Me and my wife thought that there weren't enough blankets the bathroom I had to get someone to service and turn it off the shower our TV didn't work and when my wife went down to ask for coffee they told her she had coffee in her room.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good food, good pantry options, convenient location for a great price. Really enjoyed the pool and music selection.

I would not come back to this hotel. The decor is outdated. No comforters on the beds, just white sheets. No smart tv to steam your devices! I got an email the day before stating 1 of the 2 elevators was done for refurbishment. The wait to use the elevator was sometimes 15 minutes due to overcrowding. I enjoyed the outside patio area with pool, fire tables and a few heaters.

Booked a stay and three weeks prior to stay found out we couldn’t go. I immediately contacted Hotels.com to cancel reservation or change the date of stay. I was tossed around by Hotels.com and Hilton hotel very disappointed since I regularly stay there.

Highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. They charge you $22 for parking and if you park anywhere outside of their hotel, you will get towed or a ticket. They charge you for breakfast when all the hotels provide breakfast nowadays. The rooms do not have refrigerators which is a huge inconvenience if you have kids. We had a huge soccer tournament and needed a place to keep food items from spoiling.

Overall clean and safe location. The girl who checked us in was friendly but didn’t offer a renovated room and the man helping the line was offering people the new rooms, but overall it was decent.

Lunch was so bad. Their portion and prices didn't match. The fruit bowl was so bad with grey fuzzy mold grapes & 1 and half strawberry, seriously. Definitely didn't have dinner, went out.

The property was OK but has major deficits in the following: 1- Hot water in the shower for 2 days of the 4 days we stayed in. 2- the menu for breakfast and dinner remained the same for the four days with very limited items on each.

Dirty hotel. The maid never came to clean the room or change the towels or make the bed. When I called front desk they weren’t even apologetic. Staff were rude. Construction going on on the 5th floor. Loud and cold. Elevators were awful. Would not recommend this hotel.

Property is completely unwilling to bend strict rules to refund or issue a credit for someone who is sick. I have COVID and their solution was for me to use keyless check-In to resolve the issue… indicating I should have gotten on a plane to get there and kept my reservation. I get we are not in the height of the pandemic any longer but they can and should be flexible. Shame on them.

We had some issues during the stay but the staff was helpful and ended up refunding us one night which was very considerate. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We liked the convenience and closeness of the area we wanted to stay in. We liked that it was easy to check-in and parking was easy. The only things we didn't like was the stench that was coming out of the drain. It probably was something we should've mentioned, but were not people that complain much. The other thing that was inconvenient was the movie options. We are unable to access our streaming services and even though, we would've been open to paying for movies that were being offered, it was disappointing that we were being charged a high premium for movies that are available on Netflix. Other than that, everything else is good and would recommend staying here again if you decide to stay in the area of Del Mar for a good price.

The Hilton app allowing guests to check-in and choose a room is great. It even gives you a digital key, so you can walk to your room straight. This Doubletree is poor though. Bathroom door not closing, carpet damaged majorly to the point that it is surprising they have not replaced it yet. Overall poor room condition, very average staff.

Very quiet and staff is always around for help. A big s/o to the housekeeping staff the best service and staff on the property.

Stay was ok, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only criticism is parking fee seemed excessive @ $20 per day, considering it wasn’t secured or covered. Also, I could smell the baked cookies that you’re known for but did not see them anywhere or offered one at any time during my 3 day stay.
