Our 3 bed, 3 bath family friendly condo is located in Clearwater Beach's most unique waterfront property. Sun West Palms is a 10 unit luxury condominium located 300 yards from the white sands and blue-green waters of world famous Clearwater Beach. Restaurants, attractions, Pier 60, area shops, and marina are all within walking distance. This ideal location is close to all the action in Clearwater Beach, yet when you want a peaceful retreat at the end of the day return to your condo on a quiet residential street complete with your reserved covered parking space. This unit features a waterfront balcony complete with brand new patio furniture. The unit has been completely remodeled in recent years and is in the perfect location to enjoy a day at the beach. New floors were installed in May of 2022. New paint throughout the entire condo including kitchen cabinets June 2022. All new patio furniture May 2022. New refrigerator May 2022 along with comfort height toilets in all three bathrooms in June 2022. New décor along with furniture May – October of 2022. Just added a new mattress and box spring in primary bedroom January 2023, new washer and dryer July 2023, new queen mattress August 2023/ Open floor plan is a perfect layout for a family or adult vacation. Gourmet kitchen features professional stainless appliances, granite counter tops, with dining in adjacent area. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities that you would enjoy as if you were at home. Huge King Primary bedroom with walk-in closet, large primary bath with jacuzzi tub and walk-in, glassed shower, two sinks and separate water closet. Balcony off Primary bedroom. Queen bedroom with private bathroom and large, walk-in closet. Third bedroom features two twin beds, spacious closet, also with a private bath. Please note there are 3 bedrooms. Additional guests are accommodated with an air mattress. It is the condo policy to restrict the number of guests permitted to 8. Please contact me if you have any questions about this. You'll enjoy the privacy of the year-round heated pool and spill-over spa, tiki huts and loungers right on the waterfront. The pool area also has a private storage closet that houses your very own beach cart, beach chairs, beach and pool toys, boogie boards, etc. There is an assigned single parking space and a few guest parking spots if needed in case you have a second car. The parking spaces can easily accommodate a large SUV or a minivan; however, no trailers can be brought in and parked in the garage. Convenient location means you can walk to the area's great restaurants, listen to live music while you watch the sunset at Pier 60's Key West-style sunset festival, and experience all the water activities Clearwater Beach & Marina have to offer: Dolphin & Pirate Cruises, charter boats, para-sailing, jet-skis or just pure beach relaxation on sugar sand. Local Flavors include Taco Bus, Frenchy's, Crabby's Beachwalk Bar & Grill, and Jimmy Crow's Nest Roof Top Bar. This condo is located approximately 40 minutes from the Tampa Airport. Tampa Bay's Busch Gardens and Florida Aquarium are just 30 minutes away; Disney is just a 90-minute drive! The Tampa Bay area also hosts many pro sports teams. Fantastic location, close to the beach and local restaurants. Close enough for me to walk with my 3 year old and carry my 10 month old. The bay is beautiful. The pool was great and never too crowded when we wanted to go. Lots of beach toys for my girl to play with. Plenty of space for us plus my parents. We would book again!

The place was very clean and accommodating. The location is great. We walked everywhere including the beach. Short walk to Pier 60. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony and saw a dolphin in the bay. The beds were very comfortable. The only glitch was we arrived after midnight and kept driving down bayside drive to find the entry. The actual entry is on Hamden. It was dark and that made it hard to find. Free covered parking is a plus. We would not hesitate returning there.

The property was amazing and we had an excellent trip. The location was wonderful, close enough to easily walk to many of the destinations we were wanting to visit, yet far enough away to be able to enjoy the peacefulness of the canal in the morning and evening. There was plenty of beach gear provided and we loved having a beach cart to carry chairs and umbrellas for a long day on the beach.

Excellent property. It is exactly as it appears in the images and description. We were a group of three adults and three teenagers. Perfect for a spring break get-away. Excellent location for beach, shops, and restaurants. We would totally stay here again. A couple points for those who book (and I encourage you to do so): Pool is shaded. In the morning and early afternoon pool loungers have sun, but the pool itself does not. The door lock is tricky. The property manager is very helpful, but we never really figured it out. If locking while out of the condo is an issue for you, just make sure you have it figured out. Lastly, condo is very clean and cleaning fee is money well spent. With that said, this VRBO is different than others I have rented in that you need to wash and dry the towels before you leave. We did not have an early flight, so no issues for us. If we had a morning flight, this is a bit of an unreal expectation. I think starting the load of towels is reasonable, but drying and putting away is not, and charging additional fees for failing to do so is not a good business plan. Again, this is not a deal breaker for me, but not typical and not in the VRBO vacation spirit, in my opinion.

