It’s a beautiful hotel. Very unique & quirky. We stayed room only so can’t comment on the breakfast but the piano bar was a great way to end the day.
Lovely, friendly staff.
Great location, everything we wanted to do was easily walkable from the accommodation.

The hotel is beautiful. It is elegant and has a very historic feel. The various places outside of guest rooms were lovely and comfortable. We loved the central location. We were in the middle of the historic district and had restaurants, shopping, and beautiful historic sites within a short stroll.
We were initially put in a back section that was not attached to the hotel. It had a mid-level pension feel. That would have been fine except I thought we were supposed to be in the hotel. We gladly paid for the upgrade to be in the hotel (non-suite) section.

Great location, gorgeous unique building
There is no signage to rooms or the pool so it’s very easy to get lost in the wonderful tunnels!

The location of the hotel was great. Walking distance to all the main attractions. The tunnels and patios in the hotel made the hotel unique.

Location perfect
Rooms face an inside dark pátio so no natural light and not able to open window for fresh air. Extremely dark and noisy Rooms as they face patios and doors are old and you can hear other guests from other Rooms and all over the pátio

I was both excited and anxious about how the hotel would be after reading mixed reviews. It totally exceeded my expectations. As soon as you walk in - the grandeur and history hits you. The lovely little courtyards are perfect. The art everywhere is stunning. The pool was bigger than I expected and a perfect respite from the heat - even with many people in it there was room to cool off. We had one of the best rooms in the hotel - the gorgeous and grand suite with its own little courtyard, Beautiful big comfy bed. Location is excellent - walk to most places or taxis are outside. Wished we stayed longer. Will be back when it's cooler!
Breakfast was ok but could have been better - typical Spanish breakfast but at least there was tortilla to break up the bread and pastries!
The pool bar drinks/cocktails are good but food choice is totally inadequate and overpriced. Seville is one of the tapas capitals of the world - why just serve boring toasted sandwiches, plates of cured meat and crisps? Not even any tortilla on the menu.
More beds and sunshades in the pool area would be good - nobody wants to lie out in 40 degree heat without an umbrella ( even me who loves the sun!)

The hotel had great character and the rooms were a good size with good bathrooms. The roof top bar and pool were fantastic and the location was a short ten minute flat walk to the cathedral and palace.
Not much.

Charming, historic and beautiful set of interconnecting buildings
The smell. As it’s a very old building the drainage is not efficient and it smells of drains, and it’s worse when it rains. Definitely not suitable for people with mobility needs due to to rickety stairs, uneven walkways and labyrinth like passages you have to navigate to get to your room.

Great hotel, but a little noisy with luggage bags and late comers
Noisy
