Stayed for 3 nights. Clean, pleasant and staff excellent customer interaction. Restaurant the best ever. Try the grilled salmon. My friend loved it so much that she had it 2 nights in a row. Amazing stay.

Nice hotel, good location. Only negative point was the service at breakfast (very slow).

The Centric has a prime location at the waterfront and just a few minutes walk from Notre-Dame Basilica. Nice and clean, with very comfortable rooms. The neighborhood is safe at all hours.
The only difficulty is finding the onsite parking. Save the hassle and just call the desk when you arrive and they’ll guide you.
I’d definitely stay again.

Unique hotel on the edge of Old Montreal, with a terrific restaurant and very attentive service. The rooftop pool is one of the secret bonuses of this property.

This hotel is central and close to old Montreal. Pet friendly, which is what I had wanted. I stayed two nights. That said, my room was not made up after the first night. Someone had been in the room and did nothing; the bed was not done and so on. Further, “room service” was mediocre at best, complete with an 18.5 % auto-gratuity on top of a service charge. When I called the front desk to speak to someone, the call was not returned.

Staff very helpful, friendly. One particular employee- J.J from the hotel’s restaurant deserves special recognition. Remembered details of preference without having to ask when we ordered

The hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The elevator to the parking garage was out of service 3 of the 4 days we were there. They had to bring us through the kitchen to the service elevator to get to the car which wasn’t great. But they did end up comping the daily parking charges. The restaurant was nice but my drink wasn’t good at all and the breakfast was mediocre but expensive. The rooftop bar was only open Wednesday when we got there but closed Thursday and Friday even though it said open daily which was strange. Overall it was okay I wouldn’t have a problem staying there again but wouldn’t go out of my way either.

Beautiful hotel and conveniently located

The hotel was lovely and so were the rooms. The only downside was the super confusing parking situation with the lack of labeling. It took us and other hotel visitors a while to figure out exactly where the lot is and how to get in as there were multiple doors none of which labeled. Hotel otherwise was in a fantastic location.

The hotel was in a great location. Clean, comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Loved the heated roof top pool.

A great new hotel with amenities (outdoor heated pool and gym) with a very convenient walkable location to the Old Town.
The only drawback was that the self-parking was pretty hard to find due to the lack of directional signs. But in general, it was manageable - the staff was extremely friendly and always happy to help with any questions

Beautiful hotel, but had a few issues. One was address of the hotel. Apple Maps gave me 2 different addresses and then the correct one was a completely different one that hotel staff told us. Also hotel staff were a little snobby toward us assuming because we were Americans.

This was a lovely modern hotel.
The staff were excellent, helpful, a pleasure to deal with
It is a bit isolated; although close to the old city, there were no coffee shops, etc
Lovely restaurant in the facility, with great food options

Good clean room with a great bed. Beautiful view in the evening from the rooftop cafe. Bring a bathing suit- We went for a fun swim in the rooftop warm pool in November. Hotel is in the couple minutes walking distance to the historical section of the city. Parking garage connects to the hotel- look for the sign to the correct elevator ( which we missed the first night and had a hard time to find our way).

We absolutely loved our stay here! The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. We were even able to check in earlier when we arrived on Friday morning. To the front desk girl/lady, we really wanted to let you know how much we appreciated how we were able to check in earlier (pending availability of course) but having been able up since 3 am, it was heaven for us to be able to rest a bit more. The room was modern and their facilities were all top notch. The room was spacious enough and had plenty of natural lighting and lamps. We also loved the black out curtains to get good sleep. The beds were very comfortable as well as their pillows. They were super fluffy but of good feather quality. We loved how close the hotel was to the Old Montreal and one of the Main Streets—Saint Paul. It was far enough away from the busy streets but close enough within walking distance. We would definitely book our stay here in the future of how much we loved it!

My wife planned a birthday getaway weekend for me in Montreal, one of our favorite places to visit in Canada. After lots of research, she found the Hyatt Centric on Notre-Dame East by the Vieux Port section of the city. When we arrived, our room was already ready for us. Check in was a snap and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the second floor, which from the reception desk, is actually downstairs one floor, which for a moment was strange, as we thought that reception was the ground floor. Nevertheless, we went to our room and it was just beautiful. Huge king bed, the bathroom had a rain shower head. Plenty of soft towels and plenty of room for both of us to be in there at the same time to get ready for our evenings. Our bed was beyond comfortable. The pillows were incredibly fluffy and comfortable. The room had a safe which we used to keep valuables during our stay. Large in-room fridge allowed us to keep beverages cold. Ice machine right down the hall. Huge flat screen TV, clear as day, giving us a chance to watch some TV before turning in. This hotel is literally one block from the cobblestoned street of Saint-Paul Street leading you down to Place Cartier, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the wonderful Vieux Port. Our hotel was less than a ten-minute walk to the nearest Metro stop (Champ-de-Mars) directly across from the CHUM (University of Montreal Hospital Centre). The staff at this hotel is without a doubt, some of the most wonderful hotel staff we have ev
