Nestled in Leland, this lovely house for $483 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. The Beach House is a guest house that is about 850 sq ft of living space that sits behind a main house on the property. Conveniently located within walking distance to the sugar sands of Van's Beach (about 1.5 blocks away) or to the town of Leland, the Beach House is its own building with its own entrance (see pics). It’s a one bedroom with a new queen bed, washer and dryer, large bathroom and living space along with a sweet little kitchen equipped with a new microwave, new refrigerator, coffee maker and some plates, cups and mugs. Check out the Little Red Beach House that is located directly behind this house. Need more space? The Little Red House is about 1,500 sq ft of living space. It’s a two bedroom home and can be rented together for visitors who need more space - property #2973497. If you want BOTH spaces, act quickly - inquire and once payment is made, we will secure the listing for both spaces. It is new to VRBO so be our guest. It's a short walk to the town of Leland, to the beach, to lunch across the street at Trish's Dishes, dinner at The Cove (our family favorite) or any of the other restaurants in Fishtown, peruse the local book store, fish in the historical Fishtown, grab fresh fish from Carlson's, view beautiful art from one of the many galleries. If you want to cook, feel free to walk to the Merc to pick up some groceries and come back to the Beach House. Be sure to grab a chair and walk to Van's beach for a stunning sunset or stroll along the waters of Lake Michigan. The place is ideal for a couple with the single bedroom that has a new Queen bed. The backyard is communal and well equipped to grill or relax. It’s a shared space shared with the Little Red Beach House property - the two properties are located 10 steps from one another. The front yard is fenced off and is exclusively for use by those who stay in the Little Red House - VRBO property #2973497. Are you a history buff? Look on the main house and the guest house for the LVFD (Leland Volunteer Fire Department) medals. These medals are known as fire insurance marks used in the 18th and 19th centuries to “mark” the front of homes and buildings to indicate which building were insured and by which insurance company’s firefighters. If you are looking for a clean place to stay that is conveniently located to all that Leland has to offer, this is your place. We have a three night minimum.

The property worked perfectly for the two of us. Small and intimate (we did not need a large place). Walking distance to public beach, multiple shops and multiple food options. Easy drive to numerous wineries. The fall colors were spectacular and our timing was perfect for this. Excellent communication with the host family made for an easy and pleasant stay.

Very cute and cosy property. We stayed in the smaller beach house behind the main house. Perfect for our stay. Comfortable bed, clean and appears well kept. Owners were very responsive and instructions were very clear

Quaint, old-school cotttage right downtown in Leland, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and beach. A plus because parking in Leland can be tricky. Hosts were great! Prompt communication. Will definitely return!

The location of this rental is fabulous! Very close to the beach and right in town. We biked all over. The hosts are wonderful! Very attentive and offered great suggestions. It was very hot when we arrived and they had extra fans delivered and later in the week brought a standing air conditioner. It did smell a bit musty, but the AC helped that. We would stay again.

We stayed in the guest home, it was great for myself, mom and two kids. The location is amazing, beach, Fishtown all in walking distance. The owners are super responsive! We will be back!

The house is perfect for a couple’s getaway. Just a couple of blocks to town & to the beach. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Everything is walkable. The house is handicapped-friendly, with plenty of space, a low-threshold step-in shower, and zero stairs. Owners are friendly and responsive to questions.

The cottage was perfect for two. Very cozy and clean with everything we needed. The location was wonderful, a block from the beech and two short blocks from the center of town. We’re looking forward to going back again for sure. Tia and George couldn’t have been better hosts !

Our recent stay in Leland was perfect! The hosts were very friendly - checked that we had everything we needed and even dropped off a fresh vase of flowers! The property was clean and had everything needed for a weekend stay for two! The location was perfect - a short walk to the town and the public beach! Would definitely return for a future trip!

The little red beach house hit the trifecta for us -- great location, charming accommodations, responsive owners. It was the perfect cozy getaway for 2 -- walk to the beach, to shops and restaurants, to the arts center and to Fishtown. The house is tastefully decorated and a comfortable place to relax. We took a fun day trip to S. Manitou Island -- it's an easy walk to the dock.
