We got disturbed at 5:30 pm. They knocked on our door to come in and do renovations. They shouldn’t be doing that when they have guests in the room. We drove all day and got undressed and was relaxing. Had to get up and get dressed and all they did was put up a towel rack.I got up next morning to make coffee and there was a used filter still in coffee pot. Then I went to take a shower and no shampoo or conditioner and also a used soap bar still in bathroom. Unsure if they even cleaned bathroom. I had another night booked but decided to cancel.

One of the better Motel 6’s I’ve stayed in EVER.

I booked two rooms. There was stuff in the toilet in one room and dirty sheets in the other. My reservation was for two rooms and they said I only booked one room so I had to get another at the desk then I was charged for three rooms.

The bedding smells like they need to be washed. The restrooms need a good cleaning as well as the towles. I went to get some coffee, breakfast and sat in the lounge area with my earbusds and phone when I was approached by a man; black t-shirt, black shorts and black flip-flops. The man was asking me who I was, why was I sitting there and was I staying in the hotel; was very agressively. I asked him if he was an employee and what was his tiltle, stated that he was the manager/owner; did not have a name tag, hotel logo and was not dressed like someone whom was working ata hotel. I showed him my key card and it wasn’t enough for him he wanted to know my room number. He proceeded to demand what my room number was and stated that I might be a homeless person. At that point I let him know that I was a paying customer and his approach is very aggressive. His wife came out because I did raise my voice when he stated I may be homeless person. At no point did they apologize once they knew I was a customer. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

I was traveling with my dog, which was good accommodations, though it wasn’t the best of hotels it was the suffice, a problem I had was they charge a $40 animal deposit that was supposed of been refundable, they put a hold on my $40 and did not release it. Therefore I will be contacting them about my $40.

This place was needed only for sleeping and showering. The hotel attendant was kind. Hotel appears to be in a remodel? Paint smell. The room heater worked well. The grounds were lit and safe. Water temp and pressure were good. Very quiet. I don’t think I saw another person in the 4 days I was there but 10-15 vehicles were parked outside.
The room was strange. TV was mounted on a laminate structure and faced away from the bed. Not impossible but awkward to watch TV. The laminate was peeling/falling off the small dining table and the TV structure. The mini fridge was stored underneath the little dining table. When you sat down you’d kick the back of the fridge. Just odd.
All these things weren’t important as I just wanted to sleep and shower. They initially provided two bars of soap and a couple towels & wash cloths. Ok, I’ll work with that.
On the 2nd day they cleaned the room, made the bed, etc. Well, they took away our only two little slivers of soap and didn’t replace the dirty towels. Sheesh. I went down and could not find an attendant. My husband and I laughed about drying off with a shared hand towel. Not the end of the world, but worth noting for others.
Last Day… It was 7am and husband started loading stuff into the car, etc while I continued to get ready so, he didn’t lock the door manually from the interior. Suddenly a key card clicked and someone is walking in our room! Arrg. Maybe the attendant bringing towels and soap we need days ago? 😊

Got to the motel at about 4 PM to find that Ms. Patel (the owner) had cancelled my reservation on the 14 of October without letting me know. We stayed there on the 4th of November. When I asked the man there why she would do this, he said he didn't know. I said why don't you call and ask. He did but did not say what she said. He wanted to give me the room for the going rate and I told him I reserved the room in March and wanted the rate that was promised to me. He finally did it. The motel wasn't full so I guess she decided to give it to me for the price that I reserved it for. It is my speculation that this weekend was the Rally of Texas and she thought she could get more for the room than I had been charged. Other than that the stay was fine. The motel was clean and I had a good nights sleep. Don't think I will stay here again. Put a bad taste in my mouth. We stay in Galveston about every three months.

Upon checkin, signs of poor costumer service were in play…two in my party and was given a single key…had to ask for another. Room keys failed to work and front desk clerk was unapologetic nor grateful I chose this place to stay!
Room was dirty…bathroom was filth, towels stained and appeared to be unsanitary.
No amenities, no coffee at times stated, very limited vending machine choices. Just no.

The check-in started well enough, the ladies at the front desk were friendly and customer oriented. The problem came when the young, incompetent man took over. He gave one of our party a room card to an occupied room. When we went back down he started to argue that the room couldnt be occupied because the computer said they were supposed to be checked out. But when you see personal items strewn around the room, its a bit obvious. (And a bit scary wondering if that ever happened to one of your rooms.)
None of the ice machines worked and when told, the young man gave scarcely any indication he heard.
We returned later on and found that the room that the computer had said was empty had indeed been emptied by the hotel staff tossing all of the items into the hallway...not in a storage closet, just in the public walkway.
At bedtime we discovered that our bed was missing sheets. I went to the front desk and was told that by both the male employees that they were eating and I can come back in 10-15 minutes. I told them my room number and asked if they could be brought up. I was told again to come back so I told them they would bring them to me. The younger male agreed as the older one opened his mouth to argue. Twenty minutes later we received a call to see if we had our sheets, no we didn't. Ten more minutes and the older male brought them up and then made some comment about if I could make a bed. The nerve, the audacity...I said thank you and walked away.

