We totally enjoyed our stay during Bridge Day at New River Gorge National Park. Our host was extremely accommodating, available, and responsive. The home was perfectly located between the park and the downtown area in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very clean inside and out, with all the needed essentials to make our stay very comfortable. We would surely come back if ever in the area again, and highly recommend this home to anyone planning a future trip to the town/national park. There was an extensive trail system that you had access to right from the house. We took many short walks into town for breakfast, dinner or just an evening stroll. The park/bridge was also within a short walk and far enough off the main highway to be very quiet and relaxing. If I could, I would surely give this home/host a SIX STAR rating.

My son and I loved this house. Quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and within walking distance of fabulous cafés and restaurants in Fayetteville. It’s just a short drive to hiking trails and water adventures.
The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the nice touches like frosted beer mugs.

Great house close to all activities in the area! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location. Walking distance to Fayetteville. A short drive to hiking and outdoors adventure. Host and neighbors were wonderful.

The house was very clean and nicely decorated in a well kept, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and utensils. Three TVs were a nice touch in the living room and two bedrooms. The back porch table and chairs were inviting although we did not have time to see them considering our day trips. The property backs onto a wooded area adding to privacy. The location is great for those interested in hiking and river sports just minutes away.

The house was perfect for us. While my husband was kayaking/rafting the Gauley (with our car), I could easily walk into town and explore.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. It felt like home! The neighborhood is nice and peaceful. We got to chat with the next door neighbor who was simply delightful. The location is perfect for walking into town or for a quick drive to the bridge, hiking trails, etc. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

House was clean and neat as a pin. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars in town. Only 1 mile from entrance to gorge. Close to many other local sites. Lots of wildlife in area, deer walking thru yards of homes. Great getaway!

We had a great stay. The house was clean, comfortable and convenient to the areas we wanted to visit.

Home was in walking distance of everything in downtown Fayetteville! Cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely have the ice cream at The Stache!!! Just a couple blocks from the house 😁

Everything was as expected. The house is small, but served our two couples well. Very clean and well appointed. Easy to find and get into. Nice covered patio in back with a big yard that gave more of a feeling of privacy than expected. We walked back and forth into town just a few blocks away. And we weren’t far from the trails we wanted to hike. We’d stay again.

This house was perfect for me and my adult son as we explored New River Gorge Natl Park. Check in and check out were both very easy. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and more -- including paper towel and toilet paper (which has been lacking in other houses lately). It's super close to the downtown area and the national park. In fact, there's a trail head about a block away. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again if ever in the area. One note: Google can't find the house for some reason but we were given good instructions by the hostess.

Cute little house. Nice neighbors. Could've used cleaning supplies and coffee, and kitchen items such as foil, etc

The house was perfect. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable, and the covered back patio was a perfect place to watch a summer storm. It was also in a fabulous location. Centrally located for everything we did. The town of Fayetteville is charming and quaint, with lots of great places to eat and a live music venue. We will definitely return!

This property is squeaky clean and was perfect for our two night stay while fishing the New River during the day. The location is convenient to all things in downtown Fayetteville as well as Rt. 16 & Rt. 19 for getting from point A to point B. The only issue is the GPS app does not take you directly to the property, it sends you down a different street. Once we located the house, there were no issues whatsoever. Great stay and would definitely return.

This home was perfect for our visit to the New River Gorge National Park. It is just minutes away from the North Entrance and you can reach gorgeous hikes in no time. The home is in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to town and all the shopping and restaurants. We even met the next door neighbor and her cat! Very friendly!
When we arrived, we found the home to be in immaculate condition. I’m a big stickler for cleanliness and I didn’t see one thing to make me concerned. The kitchen has almost everything you need to make all of your meals, I only wished that we had a baking sheet for some of our things, but we were able to improvise and had no trouble. My son and I will definitely be back to visit more of the National Park, and we will look to stay here again, without a doubt!

It was hard to leave this comfortable home! So very clean, with a very well-appointed kitchen. Modern, clean appliances. Nice big screen tv in den. Each bedroom has a TV, too.
Beds are comfy with great pillows. The nice washer and dryer are so helpful, especially if you are rafting or enjoying the many outdoor activities in surrounding areas. (Much better than staying in cabins at campgrounds, IMO, wrangling wet river clothes.) Great AC! Very kind owner, too. Google Maps may take you to a private drive by a cemetery -- this is not it. Looking at the cemetery, the home is to your right, a few houses down. You will love it!

The house was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen! It’s even in walking distance of an ice cream shop in Fayetteville! I would love to stay here again if I visit New River Gorge in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our visit! Everything from the location, the cleanliness, the neighbors, this place was overall a great stay! Felt like our little home away from home! Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to visit New River Gorge :)

We were in a great location to explore New River Gorge National Park. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean. And we’re pretty fussy! The backyard was large with plenty of places to sit and hang out. We enjoyed it!!

This home was one of the cleanest and coziest places that I’ve stayed. I have to mention how nice and quiet the neighborhood is. It was very close to downtown Fayetteville. We were able to walk to some nice restaurants too. The New River Bridge is just a few minutes away by car. If you might want to cook a meal or two; The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils . I would definitely look to stay here again.

