This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 4 bedrooms, a private heated saltwater pool (roughly 10 x 20 in size), and views of Osprey Point Golf Course. Conveniently positioned on Governors Drive, the main thoroughfare in Vanderhorst Plantation, the home is a 7-minute bike ride to the beach and across the street from popular Marsh Island Park. As you enter through the front door, you are welcomed by a view of the living room which opens to the kitchen and dining area. The living room has a sectional couch, flatscreen TV, and access to the pool and deck. The open kitchen offers ample counter space, Thermador stainless steel appliances, and a large island with bar seating for up to 6. The adjacent dining area has an easily expandable dining table with seating for 10 people. The downstairs master suite offers a king-sized bed, access to the deck and pool, and a luxurious private bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find three additional bedrooms. The upstairs master suite has a king-sized bed and spacious bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower. A second upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third upstairs bedroom has a full over full bunk bed and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Also upstairs, you will find another living room which features two sofas, two side chairs, and a flatscreen TV. The screened porch, which can be entered through the dining area, has comfortable sofas and a flatscreen TV. Off of the screened porch, you will find a full bathroom to freshen up after the pool or beach. The outdoor back deck has a dining table and chairs along with poolside lounge seating. At the garage level, you will find a game room with a ping pong table. Just outside the garage, there is an outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. The elevator is available for guest use and provides access to all three floors. Please note the fireplaces in the home are not permitted for guest use. The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's front entrance as well as the pool equipment under the back deck. The cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours! This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.
