Location: Jamaica Beach community of Galveston, Texas Beach access: Just a two minute drive from the Jamaica Beach access point. Cars and golf carts are allowed to park on the beach. Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day - $5 per person) and city park. Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates. WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home. Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well. Pet policy: Up to 2 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend! Parking: There is room for 4 cars in the driveway. Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. The main living area, filled with natural light, features a Smart TV – perfect for movie nights after a day building sandcastles. Enjoy casual meals at the kitchen island while the fun spills over to the ground floor! This lower level offers a full-size sleeper sofa, a comfy full sized bunk bed, a classic arcade game, and a foosball table – get ready for some friendly competition! A convenient half bathroom with a laundry area completes the ground floor. Head upstairs and discover two comfortable bedrooms, each with plenty of space to unwind. One room boasts a queen-sized bed, while the other features a queen bed and a twin bunk bed, perfect for families or groups of friends. Step outside onto the large front porch, where you can choose between a shaded area for a cool retreat or a sunny spot to soak up the rays. After a day of exploring Jamaica Beach, gather around the fire pit in the massive backyard and roast marshmallows under the stars. Fire up the BBQ grill and enjoy a delicious cookout, or simply relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture and listen to the calming sounds of the ocean breeze. We do not allow parties. - Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. - Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost. - All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel. - No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied. - Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team. - Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.

The house was ok, but the separation of space made it difficult for my family. It probably a great space with families with teenagers, not so much for smaller kids. Then the mosquitos made it difficult to enjoy the outside. The Host was very responsive, which was nice. Also I didn’t like that guest are asked to empty the dishwasher, when paying a cleaning fee, according to the house rule book. Loading the dishwasher should be enough.

We enjoyed staying there on jolly Roger so much. If I had one thing to complain about it would have been the mosquitoes, which I know is out of anyone's control. We loved our get away. Thank you again

The house appeared to be clean until you took your shoes off then you socks were dirty. If you like taking a shower in your own water this is the house for you because the bathtub did not drain and the shower curtain has mold on it. There were dead bugs on the wall where someone had killed them and no one ever cleaned them off. If it rains during your stay the toilet will not flush all the way. Also you will need to wade in 4-5 inches of water to your car 🙄. The washer leaks. And the floor in the first floor was soft squishy and broken which make have been from either the water outside or the washer issue. Then the lawn service will come during a rain storm and leave grass everywhere from the water you have to wade in to blowing on your vehicle. The only plus to this house it had hot water. . The house is not really walking distance to the beach as it says. Also make sure you take OFF for the mosquitoes they will eat you alive. The “Master bedroom” the surround that is around the window AC unit is broken which allows mosquitoes in! This was not a vacation to remember!

It was 10 of us and we loved every minute of our stay. The host Russell was very responsive and the property had everything we needed and more. The teens as well as the adults love the video games, the pool two blocks away and the beach right up the street. We were close enough to Pleasure Pier to enjoy it without having to tavel a long distance but far away enough to relax day or night without the hustle and bustle. This property is perfect for a group with multiple age groups traveling together.

Property management responds to every message super fast. I had to message them more than my usual VRBO though. It was last available in this area for this day and wouldn’t pay this much if I wasn’t desperate.

We had a great time. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of dishes and pots and pans that came in handy. Unfortunately we weren’t able to utilize the top bunk on the upstairs bunk due to broken rails, but we made it work. The kids loved the arcade games and the adults loved the fooseball table. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and the beach access was right across the main road. It was convenient, clean, and we felt safe in the area. The property manager checked on us the first morning to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. That was nice. This isn’t a luxury location by any means, but it has all the necessities of a place to sleep after a long day at the beach with the kids and a nice area to hangout at night to play games and have fun with the family!

Everything was clean and nice. There were plenty of utensils and towels. Ac worked great. Not anything negative to really say. We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 8 years old. I would book here again.
