Loved staying here with my yoga retreat group. The staff were very kind/accommodating, and the location could not have been better. Although it was a few steps away from Thapae gate, it was on a quiet and safe street. Lots of great restaurants, temples nearby and the night market is only about a 15 minute walk. The food was okay and pool looked very clean at all times. I especially loved sunrise and sunsets on the balcony of hotel as well as the attention to detail from the staff. Will definitely be back!!

Highly Recommend this resort in the middle of Chiang Mai. The staff was amazing. Customer service was above and beyond. The breakfast was also very delicious. The only negative was that I thought the shower could have been a little cleaner in between the tiles where the grout is. Otherwise a wonderful stay at a beautiful property, and would recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Away Chiang Mai was such a lovely hotel with such a sweet staff that truly made my stay amazing. I stayed here with my sister on our last night in Thailand. We chose the swim up pool room option which was so refreshing to wake up to. I arrived early and was so thankful they were able to accommodate my early check in. The breakfast was delicious with many options, enjoy the local fruit! Dream, the wonderful hotel concierge, made my stay over the top. She was so very sweet and let us know about the free yoga class the resort offered. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Currently the hotel only serves breakfast & lunch which should have been highlighted upon check-in. This is a bad experience when I wanted to dine-in for dinner and found the cafe is closed.

Great Hotel at perfect location in central Chiang Mai

The air conditioner was so loud. The light bolt was flashing. The floor wasn’t clean. Hear the noise all night from outside

I first stayed at Away Chiang Mai the week they opened, tried two room types, and have been a fan of the resort ever since. Kat and her staff are top notch professionals, always friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating with odd requests. As a repeat guest I was offered a Thai massage at their spa, which was lovely, and the restaurant is one of the best in the city for plant-based food. Get the included breakfast. Some days, you can even make your own fresh pressed juices. It’s worth it! Bathrooms are stocked with eco friendly soap and lotion dispensers. I tried to convey the water could be hotter, but the mermaid-sized tub makes up for it. Please note: Due to reduced tourism post lockdown, Moreganic is only open for breakfast (guests only) and lunch. Dinners are ordered as room service provided by Goodsouls. I didn’t order in, but a friend did, and she said that went fine. Plenty of other dinner options nearby, including Vegan Heaven and May Kaidee. Also recommended is Blue Orchid for a 1 hr facial massage with (5-6) masks applied. Several good silver shops and tailors mixed in with expat bars on the same street as Vegan Heaven. The pool was nicely heated and felt refreshing even in the heat. Umbrellas are provided for the rainy season. Away has everything you need for a fabulous stay in CM!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The amenities were disappointing. Towels and robes had holes in them. The king bed was two mattresses put together. Uncomfortable. The room didn’t feel clean. A bit disappointing given it’s one of the more expensive place in that area.

Great Location was walking distance to 3 night markets. All the staff were very attentive and made my stay very enjoyable!

Beautiful modern Lana style boutique hotel. Room is spacious. And we like the white and blue colour theme decor., The pool is small but sufficient for a dip and sun bath. We got upgraded to a a larger room. Next time we might try pool direct access room. Location is convenient, 5 mins to old city. It’s a lovely respite, yet close to everything. Staff are wonderful and helpful. Only had breakfast, not your typical over the top buffet, it was light and sufficient for us. It’s vegetarian healthy food after all. There’s daily complementary activities like fruit carving, garland making etc daily but requires 1 day advance booking, so book before u arrive. Overalll we loved the beautiful hotel and mist of all clean. I have already recommended my friends already.

家族で滞在しました。 ターペー門から徒歩圏内で、立地が非常によい。 近くにレストラン、カフェなどもある静かな場所です。ホテルの人がオススメしてくれた近くのGardenというレストランでランチを食べましたが、どれもリーズナブルで美味しく、特にパッタイ、マンゴージュースが美味しかった。 ホテルは洗練されたシンプルなデザインで、サービスも良かったです。清潔です。非常に気が利くスタッフAlexさん、娘が非常に喜んでいました。本当にありがとうございました。 朝ごはんはベジタリアン料理ですが、ベジタリアンでない私たちも美味しくお腹いっぱい頂けました。生野菜、ジュース、パスタ、パン、ヨーグルト、ソーセージっぽいもの…ゆったりとした洗練されたスペースで朝の時間をゆっくりと過ごせました。 Dear Alex, thank you for your great hospitality and kindness during our stay, especially to our daughter. A very good living environment. It stood out in the area. A lot of attractions are in the walking distance. Each room also has a balcony. Good privacy and quiet.

Excellent overall. Its on-site restaurant is the best vegan restaurant in this neighborhood, and breakfast is included as a part of the package. The hotel is within walking distance to Chiang Mai Night Bazaar and other attractions.

We stayed 5 nights at this very nice vegetarian hotel in a very convenient position. The family room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a nice choice of dishes and with great service. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to chiang mai.

You dont have to be a vegetarian to love this resort! The rooms are spacious and clean - the staff is incredible, and the breakfast was my favorite of all the resorts we visited. Highly recommend.
