Pros-Conveniently located, comfortable beds, complimentary breakfast, waterslide and hot tub, good size rooms, great service Cons-Pillows were very uncomfortable, the breakfast area needs to be bigger, not enough parking. Nice hotel in Canmore, great if you have kids for the waterslide and pool. The free breakfast was nice but often crowded, the parking lot fills up fast. Overall a nice hotel for staying near Banff and the rooms and beds were comfortable.

I took my 12 year old grandaughter to Canmore to stay overnight. I chose the Pocaterra because of the water slide. The pool was very crowded and the hot tub had at least 15 people in it during the time we were there. There was no where to sit for breakfast. Very busy! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were pleasant! Overall, it was a good experience.

Booked last minute. Arrived late at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. And it is only a block from a fast charger for my electric car.

It's a great hotel for family. Clean, friendly staff and a nice filling Breakfast! Kids loved the pool and waterslide although chlorine levels were quite high and several kids adults mentioned it bothering them.

I was very pleased with my stay here. Reception was friendly and check-in went smoothly. My room was clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Nice to have breakfast included. The hot tub and pool area was well maintained. I also very much appreciated the easy access off the highway from Banff.

Not as outstanding as the reviews show. Upon arrival I noticed the bathroom sink was clogged, mini fridge wasn't working properly, shower head pressure very low, bathtub drain also clogged. The location of this hotel is noisy due to a noisy railroad. I asked if there was a quiet room, was told my room was in a quiet location. Breakfast was great as well as the front desk staff. Elevators are a bit old. Parking is very limited. This hotel was packed with children, I never got a chance to enjoy the hot tub. If you don't mind children all over the place, this is a good option.

We've have stayed here many times and keep coming back. We had a beautiful room with a balcony and fireplace. The rooms are clean and cozy. Breakfast included with gluten free options! The pool is always warm and waterslide. The hot tub was super hot. It's always a great stay

Nice pool with slide and got tub. Good hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, yogurt, potatoes, coffee and juice. Beautiful view of the mountains. Friendly staff. A sauna too!

Stayed here for two nights. Plenty of space in the room. My two concerns for this hotel is they need to have the breakfast start time at 6:30 a.m. rather than 7:00 a.m. to assist those who are going to work. At 7 a.m. it was quite busy. In saying that, the breakfast was great. Secondly, the gymnasium needs an update. It could use a bench or a chair for people to sit when recovering. Will come again in the future.

Loved that the floors were hardwood and not carpeting. Carpeting hides so many nasties. Loved the provision of Rocky Mountain Soap toiletries, promotion of an excellent product. Hooked on it.

Great place to stay. Only complaint is it tends to be somewhat noisy. You can hear your neighbors quite easily. Lots of doors banging shut especially in the mornings with housekeeping.

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! Front desk staff were not helpful when asked questions. I had to ask for my free bottle of wine, and it was slapped on the counter in front of me. I asked for my free upgrade if it was available and told I didn't qualify for one. I showed them my reservation and they said it wasn't showing on their screen so it wasn't available. I wasn't told anything about a free breakfast even though my reservation said it was included. Went to the pool and it was so chlorinated that even been in the area made your eyes burn. Went to have a shower and the plug was rusty. One thin blanket on the bed and the sheets weren't even tucked under the mattress, they were just thrown on. Will not stay there again.

We travelled as a family with small kids. We love the fact that there is a water slide in the hotel. Kids had so much fun. Free breakfast was excellent with the variety of options. Staff were very attentive and helpful to our needs and requests.

10/10 for service/staff, cleanliness, upkeep, & comfort. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Always clean (this is our 2nd stay here). Excellent beddings. Nice working fireplace. We were given a room with an amazing view. Bottle of wine as a wrlcome gift for VIP expedia guest. Much appreciated. Rocky mountain soap co toiletries was a bonus. Hot Tub was Hot, Clean and larger than normal hotel hot tub. Pool area with water was cleaning & fun for kids. Easy parking. Access from front and back of hotel. Breakfast was 8/10 a little room for improvement but not bad in general. The staff are 5 stars. So quick to respond to any needs. They are all lovely. Everyone from front end to housekeeping is amazing. Keep up the good work!!!! Highly reccomended for family.

We liked the water slide and pool, but it was very busy. The room we were in was quite noisy. We were also given a bottle of wine but we do not drink. The staff would not accommodate any exchange.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean. The fireplace kept turning off and I think it is set up to be this way. The room was a little cool at night and we didn't have any blanket to warm up. The breakfast was okay but a little limited in the food option. Sometimes there was not enough food or nothing left in the pot.

Liked that it was pet friendly! Did not like the private room location. It was located across hallway from room 105 and staff would let the door slam shut at 6:00am in the morning. They would also wash dishes early morning that was very noisy and wake us up.