This is a fantastic little place close to the quaint town of Fayetteville and within walking distance to the New River Gorge. We rented the place for Bridge Day and were very pleased with the choice. Tresha was wonderful to work with and she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She has thought about everything when stocking the house, including different size crock pots, air fryer, steamer, blender, etc. The house is very clean and well maintained. We felt right at home in this cozy little gem.
The only thing I would recommend is having a few "staples" in the house, such as aluminum foil, saran wrap, sugar packets, etc.
Other than a few very minor items (that we could live without), I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely book this place again when staying in the area.

This property is in a great location walking distance to Fayetteville and close to hiking and rafting. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. The patio was very peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was extremely clean and decorated nicely. The kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely try to stay again when we come back to the area.

This was the perfect landing place for our adventures in West Virginia. We were in town for a race and the location was really easy access to that venue and our white water rafting excursion. It was such a welcoming and homey place to feel like a local. Easy walk to the small downtown restaurants and shops.
Thanks for sharing your patriotic space with us!

This was the best experience I've had at any hotel or VRBO. The property was immaculate, and checking in and out was a breeze. I also really appreciated the customized sign the owner left for us. It's only a short drive from the National Park, and the town of Fayetteville is within walking distance. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. We will definitely be coming back to see the park again, and this will be my preferred place to stay. Thanks!

Unfortunately my wife and I have been sick with covid. I informed the host that we would be unable to travel to their cottage. I asked about possible credit toward a different stay and have not heard anything. She said she was checking with vrbo to see what could be done. The ratings are only there because it made me fill something in to submit

Communication with Tresha was excellent. She was easy to contact and available if we needed anything during our trip.
The home was just as described. A beautiful home with plenty of room for our small group. There was plenty of space for us to lounge around in the living room and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. The house backs up to some woods and we were greeted by several deer one morning strolling thru the back yard.
The location was ideal for us as it was a quick 5 minute drive to the New River Gorge Bridge allowing us to experience several sunsets during our stay. The home is also a short drive from several other State Parks and the town of Beckley.
Overall we had a memorable stay and appreciated Tresha's hospitality.

Excellent In-Town Option
This was a great option for me with my wife and two teenagers. There are two bedrooms and two queen beds. We enjoyed the grill out back and two houses down is a trail that leads to Wolf Creek and a cool waterfall. The living room has a huge TV and two recliners along with a love seat recliner. It’s an older house but as clean and tidy as you will find. It’s close to town and has easy access to all of the fun spots around Fayetteville. We all highly recommend!

Adorable Cottage
We had a wonderful experience staying in the cottage in Fayetteville. It was super clean and perfect for two people. We enjoyed setting on the back deck watching the deer in the back yard. We will rebook the next time we visit.

Great location for New River Gorge National Park activities
This house was just what we needed. It was close enough to walk to town to eat. Great neighborhood for an evening walk or early morning run. Close enough to drive to all of the trails, park visitor centers, rafting, or other food places. Would definitely stay again. We loved to back patio in the evening and for morning coffee. The only issue was that our GPS took us a little astray, but with the address, we were able to find the house.

Unable to use rental, owner polite.
My husband tested positive for Covid the day before we were to be traveling, so we were unable to stay. (We weren’t eligible for any refund, which is always frustrating, but expected)
Communications with Tresha were polite and timely. I cannot speak to the condition of the house as we never set eyes on it, but I would likely rent it again if I am traveling this way.

Best Place in the Mountains
There are not enough stars available to rate this piece of paradise. The house itself is immaculately clean. Tresha is a wonderful host. The location is perfect. We walked around the neighborhood, there is a really nice walking path in the park along with a beautiful trail next door to this home, we felt like we were walking through a tropical forest. We walked, in the rain, to downtown Fayetville, just a few steps away. So many cute and quaint shops and restaurants, and there is even a Ben Franklin Store. We had friends staying at the Ace Adventure Campground, we drove there every day for the whitewater rafting, waterpark, and kayaking trip and drove back in the evening to sit around the campfire. This house does have a lovely backyard with a nice grill and a fire pit along with all the wood you need for an evening fire. The back porch is covered and very comfortable.. We had everything we needed an more. Thank you Tresha, we cannot wait to come back!

Perfect for a New River getaway!
4 seasons has everything you will need for a perfect adventure in the New River Gorge area. The owner, neighborhood and town are so very friendly. The fireworks display was such a wonderful topper to a great stay. So much to do and see in the area that we will definitely need to stay again soon!

This was a lovely clean home that is very centrally located to the National Park and other amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The house is exactly as pictured, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds extremely comfortable - probably the most comfortable beds I have stayed in for a hotel or VRBO home. The check in instructions and communication were wonderful. Due to unforeseen circumstances there was a loss of electricity but Tresha was right there to let us know what was going on with flashlights and candles at the ready for us. If you are looking for a place to stay near the national park, look no further you have found the perfect cozy spot! We hope to be back for another visit soon!
