This recently renovated modern farmhouse is the perfect place for families to come and spend some time together! Kids and grandparents alike will be delighted with all The Beech House offers. The house is set back off the road in a private, woodsy setting. Upon entering this darling retreat, you will be greeted by a spacious open floor plan with gorgeous exposed wood beams and stylish black and white combined with warm wood accents. The large sectional in the center will be an ideal place to kick back and relax. Turn on the gas fireplace, grab your favorite blanket, and curl up on the sofa before streaming your favorite series or movies on the TV with streaming services. All TVs are smart TVs with Netflix, HBO Max, etc., and a digital antenna is also available for select local channels. The adjoining open kitchen has every appliance and cookware the cook of the group could need to prepare delicious meals and snacks. Find a double-door fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, built-in microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and a shiny island seating four. There is a large front deck with a hot tub, an inflatable bowling set, an outdoor dining table for four, and a firepit surrounded by four Adirondack chairs. The rear deck off the kitchen features a gas grill and another four-person outdoor dining area. This level also features two bedrooms with a TV, a desk, and an en suite bathroom. The ground floor has a separate entry with a large playroom featuring a billiard table, a Connect 4 game, a smart TV, and a wet bar. There's also a laundry room and an additional bunk bedroom with a TV. On the third floor, guests will find two large sleeping areas: a main suite with a TV and an en suite bath and a 'children's loft' with a campground setting accessible via a spiral staircase. Additional perks included a telescope in the living area and a current Beech Mountain Club membership, which provides shared amenities such as golf, tennis, pickleball, pool, fitness center, and ski lodge. THINGS TO KNOW Beech Mountain Club amenities (golf, tennis, pickleball, pool, fitness center, and ski lodge) require an extra membership fee. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Our family of 12 had a great Thanksgiving reunion. The little kids loved the upstairs loft! The hot tub was a hit. Burn ban was in force so we couldn't use the fire pit but it would have been nice. We cooked a big dinner for Thanksgiving and found most of what we needed, although we did bring some cooking things from home. There's a Ninja blender and an Instantpot, and a hand blender. We had a lot of fun just hanging out, playing games, pool, sitting by the fireplace, and watching movies. There are some nice hikes nearby. We loved the Brick Oven Pizza in town, and also Fred's Mercantile came in handy and was a cute store. The very tame deer were fun for our grandkids to see, coming right up in the yard. Fun memories were made and we just wish it could have been longer.

We came with a family of 10- plenty of room for sleeping and living quarters! The property has quirks-but in the end it all ended up being the things we laughed about the most- like everyone getting locked in the bathroom all week 😂 The hot tub was chilly when we arrived- but it was because it was just emptied- the tech comes and cleans it 1x a week so it’s well cared for. The TVs are set up with plenty of options for all- Netflix/Disney Plus etc. Kitchen is well stocked with amenities. The home is amazing- we loved all of it- the beds swallow you up- the couch is the best & all the decks are awesome for enjoying the woods. We had lots of animals come to see us on the back porch- they liked marshmallows & watermelon rinds. Deer & a sneaky raccoon every night- we had a big bear in on our last night. He was very thirsty. Make sure you don’t leave ANYTHING food or drink related in cars or on the porch! He tore our cooler with just pop in it apart and drank all the pop 😂😂🐻🐻 The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes and a windy road but you get used to it- the drive way fit 3 large trucks with some creative parking. Overall- we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back one day ♥️ Thank you Beech House for the memories!

My family stayed here for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Wonderful property, enough room for 4 couples to have space based on 2 bedrooms on the main floor, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. We couldn’t find the remote to the tv in the fun game room and I reported it …was told someone would call me to deliver but no one every contacted me. Would stay again.

Scheduled as a family reunion/golfing retreat, we chose this home specifically for the amenities named on the listing. Access to the golf club and pool was never provided despite multiple attempts many months in advance and on arrival. Promises were made by Vacasa to look into this but no results. Most frustrating was that they would not call us back - in advance or while onsite. This completely ruined our vacation plans for both the children and the adults as plans made months in advance - based on listing - had to be scrapped. These amenities remained on the listing even while we were in residence! The home is beautiful and perfectly set up for 4 families, with each family residing in their own en-suite bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked for a crowd, and the kids loft is adorable- perfect for 4-10 year olds. Lots of wildlife - deer, squirrels, even a bear lumbered through. Easy access to hiking trails and Boone. Maintenance is okay but needs the love of the homeowner: door knobs lock folks inside two of the bathrooms, none of the fans worked (not connecting with the remotes), hot tub had no chemicals in it when we arrived and it appeared there was a roof leak with mold appearing on the ceiling of the Laundry Room. All issues were addressed reported to Vacasa. Bottom line: Loved the house, had a great time after plans were re-engineered and expectations reset, but very unhappy with Vacasa management. Would rent again on trips not designed around stated amenities.

A beautiful home but needs some help in the cleaning area. We did notice the home didn’t seem as clean when we arrived as we would have hoped it would be. Floors were dirty and cobwebs were everywhere. The bed comforters were dirty with stains and spots on them. The home was beautiful and had a lot for the kids and adults to do. We saw lots of deer and even a bear! I would have rather had a more of a Mountain View but the wooded area was nice as well.

We really enjoyed our family vacation at this beautiful mountain home. Plenty of room for 10+ adults. The hot tub was a huge hit, along with the downstairs pool room. House could have been cleaned better, not sure if the crew was in a rush right before us. We also had trouble with no gas in the grill and had to drive a good ways to go get a replacement tank. Directions and check in and out info was hard to find and communication with the property manager was slow and not very helpful. Everything I have rented in the past on VRBO has been with the owners of the home, I would have much preferred that this time as well. But overall, the experience was good and we loved the home. I would definitely recommend.

Very Nice Place and Clean. You will NOT be disappointed!!! Also very roomy for 4 adults and 5 teens. We all enjoyed the cozy feeling of the house. Lots of beautiful deer walking close to the house. We will be staying there again.
