water shower. friendly staff who provided us with extra things for the room. access to the kitchen and free drinking water. would definitely come again!

Superb

The room was big and clean. Good outside area with table and chairs for eating. Kitchen was fully equipped and 10 minutes walk from the centre so nice and peaceful. Laguna Bacala really is a beautiful stretch of water and well worth a trip out on. Top tip for ATM , there is a Santander ATM at Willy,s super market on the main highway opposite Ado bus stop. All the others in town were out of action.

Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss while we were there making things a bit awkward to organise.

Location was decent. The place had all facilities such as kitchen and drinking water available

The main problem was that our room was right next to the living room so there was a lot of noise and it was difficult to sleep. If we had another room instead all would be good

Exceptional

This accommodation is amazing! We would recommend it a 100%! Rosa (one from the staff team) was so friendly and helpful, the staff team cleans your room every 1-2 days, the location is great as it is very near to the lagoon. One of the owner (I think it was Roberto) is every day there as well and very welcoming! The shared kitchen is well equipped. We felt so comfortable there that we extended our stay even twice (without any problems). Again, a 100% recommendation!!!

Very good location. Drinking water including. Hot water in the shower. Good price because we were group of three. It was a little bit expensive for two people. The price was the same for 2 and 3 peoples.

This was a great location as it was out of the town centre so it was nice and quiet. It had a kitchen that had everything you needed to cook meals. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was right by the kitchen and a little noisy first thing in the morning, especially as the other guests were using it before 9am which was stated on a sign above the door.

If you’re on a budget as a couple, this hotel is perfect

If you’re on a budget as a couple, this hotel is perfect for the low price!! Has everything you need, very clean, and the women that work there are lovely and we’re happy to help with anything we needed!

The only downfall is that it’s a 20 minute walk into the centre, but that’s not a major issue
