Blue Agave was designed by a famous St John architect with outdoor living in mind by encompassing the pool and HUGE white travertine decks as the focal points of the modern island style villa. A fabulous fact is that Blue Agave is on the sunny, dry, SOUTH side of St. John. It is low enough to hear the waves in Hart Bay, but high enough to have a 160 degree spectacular ocean view. The view from Blue Agave is of four St John bays from Hart Bay to Cruz Bay and the islands of Pillsbury Sound to the west. In the distance you will be able to see St. Croix and St. Thomas. Year round spectacular sunset viewing on the pool deck is one the many pleasures awaiting you. Our family routine is that we are always home for sunsets and the ohhs and ahhs they bring. The romantic twinkling lights of St Thomas will bedazzle you and your loved ones at night while you sip drinks, chat , and play games under the fans of the outdoor gallery. Our villa faces into the gentle, cooling trade winds. Relax on the deck with a drink in your hand while you watch boats sail in the azure waters. From the extremely spacious deck, the sun arcs across the Caribbean Sea giving you ALL DAY sun at the pool. The two covered gazebos allow a choice of sun or shade at any time of the day. The view is magnificent from any spot. The air conditioned bedrooms are unexpectantly large and beautifully decorated. Each room has a spacious in suite bath with a large architectural designed walk in shower. There is master bedroom off great room with a King bed. There are 3 bedrooms on garden level - 1 King, 1 Queen and 1 bedroom which can be King bed or converted to two twins. The mattresses are new and comfortable. Large windows allow for great airflow and views from every room. Twin blow up mattress available for 9th guest. The kitchen has the amenities that you have in your home. We dine in more than we dine out, since we have a better view than any restaurant on St John. We enjoy the casual dining style of grilling fresh fish on the deck while we visit with each other. The owners of Blue Agave enjoy tropical plants and flowers. You will be delighted by the color and floral fragrances of Frangipani and Jasmine. Look for orchids in the trees. Other flowers include allemande, heliconia, Cinderella flower, bird of paradise, bougainvillea, red jatropha, dropping tears, hibiscus, ixora, and ginger to name a few. Landscaping gives privacy from the dead end road to the pool, so that you can enjoy the pool in total privacy. Our lot is huge with magnificent tropical landscaping. You cannot see any neighboring homes from the villa. Blue Agave will provide a relaxing romantic vacation for two and yet can accommodate a very small family event such as a 8 guest wedding or reunion. Neighboring homes can be rented for additional guests. St John is a friendly, laid back island. 'Chillin' is the term used for relaxing here. Blue Agave Villa is so self-contained that you can enjoy the privacy poolside, enjoying rest, rejuvenation and relaxation. (The closest grocery store is 2 minutes away.) When you do venture out, the beaches, world famous snorkeling, and restaurants will delight you. We have wireless internet and are located so that we have US cell phone service (depending on your provider - you may need to confirm international roaming when you are away from internet service.) You can be away, but be connected. We have a new whole house generator which is rare for homes on St John. We feel our guests should have power even during brief island power outages. During Hurricane Irma and Maria in Sept of 2017 Blue Agave was undamaged due to our island design, concrete structure, blue metal "tile" roof with hurricane straps, hurricane shutters on every door and window, hurricane rated sliding patio doors, and good luck. This was our 18th trip to St John and we have stayed in a variety of accommodations; villas, Westin, small apartment. We look first for a great view, second for easy access to Cruz Bay and north shore beaches. Blue Agave is now our #1 villa. We were 4 adults and 3 children ages 5, 3, and 1. The 3 bedrooms below, though technically not connected, worked well for the 3 kids and their parents. Grandparents were comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. The pool was just the right size for kid swimming. While it took some careful attention to the 1 year old, we all felt safe with the kids and pool. The outdoor space was just right and the kitchen well stocked. Oh, did I mention the view! The access was easy, just past the Westin, and while we always rent Jeeps the road and driveway were not too steep.
We would definitely rent again when we come with another group of 8.

