Situated in Lake Ouachita, this lovely condo for $408 per night is a great choice for your next break. Looking for a place to unwind and get away from it all? Welcome to our relaxing getaway! Deluxe two bedroom, two bath condominium is tucked away in beautiful Ouachita National Forest at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa. This fully furnished unit includes WiFi, TV in the living room and both bedrooms, games and puzzles in case of rainy days, and a gorgeous view of the forest just off the deck with generous windows throughout the unit. You will find a gorgeous pool just down the hill! Be sure to check the storage closet on the deck - and feel free to borrow our pool noodles and small inflatables that are stored there. Unique feature! This unit has a second set of steps that lead to the woods where you can walk down to the pool. Also provides easy access if you need to take your pet for a walk. Lovely deck has a hammock chair, patio furniture with cushions, BBQ grill and a rocking chair. Fully equipped kitchen includes a full size range, huge stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, regular coffee pot, Keurig coffee maker, blender, mixer, toaster and plenty of cookware. Master bedroom has a king bed with its own sliding glass door for deck access. Be sure to watch for the deer all throughout the day! En Suite bath has a jacuzzi tub and shower. Guest bedroom has a queen bed, and a full size bed with a trundle bed underneath! Guest bedroom also has a door that separates it and the guest bathroom from the other part of the unit for privacy. This unit's location provides you with a short walk to the Spa and Harbor East pool, which is located just down the hill. Nearby you will also find tennis courts, a remote lake swim beach called Sunset beach which is a great place for an evening picnic! A short drive will take you to another tennis court that also has a basketball goal, a playground, several trailheads that offer great hikes of our National Forest, the Riding Stables, and a wonderful Military Museum that offers pre-scheduled tours at no charge. We do want to mention that this condo ( and most of the others) does not have boat parking. There is an overflow parking area up the hill, but it does not have power. Mountian Harbor does rent overnight slips that you can keep your boat in. You have 1 parking spot, clearly marked with your unit number on it- 21BPC. If you have a large size truck, please note that the parking lot isn’t very big. At the Marina, you can rent a party barge and skis, tubes, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards. Be sure to call in advance, because they book up quick! Dreamchasers houseboat rental also rents jet ski's, but again, be sure to call in advance. The marina is also home to two terrific fishing guides : Chris Darby and Mike Worm. Don't feel like cooking? The Marina is also the location of the World's ONLY floating Subway! It is opened seasonally starting in May and going through Labor Day. Also on property is the amazing Lodge Restaurant. It's open Feb-Nov ( call 870-867-2191 and check hours) and offers lake-side dining, to-go pick up, and delivery right to your door! The Lodge also has a newly renovated native rock courtyard that has a wading /kiddie pool, wood-burning fire pit with dinning area, and a gas fireplace that provides a romantic opportunity for couples to dine at. On the other side of the lodge is a full size pool overlooking beautiful Lake Ouachita.

This was a great, cozy condo. It had all the amenities we needed for cooking at home and a short drive into town for nights you’d like to eat out. The master king size bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. We had a great time.

We scheduled a last-minute stay for a needed weekend break, and Merle couldn’t have made it easier! The condo has lots of updates, was very clean, and is well-stocked. The beds were quite comfortable and we all slept well. The owner and Mountain Harbor staff checked on us regularly and were very helpful with any questions or needs we had. From this unit, it’s about a 5-minute walk to docks and Sunset Beach swimming area, where we spent half the day playing on a rented jet ski. You can also drive there and park in a nearby lot. The pool is close by and could be seen from the large, private balcony, where we enjoyed breakfast. We had take-out from the restaurant on site for dinner. It’s a bit higher priced, but the food was great and no complaints from my picky teens. Lake Ouachita is a beautiful area, and we enjoyed our stay here!

Very nice unit and true to description. In walking distance to the water for fishing from the bank. Very close to the Spa which my Mother totally enjoyed her session there. Lodge food is very good but could be on the expensive side for some people. We totally enjoyed it. The staff went out of their way to help us in any way. That was very special. Marina and their staff are very friendly, informative, and offer everything you would need. 30-40 minute drive to Hot Springs and other activities while being able to stay in a quiet inviting community. Loved our stay. Thank you!!

The condo was not very clean. Floors didn't appear to have been mopped, dishes in cabinets had dried food on them. Parking was terrible. Barely enough room to get in & out. Unit mgr was very nice & responsive, which we appreciated.

Four of us came to spend time on our boat. Unfortunately, it was raining so we enjoyed the condo. We cooked, played games and assembled puzzles. We appreciated the puzzles provided. The Resort staff was very attentive calling every day. When rainwater came through the balcony fan, they repaired it promptly. There were plenty of blankets and pillows (we would have appreciated some pillows with less loft). The kitchen was well stocked except with utensils and crockery. We would have appreciated a cookie sheet and salt. It was beautiful and quiet. A perfect place to become reacquainted with adult children.

Every morning we sat on the balcony and watched the deer. Its a beautiful walk to the sunset beach and to the spa. The condo is very comfortable. Clean and well equipped. There is a wonderful jacuzzi tub. The staff at Mt Harbor are very friendly and attentive. We go to Mt Harbor in the summer and at Thanksgiving.. .we really love it there.
