We arrived a bit early and our room was not ready. The restaurant was closed so we ate across the street. Upon our return, the room was ready. We had a brief but comfortable stay.

I had a great stay at The Gregory! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was extremely clean and well kept. The decor is SO cute! I really enjoyed the bar/restaurant onsite and even worked at the bar on my laptop over happy hour. Great location - just blocks from the White House. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely hotel. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved this hotel! Especially the fireplace in the lobby on cold days.
Only one thing I'll mention, I could really hear other people and thought the walls were thin. But then I noticed a gap at the bottom of the door and put down a towel. After that, I didn't hear other guests anymore and had a great night's sleep. The room was really nice. Roomy, elegant. Nice amenities. I'd gladly stay there again.

The check in was excellent, but the check out was poor due to only one clerk.

One night stay while in DC for college tours. Everyone from the check in to the valet was friendly and helpful.

Quaint, great restaurant/bar vibe, and rooms were large with unexpected outdoor space balcony that was a lovely added touch. Would definitely stay here again - great for business and solo travelers. Centrally located in vibrant DC area!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was nice and spacious, however beds were very noisy/creaky and the temperature control wasn't working very well.
Parking is $50 per night, you can probably use one of the garages nearby for less.

Nice little hotel with a tasteful design. Our room was very comfortable. The price for the area was convenient. Definitely recommend

Comfortable and clean room; however, the toilet tank did not refill on its own (had to poke the float inside the tank each time - I reported this right away); no water glasses were provided (even after requesting); and coffee mugs were not cleaned or replaced when room was serviced. At first I though the coffee maker was broken, but it turned out it was unplugged (behind an immobile closet/coffee station structure). But I was able to fish out the cord and move the coffee unit to the living room. Also, trash can also was not emptied. I cannot understand why I was charged an extra $50 per night as a "resort fee" (perhaps they'll save up these charges and hire some maintenance experts). Elevator call button to go "down" was unresponsive (but could call using the "up" and then select lobby. All these were minor inconveniences, but also not expected in a property of this quality. Fortunately, restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful lobby, bar & restaurant. Room issues unresolved by staff- tepid water, irregular temperature control, slow room service on requests

The phone in my room wasn't functioning so I couldn't order room service. I told the desk and they seemed unfazed. I had to go down to the bar to order and then carry my cup of soup and drink to my room. Also, no binder in the room with things offered at the hotel. I've stayed here before but this time was a bit disappointing.

Well the valet was $60, so be prepared for that. Then there is a $50 deposit for incidentals which interestingly you do not get all of it back after your stay regardless of the state you left their property in. Ah, but it’s cool you get a $25 coupon at a very expensive restaurant connected to the hotel. The $25 coupon probably goes pretty far (nope.) The phone in the room worked intermittently and they do not bring the food you order from the property to your room.

First of all: the staff was amazing. Particularly the manager, Antoine, who made sure my best friend and I, who were in town for bereavement purposes, had a great time. He even sent us glasses of champagne with our dinner (we loved the restaurant, super cute). Plus we got a $25 off voucher towards dinner with our check-in, so that was also a win.
Beautiful hotel. The issues were that the AC wasn't working and the room was stifling and hot, equaling not great sleep; and the bathroom wasn't great (the tub had standing water during showers, and it was obviously an older tub, not a walk-in). But the beds were comfortable and clean, and despite the fact that we didn't love the room, we loved the hotel. I would stay here again but I would certainly request a different room with a better bathroom.

Close to the heart of Georgetown, the hotel has very nice rooms and engaging staff.
Thermostat did not allow us to turn the heat down below 73 degrees - too hot for sleeping (and it is cold outside). Used valet parking during our stay, and car was returned to us with a coating of some kind of dirt on our car. It did not wash off despite the staff using some spray on the windshield. Management indicated they would get back to us within a day or two, but we heard nothing. I had to have a high end car wash when I returned to my home to get the film off the car.

My sole reason for staying at this hotel was to sleep before an exam. There was a continuous clanging sound coming from the air conditioning unit. I love this hotel - but it's not perfect.

The pictures look deceiving because the lobby looks great but the rooms are very old. Overall, we were very disappointed in the hotel room. There was no running water from the sink when we arrived and the engineer was not on site so they just told us we had to wait until the next day for them to fix it. The lamp lightbulbs were out and had to get fixed and one of the beds in our room was hanging off the bed frame when we arrived. There was no manager on staff for the entire stay so we weren’t able to resolve the water issue. The hotel room was also like a million degrees and we couldn’t change the temperature. Also because the building is very old you can hear everything from the other rooms and the hallway. This was a really weird hotel stay and I definitely do not recommend it.

Valet backed my car into a wall and didn't even tell me. Would not recommend.

It was a nice and clean upscale hotel, but i booked for 3 people and only got 2 towels first 2 days and only 1 regular coffee with 2 decaf and 1 tea. $300 a night i would expect 3 reg coffees and 3 towels for 3 adults every day. Breafast was really good, but overpriced.

We arrived at the hotel early and didn't expect our room to be ready so we were very surprised when the hotel attendant told us to return in about an hour & we could check in. We arrived 3 hours later to have another attendant tell us there was "no way" our room would be ready and we should return between 3 & 4pm & "hopefully" our room would be ready. We returned at 4pm to wait in a ridiculously long line. When we finally checked in, the newest attendant told us that "most of" our incidental fee would be returned if we didn't use anything when we checked out. When I questioned him on that, he couldn't give me an answer as to how much we would be charged, but that we would indeed be charged. Why would we be charged an incidental fee when we didn't use incidentals? When we checked out, I asked for a receipt and saw that we were charged $30/day extra for some random "incidental fee". So, buyer be aware & make sure to ask about any hidden fees.

Great location. Clean room just needed a handyman to fix a couple of small issues.

This hotel is beautiful but it is LOUD, both inside and outside noise. The walls are so thin that I could hear the person next door snoring. The windows are so thin that the morning garbage pick up in the alley behind the building sounded like it was in my room. Luckily I had ear plugs or I would have had to move hotels.
Also, the restaurant was disappointing. The hotel is a great place to get a drink, though.

Excellent and very large comfortable room. One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We however were not impressed by the overpriced restaurant. We used our “required to pay” resort fee $25 coupon for breakfast, but it didn’t even cover half the cost for two people. On our second day we opted to eat elsewhere.

The hotel was decent. The lobby and restaurant looked very nice. The biggest disappointment was the “dog inclusive” amenities advertised on the website. We did not receive dog treats, bows, etc. as promised and when we asked the front desk staff about this he seemed confused. There is valet parking only. Trying to find street parking or another garage nearby was difficult. Overall it was okay.
