The staff were great, very helpful, very friendly. The entertainment staff did a very nice job for the Superbowl and for Valentine's Day. Victor did a very nice job with the ping pong tournament. Very fun. The dive shop was closed for our entire stay so I was not able to get snorkeling equipment. Quite disappointing given how great the snorkeling is purported to be. One restaurant was closed. Only three options for dinner so lot of repeats over a one week stay. The menus at the open restaurants did not change over the week. The quality of the food was good at the beginning of the week but declined as the week went on - overcooked meats and fish. Often the food served was cold or luke warm. We felt sorry for the few staff working large dining areas. We were given a different room than what we booked and never received what we paid for. We booked at added expense Deluxe Ocean View and got view of the air conditioning units with an Island View. The management after some argument gave us a certificate to petition Expedia for a reimbursement. I have submitted a request and am waiting for a response. For our trouble the management gave us vouchers for the restaurant that was closed for the entire week.

Beautiful beach. Not a traditional Dreams property - needs some updates for that.

Property is old with no upgrades. Limited eating options, only 2 restaurant choices for dinner. NO dinner buffet. Great staff. Friendly and attentive bar staff.
No acknowledgment ( champagne and chocolates) of two birthdays in my room until the day before departing even after speaking with several staff members.

The receptionist once I got to the property forgot about me when checking me in. I asked for a queen bed and got two twins. The housekeeping was never equipped with enough products. They never had enough towels. They left food plates in my room days at end. When calling for assistance they don't pick up. One day room service took a hour and a half and no apology. The staff seemed unhappy and food was ubpar and really hot. There was ants on the beach.I lost a bag at the bar and they stated they will follow up with me but didn't. I had to follow up with them two days after.

Overall it was great hotel. The only feedback would be to have more variety for breakfast, supply more towels and let people have late checkouts for free if needed.

Check in is a head ache, they will not turn the room in on time.
Rooms are incorrectly cleaned everyday, always something would be missing (never refilled drinks, not all towels replaced and not everything taken by the service personnel).
Staff is NOT friendly or accommodating.
Food is bad. Restaurant service is slow.

We chose Dreams Curaçao for our honeymoon and we’re so glad we did! It was a quick 10 minute trip from the airport and once we arrived check in was quick and easy.
Our room was a King Pool View and was much more spacious than we anticipated with a view of the kids pool and beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding area from the large patio. We did find the bed quite hard and there was a loud bird that would wake us up some mornings. Other than those few things the room was great.
Oswoldo was extremely welcoming and assisted us in booking a few excursions as well as renting a car and getting us set up with a very handy navigation app on our phones for getting around on the island.
The service and food at the restaurants was okay. I would recommend the steak house and seafood restaurant but we didn’t have much luck with the Italian. The main buffet was good for breakfast but lunch was a little hit or miss especially if you are a pickier eater.
The beach is beautiful and had really good snorkelling. We did snorkel a few other places on the island but found the beach here better than the other tourist spots. Towels however were extremely hard to come by and if you want a lounge chairs on the beach or around the main pool you need to be up early by about 7am to nab them. The kids pool was hardly used at all and always had lounge chairs available.
Overall we really enjoyed our time in Curaçao and at the Dreams resort. We will definitely return again.

Constant lack of room towels and beach towels. We didn’t get towels in room for 6 hours.

Do not I repeat DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT! They do not have enough staff to accommodate their guests. Each restaurants we went to we spent over an hour to even be served our appetizers which, a lot were already premade so very confusing on how it would take this long and it came out cold. There wasn’t many guest compared to an all-inclusive resort I’ve been to in Mexico or DR and they could not handle the volume of maybe 40-50 guest a night.
There was only two location for breakfast and you had to be a preferred member for you to attend that restaurant which is absurd. The World Cafe is unsanitary/safe as they did not have any coverings over the food. Birds/flies/crows were literally resting/eating/pooping all over the place and staff did nothing. Majority of our stay we ate outside the resort which defeated the purpose of paying for all-inclusive. To order room service they never answered the phone during our stay. We call the front desk and it could take you anywhere from 35min-1hr for someone to answer the phone no matter what time of day/night. I lost my cool after my 5th day because I had enough for the money I paid and not to be able to have the bare min of service is crazy to me. The liquor options here is terrible you will get sick. Bring your own if you want a decent drink made. I’ve watched guest at the bar ask for the most basic drinks and they could not do it because they didn’t have the ingredients to fulfill.
Overall, the service is horrible. The showers have

Not enough staff to offer the kinds of amenities that we were used to experiencing. Bathroom was a disaster and we were in a preferred club room.