Had a fantastic time. The view from the deck, outside dining table and pool were to die for. We never got tired of looking at the views (and sunsets). Rooms were great and the property is centrally located (ie: close enough to the beaches and dining in Cruz Bay but not close enough to hear the sounds of neighboring properties). Which brings up another plus - you could sometimes hear your neighbors in a distance but due to the vegetation - you never saw them. Landscaping was great and we had daily sightings of iguana's and even deer passing thru the yard. Particularly loved the Paraquits (small bird with a bright yellow breast) - almost had one eating out of my hand. Have stayed before in St. Johns but this was the best!!

We enjoyed our time in this great house. The hoist provided everything you need for all the beaches on the island. The kitchen had everything we could need and the ice maker was great.
Truly enjoyed everything about our stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had a group of 4 couples and this had a private space for every couple. The patio is phenomenal and the views are stunning. We had a great time cooking out and enjoying the pool after a day at the beach. The property was easy to get to and had enough parking for (2) 4 door jeeps. The property manager Jackie was great to work with. This one will be high on our list to book again.

Blue Agave is a private yet convenient location, just minutes from both Starfish and Dolphin markets. Each room w/ en suite is very private. Kitchen and living area indoors is on the smaller side for a full group of 8 adults, however; outside of cooking, all time is spent on the spacious patio, which offers a mix of sun and shade. The outdoor dining areas make for a great socializing & dinner spot. Sunset views during our April stay were fantastic and easily seen. Not too much to worry about when booking Blue Agave.

We stayed at Blue Agave for a family trip with our two adult kids and their partners. The villa was even better than in the pictures and the view was spectacular. Everything we needed was there and the bedrooms were spacious, private and comfortable. Blue Agave is close to the action in Cruz Bay - short taxi ride - and convenient to the beautiful beaches. Jackie and Michelle were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about restaurants, transportation, logistics and places to visit. This was our first trip to St John and Jackie and Michelle were so quick to respond to the many questions we had!! We highly recommend Blue Agave and would love to come back and stay here again!!

Blue Agave had everything we could have hoped for and more!
The view alone is extraordinary. Each room had a private bathroom, had plenty of space, and satisfied all of our needs as a large group with an infant.
The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals throughout the week. There were a lot of staples (seasoning, coffee, popcorn) already present that made that first night and morning after a long day traveling that much more comfortable. Jackie even provided a delicious charcuterie tray on arrival!
Working with Jackie and Michele throughout our planning process was a breeze. They had answers to all of our questions and excellent suggestions. Dinner at the Inn at Tamarind Court was fantastic - thanks Jackie!
Pickup service at Cruz Bay was a nice touch, and Jackie also drove us to get our rental car the day after we arrived.
The accommodations at Blue Agave were amazing - and the services provided by Jackie and her team really made the whole experience top notch. We would stay there again without question!

The house had gorgeous views and a fantastic outdoor space with plenty of room, whether you wanted to be in the sun or the shade! The house had everything you could think of to need: kitchen items, towels, beach chairs, coolers and more! The pool was amazing to relax in every afternoon too! And, Jackie was a great property manager and easy to get a hold of and quick to respond! Highly recommend!

Beautiful and perfectly equipped solidly built villa with stupendous views and one of the most accessible and convenient locations on St. John. Mornings spent at beaches with late afternoon and evenings spent in the perfect hillside outdoor space. Well-managed property with attentive response to all questions and issues and everything needed to spend a relaxed week's vacation.
Lower three suites provide air conditioned privacy and all needs while the first level suite provides either classic open and breezy sleeping suite or close it up and air condition (We never used the air conditioning there).
Within minutes of groceries and downtown Cruz Bay. Longer distances to north beaches but nice drive for those adventures. This is one of the easier hillside locations for access and parking.

Blue agave was beautiful with beautiful views. The pool was nice, my adult children enjoyed it on the warm afternoons. Jackie the manager was great. She met us at the ferry and showed us the house and the town. The kitchen was fully equipped and beds comfortable with air conditioning! Beach towels and chairs were provided so we could enjoy the beautiful beaches. I was sad to leave! I definitely recommend Blue Agave! Great place

The property is exactly as described in the listing. The nearly 180 degree view was great. Jackie, the property manager, was very responsive and did everything possible to rectify problems. We would stay here again.
The villa is convenient to Cruz bay and the drive was easy. The patio outside is massive with plenty of shade and sun. The pool was cool but very pleasant once you got in. We enjoyed eating on the outside dining table with beautiful views. It is very private although the lot next door just sold but there is no construction presently.

