I booked, months in advance, a room with 2 beds since my son and I were traveling with a friend and their child. We were on a college tour weekend. I called 2 days before to confirm all was still set and correct. We traveled 6 hours and arrived 11:30pm. We waited 20 minutes to get our room which turned out to be a King Size bed. We told the front desk person, who advised us he was only one person on duty, that there were no double bed rooms. We explained there was no way 4 people unrelated could stay in one King Bed. He said he'd look around the hotel. He came back 20 minutes later saying he found one. The room we were given was horrible but it was almost 1am and we had no choice. It smelled so terrible and was missing many items. We found out that the room had previously been a long term rental and was taken out of inventory because of problems and the smell. The air magnet they had in the room didn't work AT ALL. Our stay was so uncomfortable.

Our team had reservations and no rooms were clean. Half of our team was turned away. Our room was dirty. Nobody at the front desk for check out.

I saw the reviews which is why I choose this hotel....someone isn't giving correct reviews. This hotel is disgusting,,the rooms smell disgusting, their old and outdated.

I went to check into my hotel room Friday night around 2 am with my room prebooked, nobody was there to check me in. I stayed in the lobby until 4am before i had to resort to sleeping in my car in 25 degree weather. I went back in at 5:30am and still nobody in the lobby to check me in, finally when i went back in at 7:30 someone was there who stated they didn’t have a room for me and didn’t really seem to care that i had to sleep in my car. So i had to resort to showering at a local gym, purchase towels, wash clothes and hygiene products. During that day i got an email my trip had been cancelled and i no longer had a room for the remaining 2 nights of my stay. When i called they said i did still have a room and could check in whenever i was ready. Upon check in i informed the manager of my position the night prior who also don’t seem to care and gave us a room with dirty sheets and no heat. We got new sheets to the room but heat was never resolved. To say this is the worst expirence i have ever had in a hotel that would be an understatement. Also no refund has been given for my troubles.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained for an older building. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Very quiet. We all slept great.

There were soks left in our rom from the previous guests. It was in a corner , but still left us feeling that housekeeping may not have done as thorough of a job as they should have.

Was ever told that my two queen would never be available due to some failure in housekeeping. I explained that I should have been notified earlier. She was quite unconcerned and nonchalant about it. She did not know I had 3 people. This is all developing at 1030 at night after a long day. We were given a king bed. I again reiterated we had 3 people. She said room had a small sleeper sofa. That was not in my opinion a very good solution as most sofa beds are not comfortable. It’s all they had and I wasn’t in mood to hotel shop that late. Terrible. On top of that two ambulances pull up and are working on my floor so it was another 15 minutes of delays getting to room due to multiple medical personnel using the elevator.

I went to breakfast at 8 and the eggs and hadh browns were cold.

Property’s sheets looked so worn I wasn’t sure they were unused. Clock not set to correct time and dust and spiderwebs on top of a lamp.

Very nice large breakfast with great selections, popcorn in the afternoon was a treat. Employees were very nice and helpful.

When we arrived at the hotel. We checked in and went to the room and it was disgusting from the hair on both beds, covers were stained. We went back to the front desk, the attendant gave us another room, we went to that room and it was nasty too. We just checked out. Overall experience was horrible.

This hotel was not that clean. While sitting in the lobby area, a staff member was spraying lysol on all the chairs.

Overall we has a good stay until leaving when there was a disturbance outside my room where two employees were engaged in an heated argument where I became concerned about my safety as well as my daughters. So needless to say I do not feel I will stay there again.

Very small bathroom

Great experience, ended up staying am extra day. Only complaint would be we ended up at a room near the end of the hall where the side door is. We were able to hear the door slam at different hours of the night. Other than that everything waa wonderful. Hot hot water, comfortable bed, breakfast was a great perk!

They have a very up standing staff. Also have a great breakfast menu every morning as well. The prices for their rooms are very affordable too.

I did not like the $250 hidden fee for being a local of Lynchburg. That alone would make me book elsewhere next time. The place is nice but I’m only here for 6 hours.

Gross dont stay here. Cockroaches in the room. All over. Dead ones behind the head board. Check your room if you stay here. Service was good. Refunded our money.

Pets in hotel not a fan of. Over priced snacks, lack of Frontdesk knowledge. Example: Key code access for customers and staff. Front desk staff needs to improve on greeting guest. Housekeeping needs too provide better service.

This was a very good hotel for anyone wanting to come out and tour the campus. The hotel was quiet, very clean, and close to shopping, food, and the university.

Good stay. Mattress had a dip in center and one of the pillows needed to be replaced which affected my sleep. Clean room and facility. Great breakfast included each morning. Staff was very friendly.

Great stay. Staff very helpful and kind, beds comfortable, quiet on the 4th floor, good coffee and breakfast. Only complaint is the Keurig wasn't very clean.

Last minute decision to take a break in our driving and stay overnight. Some trouble with my charge card, but machine accepted same in my husbands name. Every bit of our stay was excellent. Staff beyond courteous. Woman wking the bkfst room was such a hustler and friendly and helpful. Wish i got her name. Only recommendation would be to lower the lobby music. Pretty loud for early morning and you couldnt hear the tv news. Wish i could find my Wyndham card.Tk you and happy holidays.
