We enjoyed our stay! Bed was very comfy and room was clean! The bathroom seemed to be recently updated but the door for the shower was not working correctly but really it wasn’t a big issue.

Everything was overall quite good except the water coming out of the tap had a very bad taste. Understand, this is probably a city water problem and hopefully being addressed. The front desk manager did a good job keeping an adequate bottled water supply available.

We had to switch rooms because the bathroom door would not stay closed. The hallways and elevators smelled wet and moldy.

The refrigerator did work causing spoilage of the contents. When I informed the staff upon checkout I was told, “Sorry” with a nonchalant shrug.

Under remodeling project. TV not working. Not in keeping with the Hamptons I have stayed at before.

I'm sure once the remodeling is finished, things will be back to the usual high standards for a Hampton Inn. They need to hurry that along. Dust is everywhere, including the tops of the hangars.

We love staying at Hampton Inn Opelika, AL. We have stayed at the property a couple of times and enjoyed each time. Very convenient location.

We liked the hotel. The rooms were comfortable. The only issue is we found out that we could have paid $50 dollars less per night through discounts because of my wife’s employment.

Hampton Inns are our go-to hotel for whenever we travel around the country as they are so family friendly and consistent. Was disappointed at the condition of this particular location. For example, the tub faucet fixture was barely hanging on by a thread, and there was hair on the edge of the tub when we checked into the room. Mistakes happen. We will definitely continue to stay at Hampton Inns, but this location was just a little threadbare and worn in terms of room condition.

The room didn’t get cleaned until after 4:00 p.m. and she was next door at 9:00 a.m. I had to say something at the front desk to get something done we had no clean towels. The breakfast wasn’t the best but ok they were out of some things but overall everything was great

The hotel itself was excellent. Our neighboring guests were loud, cussing, and inconsiderate. The hotel front desk did everything in their power to get them to quiet down. All the rooms were full, so we couldn’t be moved. Eventually they settled, and the rest of the stay has been pleasant.

This was a stop on the way home from a family visit. The staff were helpful, the room clean and nice sized. The breakfast in the morning was good, so we were happy to have stayed there.

Definitely a mid range hotel with standard amenities suitable for an overnight stay. The staff were apathetic and even a bit standoffish. The breakfast lady was down right rude. Whatever sausage they were serving barely seemed fit for human consumption. When you'd fill your coffee cup you'd get a cup full of grounds. The water dispenser stayed empty. I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again, but if I had other options I'd explore those first.

It appears it has a staffing issue. When we checked in there was NOBODY at the reception desk. A sign says they would be back soon and help ourselves to coffee or tea while we wait. Well after about 5 minutes and the line getting longer to check in the receptionist came out from a dark office area looking like she just woke up with unprofessional appearance and finally checked us all in. Throughout the three day stay there and when we were in the lobby, we saw this happen numerous times with the same employee. I think she liked to take alot of naps in the dark office from the reception desk. You don't greet your guest with your shirt hanging half off your shoulder and your hair all messed up. Seriously??
