Enjoyed this close to town mountain home. The owner was easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend! Our group of 8 had plenty of space and things to do. Game room for the rainy afternoon and taking a walk down the creek in front of the house once it stopped.

We really enjoyed our stay here for our vacation. Our family of 11 (ages 2-58) were comfortable for our week stay. It was a 30 minute drive to a lot of the activities we did (sugar mountain, hawksnest, grandfather mountain, mountain coaster, trout fishing/ gem mining), but we don’t mind a little drive. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions, and very polite. Creek and fire pits were cool. Loved the little enclosure for the hot tub. Driveway fit 3 cars just fine. Cons: The shower in the master was kinda dirty/ moldy. And couldn’t get the indoor firepit on the side porch to work. But all in all wasn’t a big deal for us. Loved the house and location. Will definitely save for next family vacation to the area.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this cabin! We loved the fact everybody had their own bedroom. We loved all the games and fun stuff to do as a family! Tammy was a wonderful host and so easy to work with! Will definitely stay at this cabin again!

The cabin was so beautiful, and had everything we needed and more. It was a little difficult not having much of a yard for our dogs and kids. It was more of a small trail around the cabin with a steep drop off on one side and rock hill one the other. Other than wishing for more of a yard, it was perfect!!!!! Absolutely loved the side screened in porch with the gas burning fire place. Definitely recommend for couples, without kids or animals!

This cozy cabin was everything that we hope for and more. Staying over Christmas was a delight and we didn't have to bring a tree because the place was decorated for us. We have stayed many places, but this was by far the best of them all. We can't wait to rent again. Very close to Boone was very convenient.

Heading to the property, I wasn’t so sure about this. But, driving over the bridge at dusk, it was like a Kincaid painting. Very charming inside and out. Summertime would be magic, esp. for kids, due to the amenities.
Don’t pass this one up. So covenient to Boone and much more.
One tip. Look for the last White House on the left, then turn your blinker on and slow down. Go past the gravel turnaround on the right and be ready for a sharp right turn, just the other side of the mailbox. Once you know the landmarks, it’s a piece of cake:)
So, needless to say, I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home! We so enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was wonderful. We hiked and the stream was beautiful. The game room was fun on the rainy day. Best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had.

The cabin is cozy and warm and is tucked up on the creek right off of one of the main roads with easy access to Boone. The cabin is clean and well equipped with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay and especially cozying up to the beautiful living room fireplace after spending the day hiking and exploring the area.

The place is beautiful and it’s like you deep in the mountains but yet you’re just a few minutes from everything. It has every amenity you could want. Will definitely go back!

The house was great for a family, full of activities! Also, there were so many small extra details that the owner had thought of. We also enjoyed the beautiful stream and almost caught a trout!

The only reason for the 4 star on accuracy was due to one of the rooms you had to walk through to get to the bathroom so it was more of a playroom with a bed. It was not a problem for us though as we had a couple with small kids stay in that area.
The owners were awesome with their communication before and during the stay. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the house and the ability for all of us to be together under one roof. Plenty of room, plenty of towels, great atmosphere and close enough to visit our college daughter while we were there! We would definitely look to book this home again!

Great Location to be able to relax. I understand in staying in someone else home and respecting property but felt like some of the rules were over demanding or excessive. Then was not informed the upstairs shower was out of order until the day we checked in but luckily all in the group did not show. Lastly it was not disclosed that there were multiple ring cameras around the cabin. So, it felt every time you moved outside or sat at the fire pit the group was being watched. However, the group did enjoy their stay and the cabin with the sound of running water from the river was relaxing.

The house was beautiful and away from other properties so you felt like it was a true getaway. The owners were very responsive with any inquiries we had and were kind and courteous. We loved our stay and would book this home again.

Our family of six celebrated our son’s high school graduation by booking this home which he chose. It’s a little nerve wracking coming across the bridge in the drive but the home is nice and inviting, we’ll worth traversing the bridge. Our kids (all young adults) loved the game room but the hot tub was the favorite spot for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have a great area to do laundry. We enjoyed the front porch and our dog had a great time walking in the creek. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We did experience an issue that could not be fully fixed but when we contacted Tammy and Julian about it they were very responsive and quickly helped us find a temporary solution for the duration of our stay. The location of the home is also fantastic. You feel like you are secluded when, in fact, you can easily get to wherever you’d like to go in a relatively short amount of time. A very interesting area and a cozy home!

