The hotel was located about a 5 minute walk to the casinos and restaurants. The beach is just a street over as well. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great and so is the coffee. Our room was spacious and decorated really nicely.

The room has musty odor and body soap dispenser was empty. Had to use shampoo for my body too😪 Room was overrated. The receptionist was great though!

They put us in the renovation side across the street which had power equipment and construction noise until
6pm. Not the best experience. Inside the room the walls were all scratched up from chairs.

Such a cute hotel! I loved the fire pit and the smore kits. Really comfortable bed. Super close to everything without being in everything. Highly recommend.

First time visiting Lake Tahoe, staff was friendly. Great location. Short distance to the lake and to Heavenly Plaza. Everything was walking distance. It snowed most of our stay but it was perfect. Rooms were clean we had a standard room. Took us a bit to figure out the AC/Heating since they were two separate units otherwise it was great. Would recommend to family and friends.

We were prevented from traveling on our arrival day by a severe unexpected blizzard and Caltrans snow restrictions. Rather than charge only the deposit, they chose to charge the full room rate. They could have displayed some understanding and consideration given the extreme circumstances but did not. I will not return to the property and I would urge others to stay away from a business that operates in this manner.

Very tiny room and poorly barely functional fridge. TV randomly turned on in the middle of the night. Must be a other guest trying to watch TC close by. There was no table to speak of to put anything anywhere. Very poor value. No microwave in the room either.

Great location and facility. Love the amenities. Don't run out of s'mores!

The cutest hotel! I can’t wait to go back to Tahoe in warmer months and stay there again. They had s’mores every night from 7-9! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Great bar selection as well.

Overall this hotel was very cute and family oriented however a few things just made it average and not great enough to come back. Upon check in the receptionist was very short, not very welcoming. The staff did not inform of us of anything going on at the hotel- s’mores, breakfast hours, pool hours and amenities. The room shampoo and soap dispensers did not work and the shower water was always luke warm. Probably wouldn’t come back for the price

The best hotel!

Walking distance to Heavenly Village which has tons of restaurants. They have free s‘mores at night, the pool is heated. There’s a kitchen with free coffee and hot chocolate. But they have poor customer service. Front desk advised she will text us when room was ready but never did. When we returned and I mentioned she never texted us, she totally ignored what I said. Front desk person also talked to another guest stating she’s the only one working there that morning and was banging dishes in the kitchen. There’s a bar but drink options were limited. No toilet paper in the room. Overall, the staff were not friendly. This place is overrated.

The staff was rude and had an attitude, maybe because it was Christmas Day there was only one staff that was nice which was the manager. The room overall was good though no complaints there.

The heat pump produced a Toad-like sound with the fan, which makes it very difficult to sleep.

Loved:
- free smores and outdoor fireplace
- free hot drinks
- warm toilet seats
- comfy beds
- eco-friendly soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion (smell so good)
- microwave and toaster available at the lobby
Wished they had:
- continental breakfast
- firmer pillows
- better soundproofing (we could hear footsteps from guests staying upstairs)

The staff at The Coachman Hotel made our stay unforgettable! They went above and beyond to make this birthday trip so special! Thank you! The room was lovely and clean, overall really nice. The lights were a little dim for our liking, but honestly no real complaints. We'll be back again!

The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable. We enjoyed the s’mores at night and the games on hand so we could hang out with our kids. We’re definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Ideally located to walk around and enjoy local restaurants, entertainment and scenery. Handy walking distance access to the beach added bonus.

The false fire alarm was triggered multiple time on 10/8 early morning from 1am to 3am. The whole family had a terrible experience today. There was no escalation process available for this hotel staff to use.

Noisy property if you’re not on the top floor, you can hear people walking very loudly. Requested a top floor but they did not accommodate said Travelocity would’ve had to do that. Also, if you’re sensitive to loud heating units, they are loud when they turn on during the night

This hotel was really inviting and clean. The staff was very friendly. I loved the courtyard and roof top deck. We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable. Although the room was dark, we liked the decor. We enjoyed the free drink you got upon check in. Their coffee was so good every morning. The only negative we had was because we were on a bottom floor. You could hear every step in the room above us. We would stay again but would make sure we got a top floor.

We stayed at The Coachman a couple of weeks ago. The room was clean and roomy. We had a few small issues when we first arrived and the staff was quick to respond to these in a positive manner. The property manager William and one of the employees at the front desk (I didn’t catch her name, but she was working all 3 days we were there) were especially helpful. The outdoor areas are wonderful and inviting. The hotel was in a very walkable area. We would stay again if we returned to SLT.

Exceptional customer service, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great little bonuses like chap stick in the room and nightly s'mores around the firepit.

I like the amenities of the property.

We stayed in a standard room one night and it was just okay. The sub par experience was the noise from other rooms. It’s not well insulated so you can hear when anyone walks around above or on the same level. That being said, everything was clean and well stocked. The bed was kinda falling apart on one side which made it uncomfortable for one side of the bed. I would stay here again but not at a higher rate ($120/night).

Some of the staff were very rude and acted as if you were bothering them whenever you had a question or needed something. Everything closes down at 10pm from the fire pit to the pool. One night, before it was even 10pm they had the doors locked so we stood by the door because there were three employees inside and they just looked at us and made us wait 5 minutes before actually coming to see what we needed. Room was very nice beds are very comfy just problems with the staff.
