Escorted to our room. We were told the water and coffee included with the room. We checked in just to sleep between flights. 390 pesos taxi from airport 40 minutes with morning 8am traffic. 320 pesos return.

It was OK, but a long distance from anything other than the hospital and plaza next door. The clock and the room safe didn't work. Alsway confirm the price of any taxi ride to el centro that they call for you. Our driver asked for twice what the hotel people told us it should be.

If you have a loved one in the hospital, this location is perfect. The beds a very firm and newer so no need to worry about rolling to the middle. The AC worked and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while recovering from surgery. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was convenient to be so close to a shoppig mall, less than 2 blocks away, perfect distance to walk to for supplies, dinner, and/or to stretch my legs. Through Uber and Uber Eats, the helpful hotel staff, restaurant and laundry, I had the ability to be independent when my travel partner was unable to stay so I didn't have to cancel my surgical plans

I stood at this hotel for 8 days and did not receive a key until day 5. According to front desk, their machine to activate keys was down. Every time I needed access to my room, someone at the front desk needed to open it for me. I was never asked for my ID, only for my room number. Any stranger could have easily accessed my room or any other room. I believe this hotel is unsafe for anyone to stay at.

What we liked the most, the people who works for the Hotel. They all are so respectful, polite. At the buffet restaurant our waiter Francisco was very attentive and the cook was super busy, but still she gave us a great service and the food she prepared for all of us was so delicious. Thank you so much for your service to all the staff at Howard Johnson.!! We Love Guadalajara much, much more this time, thanks to Them...

We had a wonderful stay at this Howard Johnson! We were attending a dog show in Guadalajara and had a difficult time finding a hotel that would accept a large dog. We found this hotel and were concerned about its age. The building is about thirty years old but very well maintained, very clean and Everyone was fantastic!!! The connected restaurant was convenient and pleasant, our stay included a free drink there. We had a lot of work for the show and it was so nice to go back to a hotel where everyone welcomed you, was interested in your day, was helpful and had pleasant things to say! This will be our new “Go To” hotel in Guadalajara!!

Nice hotel. Good location. The real thing wrong with this property is that despite the name, it is nowhere near the airport. There are two Fiesta Inns with Aeroport in their name. The taxi coupon sold in the airport is for the wrong one. The taxi driver will take you to the wrong one even if you try to explain and show him the expedia reservation. You will have to pay him more to get to the right one. This is the fault of expedia and the hotel.