I cannot recommend staying anywhere but here enough. Terrible service and food. Filthy rooms all around AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Run as far away as possible if you are looking to book this dump of a resort.

We are very well travelled and have therefore been to countless hotels and resorts. Having said this, we have not come across a resort/hotel which has had so many issues that staying there was made to feel like torture and misery. There were so many issues: the atrocious service, the rude and unhelpful staff, the lack of towels in the room throughout, the hours of waiting for a dinner table despite there being countless empty tables in the restaurant, the food being cold, the leaks and broken tap in the bathroom, the dangerous chairs, being avoided by the management to address any complaints, food ordered with room service didn’t arrive for nearly two hours, when we rang reception we were told they didn’t receive the order despite speaking to someone on the phone to amend the order. The list of issues is endless. Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

It is small property only 3 open air places to eat. Had to wait at least 30 mins to get a seat no reservations. Not enough bartenders had to wait 20 for drinks at lobby bar. Rooms need sprucing up. It looks nothing like Dreams in other locations. Entertainment or lack of made the night boring.

My too. Had a terrible leak in the bathroom ceiling. Maintenance tried three times to fix before finally moving me to a new room. New room the safe and tv didn’t work. Not towels towels daily In Room or by pool. Second room booked developed the same leak on that bathroom ceiling. Housekeeping didn’t come in most days of the trip. Bathroom floors were dirty upon check in telephone didn’t work in one of the two rooms booked.
Not all restaurants were open for dinner on a regular basis. Service was extremely slow during meal times.

I did enjoy my stay at Dreams. It was pleasant. It was a girls trip and one of my friends was fairly rude, so this affected our interaction with the staff. The staff was hit or miss with friendliness and a lot of the food options were limited. These issues triggered my friend. But for the most part it is a nice resort.

We had a great time at the resort, however we had looked at the reviews before hand so we knew what to expect.
Know that everything there is rather slow, island time, and it takes time to get your food, or get things done. The food and dinning options were great, however some restaurant would not be open randomly.
We had a romantic dinner scheduled, and Junior our waiter went above and beyond. We loved that experience. We also had a great time at the spa.
We had arranged airport shuttles with Amstar, and that went great as well.
The main problem of the resort is getting towels. The day we checked in, bath towels weren't available and we had to ask for some a couple times, to finally get them around 8pm- which was late, after we had travelled for 12 hours prior to arriving at the resort.
The pool towels are also a major problem, if you don't get up around 8 am to get a couple, you'll have to wait several hours to get some from the next batch.
They have a cleaning company for all towels outside of the resort, which is a system that obviously doesn't seem to work well, as clients would run out of towels every day.
Something to keep in mind also, there are evening animations every night. If your room is located right above, it will get very loud (especially with small children). However, most evening animations were over around 10:30pm at the latest.
Overall, we have enjoyed our time there. We were not looking to mingle or party, and managed to relax!

Kudos to the queen. She is head of house keeping . Our room was not ready timely, She was very personable, took ownership, and upgraded us to a beautiful ocean view. The view of the property is absolutely amazing. The food was not very good. Food options were not great. The hotel needs to update their mattresses as well as the comforters and bedding. We were in a large group and Many of us had the same issues. Worn out comforters with tears and stains. the hotel chain is not keeping up on the cost to replace items That have heavy use. The staff was very polite but they were very very slow. The issue with that is when you have one bartender. For limited servers, it takes a very long time to get your food and drinks. I assignthis issue to the corporate hotel not the employees. You can only do the best with what you have. The alcohol was okay but not great. The tequila was very poor. There are no seltzer options at this resort, given for preferred guests. The show's were not very entertaining. We have done other All inclusives And many many cruises. This did not fit a dream's portfolio resort. the bar Close an hour earlier every night and poste They did not have any one to work the next shift

Poor air conditioning in the rooms, no AC in restaurants since it outdoor but they could at least install high powered fans
No staff at the pool or beach to wait on guest for drinks, beach towels run out fast and they don't supply new ones for awhile, and they don't pick up empty cups at pool/beach until the night
However, the staff was very nice and welcoming