We arrived Thursday night and from desk clerk had a not so friendly attitude, next day no one clean the room and remove the trash, it took 2 days for the room to have some one come in and remove towels, trash was left in the room and I had to go down to the front desk to ask for new set of towels, throughout the week the lobby smell like weed everyday.

Booked a room with 2 beds. We ended up with a room with 1 bed. Cleanliness of the rooms was not good. The property seems to be a new one but it’s not upkept with cleaning.

Jason (I believe) works front desk & is very unprofessional, this worker opened the door to our room after only knocking once, (I breastfeed & was doing so when this occurred) so it was a very uncomfortable experience. There was cockroaches in the bathroom, sand in the shower floor, do not recommend staying here, we will not be going back.

Terrible property. Rude staff. I have no idea how they have 8/10 rating. Hairs in bed & bathroom doorknob fell off. They told me to go check a 2nd room when I complained. Same thing…hairs in bed. Disgusting. So I went downstairs and told him the second room was unacceptable also. They told me they were sorry that their good housekeeper was out sick. They refused to refund my money. I spent over an hour on the phone with Orbitz before my call was disconnected. I will never book with Orbitz again nor will I ever stay at this motel six

The hotel was nice, the room set up was not good. The location was nice for the activities we had planned. There was no space for your items. The microwave was on the table and the fridge was under the table making it difficult to use the table. The shower looked dirty and the bathroom door is in need of repair. There was no hair dryer or tissues.

Bed sheets and shower curtains were stained

Air conditioner vents (intake and outflow) were filthy. I can only wonder about the filter. It was greatly convenient and affordable for an overnight stay in the area. I'd stay overnight again. Great that there was no charge for my dog. I really appreciated the instant refund of my cash pet deposit.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay experience of my lifer 45 years of staying in hotels and I have never had to call the police to get 2 towels to shower with The Indian lady running the office late Sat night is the rudest most unexperienced unprofessional human I have ever come into contact with. we got in at 9:35 pm Friday checked in and stayed the night me my wife son and his friend. for the day Sat early stayed gone all-da got back to the room late Sat night around midnight we noticed we have no towels in the room so my wife went down to ask front desk where she waited nearly 30 mins to have someone show up after calling several times this i where the Indian foreign lady came finally we asked if we could get 4 towels to the room to shower with the foreign lady became extremely violet and disrespectful when we asked for towels and demanded we must leave the room and kicked us out of the hotel because the reservation she claim only showed 3 person when we had 4 person in the room She refused to stay calm and discuss the issue only threaten to call the cops if we didnt pay more for the extra person ( remind you this is the 2nd night we stayed here) she acted as she called the cops buy apparently and only demamded if we wanted towels we would have to pay more. I myself did finally call the police to come to the property for the way the lady was treating us. I asked to speak to the owner I asked to have a refund for the night, and nothing was done we were forced leave.

It was a convenient place to stay before I cruise. It lacked a swimming pool. Fortunately, it had restaurants nearby because no breakfast was provided. We felt safe. No room TV remote. Front desk staff did not seem adequately trained.

Check in was understandable, we were a hour early. Both fridges didnt work, the doors and walls were grimey, the remote for the tv didnt work and half the lights worked when they wanted to. No one came and changed the sheets, took trash or brought new towels. We bought pillows because they didnt have any more and washed their towels so we would have some for showers. We checked out a day early and we were told that we couldn't check out eariler then 11 so we killed time for almost 2 hours only to be told we were checked out when we came back to check out. So our plan for heading back was a bust.

We ran out of toliet paper and no one was at the front desk to give us more. We also didn’t have clean towels to shower with. The owners live onsite so not sure why we couldn’t get a hold of anyone. There was a note left to call if help was needed. We called 5 times and motel6 customer service called several to times.

First of all I’m not one to normally leave reviews but felt it was needed after one night. Upon arrival the there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana from the individuals smoking just outside the door, this smell continued throughout the hotel. During check in it was apparent no one is ever at the front desk day or night, unless bell is rang. Room again smelled like marijuana, which was followed by observing doors and walls to clearly never be cleaned. Linens and such were cleaned and satisfactory. The beds however felt like springs for a truck covered with a thin fabric. Worst mattress I’ve ever felt. On top of the mattress the constant yelling throughout the hotel all night ensured no sleep. Wife woke up during the night to use restroom and was greeted by friendly roaches throughout the bathroom. End of the day next time I’ll stay on the beach or bed of my truck before coming back.