The condo was decorated beautifully and was extra roomy. The pool was small but nice and the walk to the beach was short. Everything you could need or want was at the condo. Beach towels & beach chairs (with carrying cart) were provided as well as many other beach items. We grilled hamburgers on the balcony with the electric grill provided. The ocean water is crystal clear in Clearwater and fun to swim in. Truly a great place to vacation.

We have regularly attended Phillies Spring Training for 30 years. We like to experience different locations in Clearwater Beach. Six of us agree this is the best location, close to the beach, restaurants and ice cream. Enjoyed the hot tub after some pickleball. Condo delivers as described and is well equipped for our 6 adults. Good to have two car spaces available with the guest pass. Fourth time staying in this building. Will probably return.

Overall, a great condo in a central location (overlooking intercoastal was relaxing and easy walk to ocean-beach); only a few things to note: on the first day we noticed that our barefeet were "black" from the filthy but beautiful tile floor so we then wore slippers inside all the time; also a few doors do not open/close easily or completely inside the condo and the big sliding door to the balcony was so heavy/hard to open & close, maybe needs grease or cleaning door-jamb); the kitchen area is modern & has everything you need; great to have 3 full bathrooms; lastly it was challenging on the 10 a.m. morning to check-out deadline to get all the towels washed and everything else done by 10 a.m. especially when the washing-machine & dryer (on normal mode, nothing special) take such a long long time to finish, so I had to wake up extra early that last morning to get all the jobs done and get out the door by 10 a.m., exhausting.

The online listing should have stated that this condo is a first-floor condo. Under this condo is an open garage. When the outside temperature is below 50 degrees the floors of condo are ice cold and water condescends on them because they are not insulated. Neither are the living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors which make those rooms cold as well. Water condenses on the sliding glass doors so you can't see out of them. There were a couple of extra quilts in the condo, but not enough to stay warm during the night. The king mattress needs to be replaced. The foam topper is thick so you roll into the middle of the mattress. The frame makes a loud noise when you roll over. The rule for the "heated pool" is that is unable to be heated more than 15 degrees over the temperature outside. Pool and spa were not cleaned during the entire time we stayed Christmas through New Year's. A large building is being built next door. Construction runs from 8 am - 5 pm every day. After nine horrible nights of sleep and not being able to use the pool most days, I asked for a partial refund because it was not worth nearly $460 per night. The best owner said he could do was to return the cleaning fee.

This condo was picture perfect, clean, and exceeded our needs. Modern with its 3br 3ba plan gave everyone privacy. Beautiful porch overlooking pool spa and water. Kitchen is well equipped. Very private. Loved our stay.

Our stay at Gary's condo was a great experience. The condo was exactly as described and was much bigger than the pictures show. We had everything that we needed and then some. It was a great location and quiet in the evening , even on a busy Labor Day weekend. Only a short 1 1/2 block walk to Gulfview Bld. The pool was nice, as well as the balcony which always got a nice breeze . The only negative was that the master bed could use some better pillows . We will not hesitate to rent this condo again next year - Thanks Gary and Taylor!!!

The location of this property was ideal. My only error in staying in Clearwater for a week was renting a car because after we arrived at the condo we didn’t use it until we drove back to the airport. Everything was walkable. The place was clean and was way bigger than it looks in the pictures. Excellent stay - highly recommend.

First let me say that I used to travel Florida as part of my first job in the nineties, and I always wanted to come back to Clearwater with my family at some point. This spectacular townhome not only exceeded my expectations, but it enabled six of us to completely unplug, distress, and enjoy each other’s company. This gorgeous and updated unit had a kitchen I loved! In fact, I cooked breakfast and lunch daily for everyone while we were here. The place is well-stocked and has so much room for storage and space to relax. We adored the balcony where we ate breakfast and enjoyed the crane who visited each morning in the waterway. We had family movie time each evening in the living room. The three bedrooms had their own bathrooms that accommodated us perfectly. Moreover, the laundry room was great! The location allowed us to have a nice walk to shopping, the beach, and restaurants. In fact, we rode our bikes to dinner a few of the nights here to better enjoy the area. The decor and the care put into the renovations of this home are fantastic. We also greatly appreciated the personal cabana at the pool that came with beach chairs, floats, etc on a handy beach cart. There simply are no words to adequately express the amazing time we had this week. Special thanks to owner Gary for making this place one-of-a-kind and to agent Taylor for answering questions and helping us. We hope to visit again in the near future.
