Liked that it was so close to the mountain. Great staff!
The breakfast quality could have been improved.

It’s a beautiful spot and staff at the front desk and restaurant were very good. The young man at the concierge desk was very unhelpful. Lift tickets were part of our stay and we could never get them. It was disappointing. There were also so upkeep in the room that wasn’t taken care of. One of the bathroom doors had to be slammed to get shut.
The trails were beautiful to walk and they had fun activities, but limited hours on several things. For the price, I would not stay here again.

The rooms are extremely dated. Furniture is very old. The cost of the room is very expensive and I would expect better accommodations for the cost.

Great property, steps away from lifts (ramcharger, swift current, and explorer). Very clean. Would stay again next time I’m in Big Sky.

Beautiful views lots to do nice kitchen, great breakfast and most of all great staff

Condo was very nice and price included great breakfast and ski lift tickets. We would stay there again but would ask owner to upgrade to king bed and better lighting throughout condo. Also, check-in isn’t until 5:00 PM which is very inconvenient in most cases.

We really enjoyed our stay! Not the most updated hotel but clean, spacious with the Murphy bed, sand great service. We received a free breakfast each day (excellent!!) and even a scenic lift ride. The hotel pool was great and not crowded. Lots to do in Big Sky resort and in the downtown area. Balcony was not a balcony, however... Could only stand, no room for chairs. That was a bit disappointing. Overall recommend!!

Everything at the Big Sky Resort was fabulous. The entire staff went out of their way to be friendly, kind, and were very knowledgeable about the resort. We enjoyed the hiking, the lift ride and the food was delicious.

The main improvements to the property that I would suggest is to improve their workout area. It is adjacent to the pool area with no divider, who wants to run and inhale massive chlorine into their lungs. Separate the workout area and update the machines, one of the worst workout areas I have ever seen in such a big, nice property. It is unusable.
Second, it has a lovely huge pool that you enter and swim outside, that is really nice. BUT, no dedicated hot tubs. Build 2 or 3 large outside hot tubs. This is a skiing area, how can such a large hotel not have hot tubs.
The rest is good, but they need to update, rebuild the above. Would make such a big difference.

I booked this hotel knowing I would have my two babies with me. Online it was described as in room dining, which is a must when your husband isn’t with you. Once i checked in i was informed there was no in room dining..the resort next door had it but this one did not. So i was very bothered by the fact that i was lead to believe it did.COVID or not, the hotel needs to be marketed as is so people can make the right choice based on their specific needs. Other than that, the stay was pretty good and the hotel was clean.

Hotel is just amazing. You are literally in the summit, plenty of activities. Amenities are also super nice but if there is something we really appreciate is how nice all the people was there. Answering all our questions, giving advice. I highly recommend the place!!

Shoshone was a very nice condo/hotel. Our room was huge and well maintained and the location awesome. The restaurant there called "Chet's" have average at best food. Bar is nice. All in all a very good trip

The Shoeshone hotel is in an ideal location. The staff is lovely and professional. The rooms are dated and the housekeeping is NONEXISTENT even thought I was told we had housekeeping daily. There were pillows, wine bottles and bags of laundry sitting in the hallway.

Nice clean property. If you are planning on cooking bring you own kitchen knives. The knives could not cut anything.

The hotel was a wonderful surprise. We were booking for a night on our way out of Yellowstone heading to Vancouver and this hotel came up in the search with a great price since it was the off season at the ski resort. The accommodations were far more than expected. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable with a living space, kitchen, two bathrooms, and a view of the mountains as a pleasant bonus. It was by far the best place we stayed on our cross country trip beginning in Ocean City, Maryland!

nice mountain area with clean and spacious room, staffs are very kind, excellent facilities including two big pools & hot tub, laundry room, and even theater inside of the hotel. one disadvantage: takes at least an hour to get to the entrance of Yellowstone N.P.

We stayed at Shoshone for 4 nights. Nice condo for fam of 4. About 10 miles up the mountain from the main highway. Pretty location; be prepared to drive a bit extra. Stores were open only limited hours b/c low-season. Very quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Great pool and fitness center. Nice restaurant. More choices at other hotels in area. Around an hour to Yellowstone; 45 min to Bozeman. Big place; must be hustling during ski season.
