Nestled in Ellicottville, this attractive house for $619 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The newly built FIRST FLOOR ( no stairs whatsoever ) Chateau Merlot ( Feb. 2022 ) has a large luxurious layout. We worked hard at thinking of everything you would be hoping for in a vacation home. Located at 37 Mill St. it is a great village location and a short walk to all of the shops, restaurants, and everything the village has to offer. It is a perfect getaway for 2-3 families and or friends. Quite luxurious with 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 ensuites, you will have plenty of room for yourself and your family and friends. The property is just about 2500 square feet and has both a front and back covered patio. Bring your padlock for the attached ski/ golf bag locker. Everything about the property is quality and built to our specifications All Amish-built custom bedroom sets with high-quality bedding, and a 12-person Rustic Maple dining room set. Gorgeous stone custom-built gas fireplace for a cozy evening. Large kitchen with seating for 6 around the Alaskan Leather Granite Countertop Kitchen Island. Great layout for entertaining your group. We have a 70" ROKU TV in the living room for easy viewing in the large and open DLR/DR/kitchen area. Each bedroom has its own ROKU TV as well with a premium Spectrum TV package. The bedrooms are beautiful and the higher-end mattress sets and bedding should ensure a great night's sleep after all of your festivities during the day. All bedrooms have blackout window shades. You will be quite comfortable having both radiant floor heat as well as forced air and air conditioning. From the living room, look to the right you can see a view of Greer Hill at Hoilimont, or to the left, you will see Holiday Valley. We added multiple large windows so you could appreciate those relaxing picturesque views. Outside you have (2) covered patios to choose from. The one in the front of the property has a sitting area for 5 guests while the larger one in the back has seating for 12 guests. You also have use and access to a firepit with resin adirondack chairs. Please bring your own wood for the pit. When you are ready to host larger groups than the Chateau Merlot alone will accommodate, please consider adding our Chardonnay Chalet ( property #1750115 ), and our Bordeaux Bungalow ( property # 1440191 ). excellent property in a good location and is fully outfitted with all the amenities one can require. Good instructions for check in and operations of the unit. Would return again when the familly is ready to gather. Perfectly suited 10 people with no problem.

Our party of 11 had a wonderful stay at the property. The location was ideal - very close to town and a very short drive to the ski resorts. The house was incredibly clean and very spacious. The living area could easily accommodate all of us, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Daryl was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back!

We had a great stay at Chateau Merlot! Location very close to town. The unit is very newly renovated and everything is very nice inside. Great spot to gather with a larger group! Communication with the owner was great as well.

Daryl was an excellent host and we really liked the house! My family and I agreed that this place was probably the most well stocked as far as nice pots and pans, cookie sheets, knives that are actually sharp and easy to use. It is easy to walk in to Ellicottville from the house and only a little over an hour to Niagara Falls which was one of the places we visited. Great stay overall!

We were in Buffalo for a wedding, 12 of us, all family, and this place met our needs perfectly. The place was well equipped, new, and accessible by foot to our activities in the village. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire outside during eves and using the grill to make fantastic burgers. Our 5 year old grandson stayed with us one night and he loved the bunk beds. I saw they even had a high chair for little ones. Finally, the owner was helpful and accessible. We hope to return.

There was 6 adults in our group and this place had more than enough space to accommodate everyone's needs. Clean, well taken care of, and very well stocked with kitchen necessities. Easy access to town and the slopes. Just a bit too far to walk into town but it's a 30 second drive which was nice.

This spacious home was perfect for our family ski trip with our 3 sons and their wives. The large great room with cozy fireplace and well-equipped kitchen make for excellent family times. Location was great- very close to ski slopes and also to town. Daryl was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back to Chateau Merlot!

This was by far one of the best rentals we have ever used. The kitchen was stocked full of every kitchen item we could ever need. The entire place was immaculate. Truly a 10/10 experience.

We had an amazing weekend! The home is a .3 mile walk from the Tops in the village, my family was able to walk to all the bars and restaurants! It was so convenient. The home was even larger than the pictures made it seem and it was incredibly clean. Daryl was so responsive and answers all my questions leading up to me booking. I would absolutely stay at again and recommend to friends and family.

Externally, this property is less of a house and more of an addon to what appears to have been an existing business building. This is not a bad thing as it opened up plenty of parking and ease of access to load and unload cars. Inside, it's a home. We had a party of 9 family women aged 15-62 and we had plenty of space for everyone and never felt the least bit crowded. The furnishings are beautiful, comfortable beds and modern conveniences like buttons on the wall to lower the blinds and lighted bathroom mirrors. House was equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Walkable to town which is a huge bonus as town parking is limited. Darryl was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We'd go back!

The photos of this property are spot on. It has an open and large living space that’s perfect for big groups. The four bathrooms a make mornings easy. The bedroom off the living room however has noise from a heat pump or something so ear plugs are needed. We will book this property again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this property! It's very spacious and included so many amenities. We had 8 women stay overnight and never had an issue with space or bathroom time! All of the girls said they would love to come back and stay there again. Thank you Daryl!

Fabulous house

We stayed here two nights to celebrate a 40th birthday. It is very spacious but comfortable. Everything is updated with more electrical and USB outlets than you'll ever need. Both nights we walked the short distance to town for dinner at EBC one night and Dina's the second. Everything was easy about checking in and checking out. The owner was uber-available and very accomodating. I would highly recommend this place!

First time at the Château Merlot and we were not dissapointed. The eight of us enjoyed our time there , the rooms were fantastic,new,clean and bright. We had a question when we first arrived that the owner addressed immediately. All our contact was professional and pleasant. We were blown away by the cleanliness, modern finishes, and amenities house had to offer. Pleasantly surprised by the amount is dishware and kitchen appliances offered. This property and location were fantastic for our family's needs. Plenty of parking in the back and back patio was fantastic. Owner was very responsive when needed. Will definitely return in the future!