Spectacular panoramic views!
We were 3 couples visiting St. John for a week of vacation while exploring the beautiful beaches of the island. Blue Agave was everything and more than we anticipated!! The views were breathtaking and the outdoor space perfect for early morning coffee, relaxing after the beach, and sunsets during dinner. We also enjoyed the pool each afternoon. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. The house is absolutely perfect for an awesome vacation!!

This property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. We were close to town with all the wonderful and delicious restaurants plus the starfish market. Jackie was the perfect property manager!

This is a very comfortable house with a large deck with spectacular views. It worked well for our family but would serve a group of adults, as well. It is in a great location, near to grocery and other shopping. The managers are very responsive to any needs you may have.

Great Beaches, awesome villa, deck❤️
Favorite vacation, from the villa that you didn’t need to leave. Amazing panoramic view. (I loved looking at waves in heart bay) to the drive to a different beach every day. Quick jaunt down to Cruz bay as well.

Perfect for a family or group
The common areas were just right fro St. John. We spent most of our times on the deck, whether swimming, lounging, or dining. The air flow between the screens in back and sliders in front made the evening breezes cool everything off in the living/kitchen area. Well stocked kitchen! We did much of our own cooking so this was appreciated. Bedroom setup gave everyone privacy. If/when we go back, I would definitely book there again.

Dream Vacation
Blue Agave was an absolute dream!
Upon arrival off the ferry, the host, Michele, met our group and took us to the house to get settled. Being a group of 8 (4 couples) the house was the perfect set up so we could have our own space and still be part of the group.
The views were magnificent, and the layout of the outdoor patios and pool area was perfect. There was ample seating available for outdoor use, and a binder listing any pertinent information about the island from excursions to food was the icing on the cake.
The house was clean and well kept. They even had beach towels for us to use, as well as coolers and beach chairs to take to the beach.
Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! We are so thankful we found Blue Agave – it’s definitely a 5-star stay!

This is the perfect house for enjoying St John. The basics of being well equipped and very comfortable are covered. But the views, the pool, the breezes, and the location set this property apart from others!

Breathtaking View & Perfect Location
This home had everything we needed for 8 adults to have a perfect vacation. Bedrooms were all a great size with their own bathrooms and A/C. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to make meals at home. From seasonings to, chip clips to foil and sandwich baggies we were pleasantly surprised as to how well stocked the kitchen was. The pool deck was amazing and where we spent all of our time when on property. Meals at the covered outdoor dining table, lounge chairs and end tables by the pool complimented the huge patio space. 100% would stay again!

Everything you'd expect
We loved the Blue Agave, location and accommodations were awesome. The pool deck and outdoor dinning area are great. Not too mention location to Food, shopping and Cruz Bay as well as all the National Park Beaches. I would recommend this property to anyone. If there is 1 small suggestion, I would trim the tree's/bushes to the right end of the pool view in order to have a unobstructed view while lounging in the pool. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Beautiful Views
The proerpty was fantastic. The best part of the house is the outdoor space on the deck. The views are incredible. The table was large and we were able to bring the entire family together to eat and play games while being on the covered porch watching taking in the island/sea views. The pool was nice for evening cool off. The gas grill was a great option for cooking in the evening. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all large and the air conditioning in the rooms were amazing! The kitchen was well stocked and found everything that we could possibly need. The provided beach chair, towels, snorkeling masks, coolers made for memorable beach days. I never thought a house generator was a must on the island but the island lost power several times and we just fine because the generator kicked on quickly and vacation carried on. Beautiful home, great amenities!

Best Vacation Ever!
Our stay at Blue Agave was wonderful, better than I could’ve imagined! The house was beautiful and immaculate. The pool and views were perfection. Property manager was awesome and accessible. The house is private and secluded yet just a short drive from Cruz Bay and any markets you need. We snorkeled, swam with Sea Turtles, and explored the island; then we came home to beautiful Blue Agave. We all had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this property and I would definitely come back and stay again!
