Employee tried to charge me 60$ extra because I spelled like black and mild smoke and she automatically thought I was smoking in the room and I told her numerous of times to go check the room yourself I don’t smoke in rooms almost had a whole argument until she changed her mind

The manager on duty was friendly at first, I originally reserved a non smoking room but I decided to change to smoking because of my friend but once we got to room it was horrible. Carpet was torn, the lounge chair had stains so I asked for non smoking room. He was rude and told me I need to pay $60 deposit, so I did but when we left I made sure he checked the room to make sure I wouldn’t have a problem getting my deposit back. Breakfast was limited. We asked for extra towels and he was rude about that. The bed was comfortable. The only way I will stay at this place again is if there were no other rooms available.

Ambassador Inn & Suites Tuscaloosa is a good clean hotel but I couldn’t watch the television. My television was broken so my stay wasn’t so good.

Bed not as comfortable as expected, although area is quiet and safe. Breakfast was a little bleak. Overall, even money for your stay if you like safe and quietness.

Nice comfortable bed, good tv selection. Will easily be my go to when I am in Tuscaloosa in the future. The room rivals one of the more expensive hotels in the area for almost a 1/3 of the price. Only complaints was the front desk person talked low and with his thick accent I had no idea what he was saying and our keys quit working (probably not a hotel thing)

Was impressed with this place. The hotel looks like it was recently painted and carpeting looked fairly new. Everything was in great condition and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My room was very clean and the bed was comfy. I didn't check out breakfast, so can't comment on that. Would definitely stay here again.

We found a HUGE COCKROACH crawling in our room. My daughter was scared and I was grossed out, so we packed our stuff up and checked out a day early. The front desk never apologized. Management never refunded the night we did not stay. I am beyond disguisted with the whole experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I was very surprised to see it was very clean and easy to check in. Went to the game so it was centrally located. Only headache was as our neighbor's above us did not want to do to sleep when we did.

We chose this hotel primarily because it didn't allow pets. I have had dogs in the past, really like them, but I don't like to cohabit in the same bedroom. The hotel was nice for the price. The only thing I didn't really like was the breakfast. Very limited and the coffee was out of a machine. However, that being said, we didn't choose the hotel for the breakfast. We just ate elsewhere. All being said, we would stay there again if we were in the Tuscaloosa area again.