Every year, my girlfriends and I get together for yearly 4 day, 3 night trip together. This year, we stayed at this beautiful cabin. It's right off of a main road but feels very secluded due to the trees and river running between. There was plenty of land to hike, the scenery was beautiful, the river flowing in front was stunning. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes of the cabin. The kitchen really is well stocked for a cook. That jacuzzi shower in the bedroom downstairs is crazy amazing! I need one in my home now. Four days before our trip, the owner found out that the shower upstairs was leaking. He had been trying to get someone in there to fix the problem, but was put on waiting lists. Anyway, he gave me a call to let me know and offered us a full refund if we wanted to try to find a new place. Since there were 2 other showers in there, I decided it would be fine if we only had the 2 to use. The communication with the owner definitely deserves stars. I really appreciated him calling me directly rather than sending me a message through the vrbo messaging app. I might not have checked that until the day I was about to leave for the directions. This place really felt like home away from home with all the things you dream your home has.

We spent a long weekend at this cabin celebrating our son's graduation. He wanted to be close to Boone and this location was great for getting back and forth to the graduation and other activities. The hot tub, fire pit, ping-pong, and pool table were enjoyed and great gathering spots. We also really liked the screened in-porch and used that for hanging out and grilling. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the stream below The cabin was clean and the hosts were very responsive to any questions both before and during our stay. The feedback from my family and son's friends is very positive and we had a great time!

The property was better in person than the written description. This cabin was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. Everything from the covered back porch to the secluded hot tub was spot on and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cabin that has it all. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can

We really enjoyed our stay and accommodations! Wish there was access to additional toilet paper, paper towels, the lighting could have been brighter (for us old peeps 😂).
Would recommend the house to family & friends.

Close to downtown Boone. Our little one enjoyed the home with all of its games and amenities. The hot tub setup was very nice.

Stayed at this beautiful cabin with my family for a week. Had a blast! There was a couple small issues but the owners were all over it and had it fixed same day. We were a little too early for the fish but enjoyed the creek everyday. Overall a great experience.

This was a lovely property close to Blowing Rock. Boone and West Jefferson. Pretty much everything you would need is there.

Good place to stay if you want to be around the Boone area. Location to everything was awesome. Hot tub had a minor issue which we finally were able to get resolved; unfortunately, it was the last night and we weren't able to use it. The only thing we felt was not good on the listing was the private stocked stream that was on the property. It was a very shallow stream and never saw a single fish swimming around. Maybe that's better in summer months? But it was, at best a couple feet deep in very limited locations on the stream. Other than that, the house condition was great and the game room was phenomenal so we had other things to do while hanging around the house. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice and roomy place just far enough from the downtown crowd but close enough to join the fun of you wanted too. The bridge to get to the cabin was a little scary being in a jacked up truck but over all this place was amazing. We will be back in the future.

Booked this cabin for my boyfriend’s 28th birthday weekend. He and his friends all went to app state and were excited to go back to their roots. The cabin was so close to town and was extremely comfortable. Tammy was great with communication and we all had a wonderful time!! Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a blast. It was an awesome change. Even had some super cold and snow. Great location to do all the fun things in Boone and at the Appalachian Mountains

Tammy was an excellent host. there were some issues with the house such as a leak coming from one of the bathrooms upstairs and we were locked out of the combination lock one night. However Tammy responded to all of our concerns immediately and honestly it did not affect our overall experience whatsoever. I would highly recommend this property.

Tammy was super responsive when we had questions. She even came to the rescue when we accidentally turned out the pilot light in the fireplace. Cute & cozy cottage. Kids loved exploring the land. We are long-time visitors to Boone & we had all the plans to do all the things this trip & we ended up most days staying at the cabin in favor of exploring the grounds, building campfires in the pit outside & enjoying the fireplace & movies inside. It was lovely! Hot tub was perfect for a nightly dip & the robes provided were so nice! Perfect for walking in the cold out to the hot tub!