The overall property was fantastic, but as you looked closer things were dated. Minor maintenance was needed in several places on the property, i.e. rooted wood on cabana's, sink drains not working, and an elevator that went down in the afternoon 3 days in a row, just to name a few. Staff was very helpful, but very young with limited experience. Many that we interacted with were only there from 3 weeks to 3 months. The liquor for drinks was not top shelve nor was it available. And I felt bartenders were inexperienced as no 2 drinks were ever made the same. Food was great but dinner was very late. The advertised time was 6pm but nothing opened until 6:30 and it was first come first served. And service was very slow, especially the first 2 nights. One night we were first to the restaurant but seating did not take place until 6:45, and the waiter didn't come to us until after 7pm. We were with a 3 year old and dinner at this hour is unacceptable, especially when the hotel is listed as "kid friendly".
In addition, the outside pool bar had its issues, which kept it closed for 2 days. And we didn't have drink service by the pool until the 4 day of our trip.
Several people at the hotel informed us they heard this resort was taken over by Hyatt and many of the "seasoned" staff had left, which would make sense as to why many of the staff we spoke to were so new.
I hope this resort is able to turn things around as it was a beautiful location. But I most likely we not return.

Waiting for restaurants for dinner was to long 1 up to 2 hours , they should have dinner with buffe style since they can not accomodate so many guest , I’m not blaming staff but not enough staff one or two waters for all restaurata ,staff was very friendly , polite will definitely go back if they fix this problem about dinners

Not worth the money spent. Does not compare the other DREAMS. If I was DREAMS management, I would be disappointed in this site and either invest in it, or remove it from its Brand.

Food horrible, dry old, never stocked adequately, found hair in food 3 times and fruit flies in drinks.

We chose Curacao because it was a small, less touristy island, and this resort had a great deal. We were looking for a cheap all-inclusive with a good beach and poor for a good deal. We went in with no expectations, but were relatively surprised. We got a free room upgrade. The rooms could be cleaned better (there were cobwebs and dust in our room despite room service), food options were okay (not too many options and over or under seasoned often), but the beach although small, and the pool were great. We'd come back just for that. It's a small property which is what we prefer. Overall, we were relatively pleased (had read a lot of bad reviews about the property right before we left). Side note, they signed us up for a meeting with the rep from Unlimiter Vacations without telling us (we ended up going because they gave us a $100 voucher for attending). We were told itll be an hr to 90 mins, but we were there for about 2 hrs and 15 mins. The voucher was also difficult to use without having to spend additionally or having to lose some of the value. Didn't appreciate that.

Terrible property. Fell sick twice after eating food at the grill and seafood restaurant. Staff was rude and very very poor service.

The staff was rude and did not care about customers. The food was terrible and my wife and son fell sick after eating food at the seafood restaurant. My other son threw up four times after eating an undercooked burger at the seaside grill restaurant. Overall food quality was terrible, staff rude, and service terrible. We asked front desk to send us bottled water and it never arrived. Toiletries were not replaced and even rooms were not cleaned properly. Overall terrible. I will be complaining to the management of Hyatt Group.

First let me start by saying the food was absolutely horrible!!! Just disgusting! Doesnt matter which restaurant your choose the food is the worst. Overall the location of the resort is convenient to go to the beach or downtown. The room with even numbers provided a nice view of the pool & beach area. If you have a room with an odd number i feel bad for you because you will be looking at a run down parking lot with trailers your entire vacation stay. The staff was pretty friendly and it was easy to get drinks at the main bar. Not much entertainment going on here as opposed to other resorts i visited. The other bars they advertised were not open. Overall i give this place 3 stars because of the location

The staff was very friendly and always willing to assist. However, some of the facilities and rooms could do with some upgrading. We travelled with an infant and requested a crib which was provided, however, the sheets that came with the crib was dirty. One of the restaurants on the property which is close to the beach had really subpar food and it was sweltering - maybe consider installing some ceiling fans for the comfort of guests

OMG, so beautiful. This is a great idea for someone who wants quite. Great honeymoon idea for couples. This is a small property, but very convenient when getting to your room, food, and drinks. The beach is small but beautiful and glorious in its own way. Yes, I will travel back again.

Not a great experience. Did not have hot water for the duration of our stay. Also, the service at the restaurants and bars were poor, took around 2 hours to get our food, there is not a swim up bar nearby, so you have to go the local by bar to get a drink. The bar near the pool area did not have adequate service to accommodate requests. Also, housekeeping does not answer the phone, had to ask the front desk for toilet paper and towels and that took an hour to receive. I would avoid booking at this property.

The restaurants apart from the main one were not good overall. In addition, some of the personnel were not agile and efficient. The nights shows were very poor.
I really enjoyed the service in the main restaurant and the souvenirs shop. I really liked there is a private beach for the people and we can use the swimming pool very late
