About this house rental

Located in Ojai, this lovely house for $302 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Aliso Street Adobe is a historical landmark on a quiet street in downtown Ojai walking distance to everything! The home is in pristine condition. It has central heat and air and shades and sheers on the windows. The shades in the bedroom are blackout shades for those who like a dark room. The adobe has solid hardwood floors throughout and a sweet private Saltillo tile patio on the east side of the Kitchen. The front porch is Saltillo tile as well and it's nice place to sit and watch the world go by as it is situated right between both local farmers market's. The bathroom has Spanish tile and a vintage ball and claw foot tub with a full shower as well as a hand held. We never use toxic cleaning products and artificial scents and all linens are either organic or OKEO-TEX certified. All bedding is high quality linen in the summer and optional flannel in the winter. All pots and pans are stainless steel, not aluminum. The range is mint condition vintage and the fridge is a Smeg. There is a large screen Samsung television and a DVD that plays CD's with an old collection of CD's .... not a turntable I know, but kind of fun. It's an easy walk up Signal St. to the Shelf Road trails and of course just a few minutes walk to anywhere in town and there are two nice cruiser bikes with baskets as well on which you can enjoy the 17 mile Ojai bike path with.

Place looks just like the photos on line. Owner, Kim, is next door. It’s. A duplex. She was very friendly & helpful. Thick walls. You won’t hear anything from her side. It’s just 2 blocks to everything. I had no car so I walked to town daily for food & wine. Restaurants, shopping, library, etc.

A beautiful VRBO experience. Lovely home downtown Ojai but on a quiet street. We walked to all restaurants and shops and the delightful Sunday market. First class property, beautiful private side patio. The charming owner Kimberly was very attentive when we needed anything. My wife works remotely and she enjoyed the super fast Spectrum wifi. Soule Park golf course is just a few minutes drive. We shall definitely return.

Everything one could want in a great location. The hostess was great - very responsive and available, yet never overly involved. Just felt like one had been long-time neighbors. I'm looking forward to a return trip.

Kim's home is incredibly thoughtful and intentional and it's in the best pocket of Ojai. Walk to every restaurant you need, farmers market, tasting rooms and more. The beds are comfortable, sheets are so soft and it feels so homey. The unit is very private with it's own entrance, private patio- you feel like you have your own oasis. I can't say enough good things about this stay and I'll be booking it again very soon.

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better place

Kim has created her guest house with thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and charm. There was so much I loved here, it’s hard to choose what to say. My favourite features were the comfortable bed, the divine bathtub (where there’s a dimmer switch in the room), the natural light streaming through the kitchen ceiling, the view of the Topatopa mountains through the front window, the low tech kitchen with everything necessary, a washer/dryer, and the private patio. Oh, and the location. Her personal touches were lovely and appreciated—from special towels, soaps and teas to fresh flowers and jugs of good water. And then there were the things you might not think about: hooks and drawers where you need them, knives in the kitchen that actually cut, umbrellas on the patio, heat that’s instantly responsive. Kim offers the duplex on the other side of her own wall—she is always available and never intrusive. This is a remarkable place to land.
