Wasn't a bad spot for a night the beds were nice. They could have used a TV in the bedrooms.

Great deal. The town is amazing, and this hotel rents out a whole lodge for each person. Really cool. And working fireplaces!

The charming cottages are modernized but inside there is a perfectly balanced comfort factor and classical taste. Nothing was left to be desired...Absolutely worth the reasonable rate and perfectly located in Manitou Springs. The family run business is so far my favorite stay now in this area. Great, courteous service and 100% clean and cozy.

If you are looking for nostalgia this hotel takes you right back to the 50's. It was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a touristy old time place and the El Colorado certainly provided it. We will stay here again when we come to Manitou Springs.

They had my check in ready, great look overall mountain feel which is getting more rare,,,the room was a single and certainly was the perfect rustic snug..

enjoyed very much. spacious, awesome beds. the shower could use help and the water kept getting cold. unfortunately the fireplace was out of order which was one main reason we chose this place. other than that we would stay there again.

Good location. Close to lots of local activities. But rooms are older and outdated. Check-in is outdated. Booked room through Expedia, but front desk did not have it!

This place is fine if you don't need any modern conveniences. Place would be so much better with some upgrades.We stayed in a cabin that was directly across from the lobby and could not get any WiFi. We literally had to sit in a chair in front of the lobby to get any WiFi. Our cabin was a two bedroom with a kitchen in between the rooms. There was only one air conditioning unit in one bedroom. That room had to stay a little colder than the other room since the cooled air had to travel through the kitchen to get to the other room. On the plus, it is close to everything. This place has so much potential if it had some small upgrades.

We stayed here 3 nights. No real complaints. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little stale smelling...no biggie a few sprays of some air freshener and open door took care of that. The beds were not as comfortable as I would like but we all slept alright. The area is convenient to eating and local shopping and amazing views of the mountains and we felt safe. Overall it was pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

The rooms are little pueblos. The sheets in our rooms were all random style/print bed sheets and some had stains, but the sheets were clean. I was a really neat place and the staff was very friendly!

The room was old, dirty and the carpet has never been cleaned, smelled horrible. This hotel urges to be cleaned and renovated. When we arrived there was nobody at the front desk, we waited and waited until I decided to call their phone and told them we where at the reception, then a non friendly person came to the front. The location is good. Bad bad experience, never coming back.

A bit run down, old and out dated. Major road construction right in front of the hotel was loud and made it hard to get in and out. Not the hotels fault but should have been advised. Pool looked clean. The room was clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at El Colorado. I'm going back soon and taking the wife and kids so they can stay there also. Really neat little Adobe huts. Pool and hot tub were clean .

Liked the adobe southwestern flar. Room was quite despite holiday traffic. Staff were all friendly. Room was clean. Lodge centrally located to every place we visited. We would stay here again.

It's really hard to say I mean I enjoyed it it's just the quaters were cramped and the beds in the room we had were very uncomfortable I no its old but you can keep up with the comforts. The staff was great all of them..
