We had a great stay at this property. We were going to a baseball game and it was close to the stadium.
My wife found the bed to be comfortable, I didn't.
Service was awesome and the building is beautiful.
Everything (convenience stores, fast food) closes early (around 9pm) so we had a tough time finding food after the ball game.

Nice room and convenient location. Clean and the room was well equipped. WiFi was not working and minor maintenance issues in room (no coffee, lamp not working, wall clock not working). I would stay again

The room seemed clean Furniture was worn no doors on the shower water getting everywhere staff was very unhelpful would not help with any of the information on the app that they have would not go there again only good point close to venue KeyBank Center no parking have to go to a parking ramp a block away not sure of the price depends on what's going on at the time overall experience not so goodDefinitely not worth the money the app makes it look fancy when you get there it looks run down

We loved our stay. We were in town for a concert at Key Bank and it was so convenient to walk there and back! Comfy bed and sooo quiet. We will be back.

It was a good location and nice having the coffee shop in the building. I had to ring for the front desk clerk to check in and noticed someone else did too. The room was good and comfortable. The hallways were worn and dated.

Hotel stay was ok. Hotel staff was pleasant and facility was nice. Our room was very nice and bed was comfortable. The temperature in the room was what made it not pleasant, when we got there the room was very chilly, the thermostat was set at 72 but the heat was not on. The heat did not come on until it was turned up until 82, the room did heat up, and we turned the thermostat down, then, during the night, the room got cold again. And I’m fairly certain there was no heat in the bathroom, the tile floor like ice. There was a very nice soaker tub, but the drain plug would not allow tub to hold water.
Sidenote…. The coffee shop attached to the hotel was phenomenal.

Great hotel! The bar is now closed so that was sad but the staff was amazing and there were many places close in proximity so it was overall a great stay. Super comfy beds too!

The staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in and checking out. The room was clean and comfortable. We came for the night to watch a Sabres game and the hotel is within walking distance.

Came in for the hockey game. Staff were friendly, room was very nice! Bed was extremely comfortable!! Would definitely recommend and definitely would return!

I wish there was queen bed options. Not a good stay for two guys that are not a couple. The safe in the room was locked when i arrived. The front desk attended tried but was unsuccessful in opening it. We loved the architecture and history of the building. I will be back with my wife. The Front Desk staff was great.

I think you need to deep clean your hotel and upgrade the maintenance of the interior. I thought it looked slightly run down in places. I love staying there but I could see myself looking for a different 3/4 star hotel in the future.

I love the vibe of the rooms and the overall feel to the hotel. It does have sort of a "on its way out" feel and with the impending sale of the bar it was sort of a bummed out feel. But i did like staying there.

This was hrand hotel with moderns rooms. Looks like the .eetinh rooms would be fun bookings. Wierd scents though. Hallways had timed sprayers seeming to fight a baked-in cigarette smell. Nice coffee shop and brewery on prem (brewery is closing soom though)

Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel lobby and our room was very clean, neat and tidy. The area was very quiet. The food selection was limited to a coffee shop. The area is older amd not really eye appealing.

Shower didn’t work properly. Our suite was located so that our windows opened to the 2nd floor courtyard, it was extremely loud and bright. The cigarette and pot smoke came right into our room. Hotel was completely booked so they had no other rooms for us to move to.

Lovely old-school historic urban hotel that has been tastefully modernized. It seems that with many rooms they likely combined two old rooms to make mini-suites that are roomy and comfortable. Hotel originally designed by one of America’s first women architects which they have told the story of with some nice historical displays.
All the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The adjoining cafe was very tasty for breaky too - the pumpkin pie cruller was to die for.
Only a couple of small critiques: a hotel of this caliber should have proper glassware, not plastic in plastic cups like a motel 6. I mentioned it to the staff when checking out and they said it was a covid-lingering directive from Windham, the parent brand. Time to change it up Windham! Also would’ve preferred a rolling desk chair rather than the odd acrylic one. On a business trip I actually spent some time at this desk and a better chair would’ve been welcomed. These are minor suggestions for improvement though. Overall the stay was great.

Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Cool rooms with tons of space. Great value for the price. Clean rooms. Only downside was the extreme pafume smell in the hallways. Carpet deodorizer I assume. Would stay again
