Great value, welcoming accommodation in a fab location

Panos was super welcoming. The location is great. Pool gorgeous and rooms so clean

Superb

Villa Margarita is a lovely family hotel, tucked behind the town and the main beach, only 5- 10 mins walk away. Rooms were basic but very clean, and we had clean towels most days. Pool towels were also provided. We really enjoyed our stay here. Panos, who ran the hotel, was really friendly and helpful. His English was excellent. A bonus was the complimentary tea and coffee every morning in the reception area. There was also a fridge full of different drinks - water, soft drinks, beer, and wine. We just paid for what we had used at the end of our stay. We enjoyed the pool also, and the surroundings were clean and well kept. We would recommend this hotel.

Bad

very bad. The owner is very aggressive and rude. It is far from the sea. There were big problems in the room, we didn’t sleep for half the night because of insects that bit very hard. I had to move to another hotel, and I didn’t even return the payment for 4 nights. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Beautiful location, close to the port, restaurants and shops. The owner was very friendly. Immaculately clean. Lovely pool area, enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

Excellent value for money, very clean , a friendly place to stay.

Location was good about 5 minutes from the town beach. Property and pool spotless. Staff friendly. Area by the pool to eat breakfast which you can prepare in the kitchen by reception. Good area for a get together before going out in the evening, the owner also provided us with Souvlaki and wine at no cost. Would definitely recommend.Pick up and drop off at the port.

Our favorite hotel on Spetses!

Our room was perfect and because we had stayed at this hotel previously, we made a special request for a specific room, which was honored. The hotel has gotten better every time we stayed. The updates to the pool area are beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I like that this hotel is farther away from the town center so it is quiet and private, but still close enough to get to the beach within a few minutes ride on a moped or maybe a 10 minute walk on foot. Don't be discouraged by the walk as the scenery is beautiful.

Everything was perfect. I have no issues at all .

Very good

Overall experience was very good. The location is perfect, short walking distance to the centre. Staff was polite, we asked for some waters and received it. The swimming pool was available at the facility for free.

The only thing is that the room was tiny for two people but it wasn't something to complain about!

The owner runs the hotel alone and couldn’t pick us up and our bags. Had a very hard time getting a cab, as there is on

1/2 mile away, mostly up hill and very dark at night.

Highly recommend this hotel, pool was a lovely bonus and Panos an excellent host. Most helpful too.

Spotless, spacious room with large ensuite and shower, and very large roof terrace with fabulous view to the sea.

Expected continental breakfast to be available as mentioned on hotel website. Coffee is made every morning however. To be honest, it wasn't really a problem for us - we organised our own after the first morning - and given the otherwise exceptionally excellent value of this hotel, I can't rate this as a negative.

Helpful owner made you feel at home and assisted. Lovely room with cute balcony.. clean rooms.. swimming pool is great and big , perfect to relax . Everything was perfect . Close to the town .Will definitely come again

I loved this place and would definately return

I loved this place and would definately go back. Panos was fantastic and upgraded me to a bigger room without me even asking as there was one available and i was staying for 12 days. He collected and returned me to the port which was a real treat not to carry bags. The pool is wonderful and huge and clean. The room was big with a huge balcony and was cleaned beautifully every day. An amazing sea view from the balcony. Wifi worked very well. This was amazing value for money and is in a quiet area within easy walk to the beach, shops, new and old ports with numerous restaurants.

The colours of the room are a bit outdated and if painted in a blue and white theme would be really island style. HOWEVER that is not a negative (its just the decorator in me ) . It didnt bother me at all.

Great place, nice pool and amazing value

This place was amazing. Great value for money, lovely pool area, really friendly and helpful staff. The owner very kindly offered to drive our bags down to the port. Air conditioning was great, room was clean and comfortable. For the price, what more could you want.

The only slight negative was the smell of smoke, and that we couldn't seem to lock our room from the inside, but that was probably our fault. Don't let this put you off though.

Our little Spetses gem

We had a really lovely stay here and every area of the villa was scrupulously clean and the pool was so fabulous. The rooms may seem quite basic but they are extremely clean and comfortable and the overall villa setting is most definitely value for money. Location is also good, not far from the new harbour when you get of the ferry and a very doable and fabulous evening walk to the Old Port for cocktails and dinner in a delightful area.
