Welcome to the Rusty Windmill. This stunning 2-story cabin has it all! It is conveniently located in the heart of Hochatown, near all the great restaurants, attractions, and park amenities, but is still fairly isolated for privacy and relaxation! This retreat offers rustic elegance with modern charm! The Rusty Windmill is perfect for family reunions, a family get away, or a couple’s retreat. On the main level you will find an open floor plan with entertaining space for everyone to gather, a beautiful stone gas fireplace, and plenty of cozy seating, including a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the appliances and cookware needed to make your favorite meals, Christmas dinner, or have a fabulous cook out. Also on the main level are 2 king bedrooms with bathrooms, a private balcony off the master, and a laundry room off the kitchen. The upstairs area has a loft that contains a foosball table, 2 bathrooms, one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a bunk room that sleeps 4. All bedrooms have great walk-in closets. Outdoors you will find a covered deck that offers a 6-person spa, plenty of seating, a playground for the kids, and an outdoor fire pit perfect for relaxing, making s'mores, or grilling hot dogs. There are games for all ages including foosball, horseshoes, and corn hole. There is also plenty of parking for large vehicles and boat trailers. Sorry NO PETS

It was a great place! We had an awesome time with our family with plenty of room. Only complaint the fireplace on the porch didn’t work but the mangers/owners offered us extra time for our inconvenience. It was so fun spending several days during the holiday season with our family in one place. One suggestion would be to
have a list of places of interests placed in the cabin. Our manager/owners were very gracious.

Our family had a great time at the Rusty Windmill! Loved the rooms and decor. Everything inside was very clean. Only feedback I would give, was there were a lot of thick cobwebs on the chairs around the fire pit and play set that we had to clean off before use. Other than that, everything was just lovely. Would definitely come back!

This house is on the south of town. On a busy weekend coming from Dallas you’ll enjoy that. We had very little traffic. House was spacious with comfy beds. It was very clean. Our weather turned cold so we really enjoyed the fireplaces.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and perfect for our family. We loved the Christmas tree! We were able to go on walks around the cabin, and it was only a short drive to Beavers Bend park. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to others!

Our hostess was kind enough to bring us more paper products on day 2 and some needed cleaning supplies for our babies who sometimes seem a little messy. We laughed, joked and had a FABULOUS TIME together in a home that seemed to be made just for us!

We rented the cabin for our family to have some much needed time together in one house. The house was very clean! It had everything we needed fully stocked towels, toiletries, dishes etc. My family absolutely loved the experience!

We stayed here due to the location of our daughter’s wedding. It was enough room for four couples and the bunk room was great. We enjoyed the playground. Everything was as pictured online. Thank you for a great stay!

Family loved it and would book again
Small family getaway... The cabin was very nice and the pictures doesnt do it justice and had more than enough room. Comfortable beds and rooms were perfectly sized. Communication with the property manager was spot on. I have no complaints and nor the family have any as they loved the cabin. We found that the Waze app was the best navigation app to use to find the location. Plenty of space for parking.

It was great for our family to finally be able to get together after being apart for so long due to the pandemic. We are all vaccinated and were eager to spend time together. This property was the perfect place for us to enjoy each others' company. We would definitely consider booking this property in the future!
