Just a quick getaway for a snowboarding weekend. Evenings were very quiet and although the property is older, it was very warm and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and understanding.

Convenient going fernie ski resort but downside is you can really hear the neighbors beside your room .
It was good experience.

We got there and our door had clearly been kicked in. The frame was split. Asked to switch rooms and said the door needed to be fixed. Was told not to worry no one will come in. Not really the point. The place was not full and was told he couldn’t do anything.
Won’t be staying there again

Hotel door faces outside, motel style, which is fine. Parking lot gets really full at night. Pool is very small and hot tub is even smaller. It was fine though. Would probably stay again, considering it was more affordable than other places, but room was comparable to other hotels in area, and the pool/hot tub is same exact size as the best western down the street.

A few steps from downtown Fernie, perfectly located

Room was clean. However in four nights housekeeping came in twice and removed garbage and that was it. Breakfast bar hammered by school group three days in a row and wasn’t resupplied.

Clean and nice amenities. We had a kitchenette.Comfortable beds.

An okay stay if you're just spending an overnight in Fernie. Anything more than this, and I'd look elsewhere. The rooms are okay, but could use a really good scrub down. The walls are quite thin, we could hear our neighbours tv clearly through the wall. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very basic toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and good coffee. The pool and hot tub area is fine, but the hot tub jets were not working and looked like this has been the case for a while.

Nice staff made our stay relaxing and convenient for our one night while skiing in Fernie.

Convenient for an overnight stay. Kitchenette was handy.

Another example of a hotel that has a broken hot tub. It seems to be happening all the time we were told that the health inspector shut it down a day or two ahead of time.

One of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. My feet turned black walking from the bed to the bathroom from all the dirt on the floor. I would not recommend staying here unless there were no other rooms available in Fernie.

All around great motel. Breakfast was well stocked and done better than most continental breakfasts.
Noise from the above group was constant which was unfortunate but not keeping me from booking again.
Sauna needs a renovation with all the graffiti on the walls, but the hot tub and pool were well maintained.

We left an item behind and would have appreciated a courtesy call or text. Instead it was either taken by staff or thrown away. I know it is not the hotel’s responsibility but would have been very much appreciated

Stayed there with my friend's family for two nights. It was very convenient to ski at the Fernie. The two bed room suite with kitchen is a very good value if you have 5-6 people. Hot tub and sauna work well too. It reflects their name in terms of best value.

Clean, comfortable, only downfall is quite a bit of road noise as well as loud whenever anyone walked past.

People next door in 245 were very noisy all night. Tried to contact front desk via landline around midnight. No answer, so we called room 245 to tell them to settle down with no luck. Around 1:30 am I walked down to your office and tried ringing doorbell and knocking on door for 5-10 minutes.
No one answered. Went back up to my room and knocked on door of room 245 to ask them to be quiet. They didn’t. The noise went on from them until 2am! When I checked out next morning I asked manager for partial refund or discount. He said he couldn’t cuz I booked through Expedia.
We felt very unsafe that night. Knowing that there was no security or manager available.

This property is older but quant. It was very clean. It is in the main highway going through Fernie and sometimes the traffic was heavy.

It was clean and convenient with friendly staff.
Hot tub is nice.
The only downside is noise as it's right by the highway. If you get to stay in the back building, it's better, but, as with any motel, people start their vehicles early in the morning, right outside the door.
As it attracts utility workers, a suggestion would be to start breakfast earlier.

Noisy rooms, beds were awful, shower was loud, kitchenette was dirty, over priced.

Clogged bathtub so could not take a shower on arrival. Towels are worn out and dark blue so you can't even tell if they are clean. Otherwise, three stars for this place. Friendly and fast check in. Area is quiet and everything else works

Price was good. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommidating. The only thing i didn't like was the entrance to the property. It was very tight.

For the price of a room at this hotel it sure was not worth it. The door to our room was NOT secure. The room was clean but needed some work. Would not recommend this property at all.

The property is just off the highway, very convenient but also noisy. The room is nicely laid out, although lighting is a bit dim. The town itself is quite lovely and not too far away, but you do need to cross the highway to get to the historic section. There was a pizza joint just around the corner that provided a nice pizza for a reasonable price. The free breakfast was toast, muffins or cereal with decent coffee. Perfectly reasonable based on the price of the room.

Too much traffic noise from nearby highway. Nothing hotel can do about,
but makes for a poor nights rest.

Very pleasant lady checked us in and gave a good recommendation for a restaurant when we asked. Thank you.

All was adequate but TV had no sound and I realize the property is old and lacks a little pizazz of newer.

From check in to check out, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the suite and were delighted that it was an actual suite, not just a bed and sitting area. We were initially a bit apprehensive that it would be noisy for sleeping, as the hotel is on the main road, but with the bedroom being located in the back, we slept like lambs. The suite itself was very clean, as was the pool and hot tub area. We would stay again if in the area.
