"Casa de Maíz" is a quaint home close to New Mexico State University, the Las Cruces Convention Center, and has access to downtown and Historic Mesilla. The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to a park where you can take your children or your dog(s). The home is a perfect stop on a cross-country trip or a place for temporary housing. The sunsets from the backyard are breathtaking. You will be inspired to go hiking while viewing the Organ Mountains from the front yard. The space The neighborhood is within walking and short driving distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Inside the entry of the house are maps and brochures of local hot spots. Guest access The entire house and front and back yards and patios are accessible to guests. Parking is in front of the house. Other things to note House has easy access to Interstates 10 (east /west corridor) and 25 going north towards Albuquerque.

We enjoyed our stay at this place. We did a college tour with friends and Casa de Maiz was located very close to NMSU. GG, our hostess, communicated with us quickly and added a very nice special touch to our weekend. The house is well stocked, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of places nearby to shop. It is a quiet neighborhood and easy to get to. Check out was easier than most places. We will stay here again and highly recommend it. Thanks GG for making it so awesome!

GG called in great communication. She will explain everything to you. Neighborhood was excellent, home was very clean. 3 bedrooms 2 baths. Had laundry room. Kitchen appliances you needed, great stay close to Pan American center. Restaurants close by. Definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again GG until next year.

Plenty of nice things to say about listing and how it lives up to it's description. Location, cleanliness, check-in, amenities, all 5 stars. Some stuff not in the listing that is massively underrated are a well detailed binder for your stay, labels everywhere, even labels telling you where to find what you are looking for if it's not where you expect, solid communication, and and a treat left for us upon checkin. It was a great experience and very solid value for the price. Highly recommend it!

This property was perfect for our needs. It was in great shape. Very clean and had whatever you could possible want - including several different coffee makers to make sure you had the type you wanted. The yard was fully fenced for our dogs and it was nice to sit out back on the porch area. There are a couple of wonderful little reading areas in the main bedroom (which is huge!) and the living room with super comfortable chairs and nice lighting. Honestly Gale and Tom thought of everything in outfitting this great place. It is definitely like a home away from home and I can't recommend it highly enough. We will definitely ask for it again if we are in Las Cruces.

The house was a lovely cool quiet oasis. This property was exactly as advertised. It has a great layout, well equipped kitchen , comfy beds and is in a beautiful little neighborhood right near NMSU. The restaurant recommendations steered us well. We loved walking around and looking at plants. Went to White Sands Monument for sunset which we really recommend. Gail was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again for sure if our kid chooses this university!

Spacious, well-provisioned, comfortable and a 3-minute drive to campus. This was a great base of operations for moving my daughter and her kitten to Las Cruces for the fall semester. Gail was very accommodating and communicative. I definitely recommend this property.
