Wonderful location and great staff. Would have loved more attentive turn down/cleaning services. Had to also get the dolly independently anytime. Otherwise, complimentary breakfast was great and pool was nice (when not crowded).

Rooms are convenient and the area felt safe. The breakfast was awful: they ran out of the food, dishes, and the food was not tasty.

The TV didnt not work in the first room we went to. After 30 minutes of the Engineer trying to connect it we asked for another room. We were given another room, 3 floors higher so I was happy with that. But I could never get the Wifi to connect to my phone and the cell reception inside the hotel is terrible. All in all not a bad place, but for a Marriott hotel I expect more.

Comfortable beds, easy parking under the hotel.

Excellent service, room was comfortable and quiet, tons of great nearby restaurant options. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location and service but some of the furnishings are quite worn and should be replaced. We asked for a room change based on this and we're promptly given one. Good breakfast, safe neighborhood and clean. Better 3-star experience all on all.

This is a great place to stay if ever going to D.C. The Metro is a few blocks away and takes you right to the heart of the city where all the museums are situated. Parking is under the hotel but you do have to pay a daily rate. Many great places to eat within walking distance.

Biggest surprise was a front desk guy name John (if I remember correctly). Super polite and very helpful human being. Thanks a lot!!!

We were allowed to check in a few minutes early, which was a plus because we were exhausted from our drive and visit of a local museum in DC. The front desk clerk was very cheerful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He informed my husband and I of all of the available amenities and he raved about the great free breakfast that we could take advantage of in the morning. Having experienced many hotels with very minimalistic continental breakfasts we were skeptical. To our delight, the breakfast was incredible and the staff made us feel right at home! We enjoyed our stay very much. The one thing that the hotel could do to make experiences better is to install easily adjustable registers on the air conditioner / heat vents. The vent in our room was positioned to blow directly on the bed and had no lever to easily redirect the airflow in a different direction. Outside of that, or stay was perfect.

Very clean and organized. Good service. Excellent to go with your family!

We were visiting Washington DC and decided to stay in Arlington and take the Metro into town. Great decision! Arlington is beautiful!! Very walkable city, lots of great restaurants and the metro is a way better option then driving and parking in DC. The Residence Inn was a great hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This is our fourth stay in the past couple years. The front desk staff at night is awesome !! It’s nice to return and see the friendly smiling gentlemen there. It’s like coming home. The rooms are bright and views are great

Staff were friendly and on the ball. Very clean. Short walking distance to many restaurants. A big park for kids is across the street. Underground parking garage was very convenient and useful.

Don't get me wrong. The room was good and everything but the ceiling fan didn't work, and they're a little issues like the plug coming out the wall. But it also looks like they just had got done remodeling. Their breakfast was pretty good too

The staff always had a smile and a positive attitude. Very clean and good location. Would stay here again if I was in the area. Parking was $28 a day in the basement garage.

Nice quiet hotel, excellent beds, breakfast not great, slow elevators but will stay here again.

Front desk staff was exemplary, from the day shift’s check in to the night crew providing plates and cutlery for our impromptu gathering in the lobby. 🤗

Family stay( 3 kids 3,8,10)to visit DC attractions. Close to main road into DC. We had a suite which had kitchen, table fridge and microwave. Nice hot breakfast included. Dominoes pizza right outside. Parking garage was extra but right below hotel. Pool was smaller but fine for us. Will stay here again if in the area.

Very clean and comfortable. Got a free upgrade when we checked in. Had a great view of the city. Had free breakfast the entire time and it was delicious. Great location. Safe area, walked a lot late at night and had zero problems.

There was nothing negative about the hotel. The staff was amazing, the room was clean, there were plenty of dining options. Metro stations are within walking distance.
Parking is paid but convenient.

A very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. The only negative is the $28 per night fee for parking.

Clean hotel near great restaurants and metro. Breakfast is decent though "hot" options for vegetarians/vegans is limited. There is daily oatmeal and way to make waffles. Internet was surprisingly not working the entire stay for some unknown reason, so I could not telework. Staff very nice.

Our stay was good. The staff was friendly and the hotel common areas were clean. The neighborhood felt very safe for walking and the Metro station was two blocks away. It is a pet-friendly hotel and looks like our room sustained some damage from a past pet. The bureau in the second bedroom was chewed on. The drapes had some holes in them. The kitchen chairs showed wear and the freezer had dents in it. None of this effected the function of the room and we had a great stay. The pool is very small, but has a lifeguard on duty. There is no hot tub.

First time visiting D.C. and we tried to find a place that is within our budget. The hotel/room is super clean and quiet; shower and bed are very comfortable; very easy to get in/out the parking garage (which is connected to the hotel, and it's not crowded), the overnight parking fee is affordable. It is close to the highway and we drove (short ride) to D.C. everyday and stayed there all day for sight seeing. Staff are polite, we also used the pool area (a bit small) and the gym room. There is a small park located on the opposite side of the hotel, morning/evening walk is great. Supermarket is close by, and there are many restaurants near by, can definitely find one you like!

Pros: Great location. Breakfast was okay.
Cons: Poor upkeep of room and facilities

Room was perfect. Clean, comfortable beds and very quiet. Only problem was one of the outlets next to the bed did not work so I could not charge my devices close by. There is a clock next to the bed but it’s so dark, you can’t see the time.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and attentive; our room was spacious, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was decently equipped but for a room that accommodates up to 6 people there were not enough dishes/utensils and the 2 pots included with the kitchen were rather small. Daily breakfast was on par with other comparable chains we've stayed in. Everything was very clean and orderly. I needed a few things during our stay - an extra blanket, extra pillow, and a plunger (!). Each time I texted the Avvi assistant I got exactly what I needed promptly delivered to our room. Also, I really appreciated how quiet our room was! Great location in Arlington; about a 7 minute walk to nearest Metro station. Felt very safe to walk around the neighborhood, even late at night. Great playground across the street from the hotel for kids of all ages!

We reserved a suite with 2 suites with 2 queen and hotel appointed us 2 suites with a king instead. This was VERY disappointing given the 4 guests staying in a single hotel room. Residence Inn claims this is the he fault of hotel.com and would not accommodate.

Unfortunately we did not have hot water in our room through duration of our stay. We brought it up to front desks attention numerous times and they advised that it was fixed on day two but it was not the case. On the last day we have been given a key to another room to have a hot shower by one of female manager - it was much appreciated. One of the evening managers said that we will be given a one night discount for the inconvenience and we mentioned that it was prepaid and got told that its not a problem but during the check out we were told that no discount will be given. Property also lacks cooking utensils, we had to ask for frying pan and pots to be able to cook as apartment has cooking facility. Also no kettle available to make tea and could not be provided.

The hotel is nicely decorated, the in room kitchen is nice but the beds are very uncomfortable. The pool hours are so short that it’s impossible to actually experience it. Very disappointed and upset. We booked this hotel bc of its pool.
