This would have been a nice hotel 30 years ago. The room was outdated, dirty, and it smelled bad. There was mold in the shower. The shower didn’t drain. We had to shower in water that was over the ankle high. The front door and the two connecting doors in the room didn’t close properly, causing us to feel unsafe at night. The bathroom door also didn’t close properly. There was a lot of noise coming from the parking lot all hours of the day and night. We could also hear the next room’s TV. We were told it would be $30 for early check in, something I’ve never heard of even at the most high class resorts. The front desk was rude most of the time. We asked for a garbage bag because the garbage in our room was overflowing and they said they couldn’t give us one. The pool was not heated and was very filthy. It was freezing cold every single day. The A/C in our room didn’t work. Breakfast was mediocre. Two hot items available. The location was okay. Near a lot of food, walmart, and the outlet mall. I would not stay here again though.

Very nice, well maintained property with an excellent staff and a well stocked morning breakfast. The location was excellent, providing easy access to two national parks and the Florida Keys. Although the beds were a tad bit firm, the room was spacious and generally comfortable.

First time of being so disappointment at best western hotel.
When checking in was given a higher fee when checking in. Was assigned a room with with another person already checked in and in the room. Our door did not open easily and didn't close properly. Stayed 2 nights.

There was black stuff blowing out of air conditioner all over bed and pillows. Since the hotel was full, couldn’t switch rooms. Was offered room on 2nd floor next night but couldn’t walk up with crutches so had to sleep without the A/C on. Otherwise fine.

Great place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights and room was attended too and beds made everyday. Friendly staff. The pool area was pretty large and quiet.

Great location, easy access from the highway. Great spot for trips to the Keys (20 min) and the Everglades (10 min). Good breakfast, friendly staff, very clean.

Nice hotel. Bed was a little too firm for me but they do give you 6 pillows. Shower was good with excellent water pressure. Hotel was VERY quiet.
I would definitely stay here again.

Our door had to be checked daily because it didn’t shut at the way. Came back one day and pushed it right open because it wasn’t latched shut. The pool area was being stained while we were there. The smell came right thru the crack under the door. The fumes were terrible

The hotel was centrally located to access the Keys , Everglades and Miami. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.The only thing I can ding them on is the bed and pillows. The bed was in desperate need of replacing and the pillows were hard like they were stuffed with rags. The exterior and grounds were clean and kept up with lots of lighting.

Quick stay. Loved the two sinks. Usually not a fan of exterior door entrance but worked well. Security guard Orlando was great.

It's located near the main road, so a bit noisy. They tried to move us, but since we booked through this site we ran into some limitations. The room smelled a little and was a bit moisty. The breakfast was ok (on the first day they were out of some basics though), but it was so crowded that it was difficult getting a table at all.
We visited during a busy period.

To be totally honest I hate posting this review but I think it's the right thing to do. The pool is unsafe for families. The floor is painted with a semi-gloss type paint. During my short visit to the pool area with my grandson I fell once and then slipped twice on to my right knee. Our bathroom toilet kept running all night. The door to our room would not work with the key. To top it off the breakfast staff was very short and rude. I asked for some yogurt as it was empty she told me she was busy and that I would have to wait. After a 15 minute wait while she cleaned off counters packing up breakfast I finally got yogurt. I don't like to do things like this but I feel that it's important to be honest especially when things are this bad. I did not stay the 3rd night and checked out. I was credited for the last night stay and moved to a hotel closer to the airport. When you go somewhere on vacation you want to be treated well and spoiled a little and this was not the case.

Rusted closet door and mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The chair is wear out years before. How could they still use the facility like that? The room always smells Nasty and moldy. No matter how low temperature you keep you air condition on. Couldn't believe it is a 3 star hotel.

Cons: thin walls and breakfast room is too small to accommodate all of the people staying there (plus they ran out of items and never restocked)

They told us that the pool was not open because of chemicals, but no other explanation given which was odd. Breakfast was not great, room was dirty. The door to the room did not close properly either and considering it opens to outside I would say this is unacceptable. Would not recommend staying here

The room was excellent for our vacation stay. The location was spectacular and close to my family, which worked out well. There were some activities near the premises, but we were not bothered by it.

Location is convenient.
But surrounding is very noisy, and noise was loud, and sound insulation is like none.
Room smells bad. And there is no way to ventilate it.
Queen bed is not a queen size, it is a double size. Its like you bought a dozen of eggs, you got home you found there are only 10 eggs.

They have one of the best breakfast offerings of anywhere we have stayed. The only reason I gave them only five stars was because the pool was closed for several days. Security on staff checking parking area.

Location was what it was picked for. A rest stop before heading to Key West. It met our needs well and was pleased with how clean and comfortable it felt. Pool area was nice, breakfast met our needs and overall price point was great compared to others.

The hotel location is perfect , right before the keys .
But the hotel management and certain and amenities are in decline .
Poor attention to the rooms and proper cleaning , no mopping or sweeping of the rooms.
My bathroom smelled like urine when I checked in!!

Honestly, this was a great stay. I was a little skeptical because of the price but it’s definitely worth it. Very clean. Staff was nice and it had everything I needed. I’ll be staying here again the next time I visit. Only thing is the walls are thin.
