Hotel staff was great! Hotel was perfect in regards to location for an event we were in town for. Small hotel, with great service! Parking right outside of our room. Older hotel, and we could hear the guest above us And next to us as walls are thin. But it was perfect for our stay, would stay again for same event.

First impressions were less than expected as it is a motel more than a hotel. The term plaza for the location is definately a misnomer. The room was spacious and very clean for an older facility with a very comfortable bed, although over priced. However it was the Easter Holiday weekend. The air conditionar is a window unit and marginal at best. We were very comfortable with the kitchenet and table for two. The Jungle Queen is an easy 10 minute walk. I would book it again.

This is an old property but mostly well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The bed sagged in the middle. The shower was warm enough, but by no means hot. It’s yet another hotel where they still worry about COVID so they think leaving the rooms to get filthy from not cleaning them prevents disease. I’ve never understood how filth leads to health, but that’s how most hotels including this one think. Our room had one nightstand. It’s tough when two people have c-paps. The kitchenette was adequate with a tiny sink. There was a lot of bacteria on the molding behind the bathroom door. Two people in our room, one washcloth, one hand towel. That was laughable. They also give us only one room key. On the bright side there’s free parking. All in all, especially with the sagging mattress, I’d rate this place mediocre. It’s ok to sleep there as long as you’re spending the day out. Another bonus is that it’s walking distance to The Jungle Queen.

It is a nice and clean updated older hotel. The location is a short walk to the beach. A short stroll down the beachfront promenade will take you to restaurants and shops. We found the hotel room to be very comfortable. The hotel is well cared for and the staff are friendly. I would stay here again. There is a bus stop very close by and there is a free go shuttle bus that takes you up to the harbour shops on 17th street and will return and it goes along the beachfront on Seabreeze blvd. The hotel location is a few minutes walk to the water taxi stop #5. We purchased a water taxi day pass it was definitely worth the cost.

Left room locked, came back and it was wide open.. spoke with manager who did not apologize, but completely denied that any staff member would have gone in. Unprofessional! Also air conditioning put out unpleasant smell

The motel doesn’t look like much on the outside but it is cute, renovated and comfortable on the inside. Rooms are large with a kitchenette. The bathroom needs a shelf or a rolling cart to have a place to set a toiletrie bag or clothing but that was my only complaint and it is minor. The motel is close to so many things.

Super convenient to the beach, also a pool. Check in very timely and friendly. Room with no fancy amenities, but clean and had all the essentials, including coffee and a refrigerator. I would stay here again!

Ive stayed at this property quite a few times now & ive always felt comfortable and safe here as a solo female traveler. The rooms are clean, stylish and i love that they have a full size refrigerator with microwaves, coffee pots, a hot plate and dishes. I definitely plan on staying here any time i visit Ft. Lauderdale.

Very clean and spacious. Pool area looked a little run down. Could have used newer outdoor cushions on the pool chairs/furniture. They have a lounge but it doesn't open until 9am. Would have been nice if it was open at 7am so you could enjoy. All and all a nice Boutique Hotel style place to stay.

Fun little boutique hotel/motel. Looks out of date but rooms are remodeled, super up to date with great decor! Nice bath! Across the street from the beach and close to restaurants. Personnel are really friendly.

Eileen was amazing. We were able to check in early, we were given options for some places to eat. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Around the corner from the beach. Walkable to many restaurants. Would definitely come back and stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and had obviously been renovated to be more current. The bathroom in particular was lovely. The woman at the desk was very friendly and professional. The bedding was comfortable. The pool is small, but the hotel is only a few minute walk from the beach. The pool did seem well maintained. For an "old school" Florida beach hotel, it's obvious they have done a lot to make it modern and comfortable. It's a great alternative to a larger, more expensive chain on the beach.

The exterior looks a bit rundown and messy, to the point where you may question your choice to stay. That being said, the room itself was excellent. Spacious, clean, and very well appointed. I would definitely stay again based on the quality of the room.

We found this little gem of a hotel near Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. We could walk to everything which was key for us. The hotel was super clean and updated inside. My husband and I loved it and will be back.

It may be an older motel, but what a gem! Large rooms completely remodeled with a kitchenette and so reasonable! Just 4 miles from the port, free self parking and wifi. Will definitely book here again.
