You’re surrounded by water at this bright, beachy four-bedroom oceanfront home on Dauphin Island, steps from the sand and close to town. Start your day rocking in the porch swing on your deck, marveling at your view. There’s nothing between you and the Gulf of Mexico - except your private pool. Enjoy a quick walk before everyone wakes up, sneak in a swim, and then head inside to make breakfast. The open, modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of gleaming white counter space and cabinets, and all the gadgets you need to whip up some pancakes. At mealtime, eat together at the adjacent dining table for six, or grab one of the four barstools. When it’s time to head out, West End Beach (and that pool) are right outside the home. You'll love the gleaming sands and glorious sunsets with someone you love. After a day out on the sand or exploring town, get cozy on the couches in front of the TV. If you can’t agree on what to watch, no problem – each of the four bedrooms features a flatscreen TV of its own. There are two main suites, each with a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and direct deck access. There’s a queen room at the front of the house, and bunk room with four beds and its own en-suite bathroom as well. Before turning in for the night, though, take a dip in the heated pool or slip back into that porch swing and watch the stars come out over the Gulf. Things to Know The pool is heated to 80 to 85 degrees. Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts. This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Dauphin Island is a charming, cozy and quiet place. The house is in a beautiful location. Living room is extremely worn and the sofa cushions are almost as flat as a pancake. Other than that, beds were comfortable and it was extremely clean. I would stay here again.

Only reason it’s not 5 stars is pool is advertised as a heated pool but it never got even warm and there wasn’t a way for us to control the temp. Other than that this place was great! Very roomy & well furnished! Lots of extra towels and lots of pots & pans. Internet is a little spotty but manageable! I would recommend!!

The house is located about 7-10 houses from West Beach—the closest public beach. Easy walking distance. The house itself needed more attention to detail. The floor is warping, top tray of dishwasher was broken but useable. It was difficult keeping the floor clean from sand because the broom provided was old and worn. No handvac was provided. Bedspreads and sofas were old and worn. The beds were comfortable. A text was sent to vacasa regarding broom and dishwasher but no response. The pool was clean and warm but really just a plunge pool. Too small to swim in. We excepted nicer amenities for a “new” house given the price.

The house was beautiful. You had the best of both worlds with the bay in the back and the ocean in the front. House was stocked for cooking and was very comfortable. The air worked great stayed cool on the hottest days. The pool was a big hit with the kiddos. The ocean was a very short walk across the street. Very quiet with not a lot of people around. Most times we was the only people at the beach or at the bay. The grill worked good. and the porch swing was a good touch looking at the bay side to just relax. The porch was amazing I would stay again

We spent a week here, and enjoyed every minute of it! The island is charming, the views are breathtaking, and the private pool and beach make for a truly relaxing, peaceful, easy vacation. The house is set up nicely for a larger family to all have their own comfortable space; however, it is not very well stocked. The kitchen offers bare minimum utensils and pans, so if you plan to do much cooking, bring what you need. You’re provided with 2 extra trash bags, 3 dish tabs, 3 laundry tabs, 1 roll of paper towels, and 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom. No spices, cooking oil, large pans, sharp knives, etc. The grill doesn’t work. The wifi, internet, and tv are extremely hit or miss for those family movie nights. The pool temperature gets very, very warm after noon, as well. For the money and the size of the house, I expected the accommodations mentioned to truly accommodate. The shops on the island are limited, so I would have preferred to at least know to come prepared! So, yes, it’s a great place to stay, but come prepared so that you’re able to just sit back and relax!

This beach house is gorgeous!! Modern interior with new fixtures and appliances. A very beachy feel with the colors and decor. Only 3 "wish" items: 1. With lots of bare feet, we got a few splinters from the wood deck 2. The internet speed... we had 11 people staying so between streaming, gaming and posting pics of our trip (all during some down time), the internet had a lag. 3. Controlling the temp if the pool... when it was nice out pool was really warm and when a strom rolled in and caused temps to drop, the pool got cold and stayed that way. When we contacted Vacasa, they said the heater was dependent upon air temp and would warm as the air warmed, which it didn't. And by the 5th day into our 7 day stay, it needed to be cleaned. Other than those issues, this place was perfect!! The views for sunrise and sunset were unobstructed from our decks. The gulf being right across the street meant lots of time to easily go to the beach and back to the house. We cooked all of our meals and had utensils and cook ware right there. And the pool!! We utilized it a lot !! Will definitely rent this house again!!

Every Bedroom had a Full Bath. 2 King Bedrooms, 1 Queen Bedroom and a Bedroom with 2 sets of Bunk beds that sleeps 4. Total of 4 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms. The Bayside porch was Awesome and Huge. We had two toddlers ages 2 and 3 and the Bayside porch was a lifesaver 😊. The pool is also on the back porch. It has a Gate the babies couldn’t open so they could play on the porch without us worrying about the pool. The House is across the street from the Beach but a short walk. We also went to the Bay which the Kids loved, plenty of sand and water for them to play in. There’s a gas grill on the back deck. Stop at Walmart before you get there to get groceries because there is no store close the house except for a Chevron gas station. The Walmart is about 30 to 40 minutes from the house. We had a Wonderful time. Awesome house 😊🐬🏖

Located on the West End beach, this house was the perfect place. The house fits large groups comfortably with 4 large bedrooms rooms and 4 large bathrooms. The home is brand new and feels very welcoming. You have a washer and dryer to wash clothes and the kitchen is fully stocked. The best part was that you have the Bay and the Gulf with this house- and a pool!! The kids were swimming everyday, fishing, and even went jet skiing. Highly Recommend!

Great location. Plenty of room. Every bedroom had a private bathroom. Loved the arrangement of the kitchen. The deck had everything including a pool. I can't imagine anything this house doesn't have. ( an elevator would be nice.) It is furnished well, as well. There were some minor issues left from the previous renters but Vacasa fixed those immediately. Very sweet Vacasa lady. Probably the best vacation ever.

My family loved this house! We loved the ocean being so close. This house is across the road from the ocean, but it is a very short walk. The bay is directly behind the house. We enjoyed the pool as well. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises from the back deck. It was so peaceful and quiet.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed that the property was not located on the Gulf side of the island as the description and pin on map places it on gulf side. Once in the house and saw our view with unobstructed sunset from the porch, I was quickly excited about our stay. The pool and back deck was woderful as we were not compelled to swim in bay/sound water. Was nice to have a bathroom per each bedroom! Would rent this home again!

This is a cute vacation property. We were all comfortable and content. Beautiful views and pretty spacious. They provided extra blankets and pillows in the closets which was super convenient. However, there were a few situations that we ran into. 1. The front king bedroom got noticeably hot when the sun was out and the door was closed. We kept the thermostat on 68 and the room was still pretty warm. 2. The heated pool seemed to be on a timer, maybe? So it would only be heated at certain times throughout the day/night — Other times it was pretty cold. 3. We saw HUGE rats — one was in the grill and the other one was below the deck under our truck. The size of the rats were equivalent to a small dog. 4. We booked a 5 night stay where we were only provided 3 dishwasher tabs, a tiny bottle of dish soap, 3 washer pods, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags so we ended up having to go purchase more of these items. 5. I messaged the Vacasa owners through VRBO 2 days before our trip and they never messaged me back All things that can easily be fixed moving forward, just wanted to provide an honest review.
