About this house rental
Welcome to The Egg's Nest – it's the best of both worlds! You can launch your boat just across the street at the marina, or walk/bike to the beach (half mile). Our house is located across from the park and community pool. Lots to do in Jamaica Beach and Galveston! You are 15-20 minutes from Historical Downtown Galveston where you can find golf, art galleries, dining, Schlitterbahn and more! Pack your bags and prepare to chill out. You'll love spending time outside – a beautiful balcony porch with a picnic table and many Adirondack chairs, a huge yard to run around and play lawn games. Fully stocked kitchen and all linens are included. Washer/ dryer available. WiFi is great with two Roku TVs, ceiling fans in every room, and new A/C. Community pool costs $5/day – hours of operation are seasonal. Please note that the second bathroom is downstairs near laundry and storage room and is not air conditioned. We love it here at The Egg's Nest and hope you will too!

Perfect getaway spot for me and my family! So close to Jamaica beach and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here in the future.

Lovely visit ! House was just as pictures showed. Beds were very comfortable! Location to pool was nice (we didn't use it) beach calling us. I was disappointed that the downstairs bathroom was not air conditioned. We were there on extreme heat days so it was pretty much useless. Also do not bring coffee pods, only a standard coffee maker available. But host was very gracious to us and it was a fun time.

We had no problems of finding our destination to the location. The place is/was exactly as it was described. We enjoyed our time at the place and we had great time visiting the attractions in town of Galveston Island. We hope to visit again.

The 5 of us stayed for a fishing trip. We caught plenty of Reds and Trout on Captain Shawn Warren’s boat. We stayed in a great location with plenty of outdoor deck area, chairs, and tables. We grilled on an outdoor grill provided. Almost forgot about the outdoor shower. It was a big hit. We lived like Kings for a few days.

We loved the location and how easy it was to walk the kayaks over to the water. Thank you for the use of them! We also enjoyed the use of the bikes. My kids loved playing soccer in the yard. The beds were super comfy! One of the best things about your house is the deck and the view at sunset. Just beautiful! It’s a quick drive over to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Even though the weather was windy and a little cool we had a wonderful time.

Such a super comfy and cozy place to stay! This place had it all and wasn't lacking anywhere! Melissa was an awesome host and available to chat anytime. We only stayed for 2nights 3 days for a last minute getaway but will definitely be booking again for a longer stay! We couldn't get enough of that awesome balcony!

Melissa was always available to communicate. It was clean. She even let me check in early which was excellent. I didn't even ask she offered. The only issue was the 2nd bathroom was downstairs in the washroom. I would still go back if Melissa's home is available. First time using VRBO and it was a great experience.

It's a really cute little beach house with comfy furniture and beachy themed decor throughout. The kitchen is small, but great if you want to do a little cooking. The beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The property owners were awesome at communicating, but we honestly didn't need anything much while we were there. It was a nice, quiet getaway for a couple of friends, but it would be a great place for families too.

We have a great time, The property is in the Jamaica Beach area. Well equipped, great location, Very clean. 3 bedrooms 2 bath. All bedrooms and one bathroom in the second floor. Another full bathroom in the first floor. The house has a great deck for family chatting. We love it. Good communication with the owner

My family stayed at the Eggs Nest in a Jamaica Beach property. I don’t know how we could have had a more enjoyable stay. The residence had all the amenities you could want and we felt like we were at home. We have been to Galveston a few times and I’m pretty sure we will be looking for a ‘Nest’ the next time we travel to Galveston.

We, our parents and our kids had a lot of fun at and around this house. Beach is 2 mins and Galveston is 25 minutes away. We wished we had stayed longer. :)

We had an awesome time in the eggs nest. The home was comfortable and the ac was cold and worked awesome.
We will definitely be renting this home again in the future it was close enough to town but very close to the beach the bay and the community pool which the kids loved.
The porch and under the home were fantastic places and we really enjoyed sitting there different times during the day and evenings.
