I didn’t realize how beautiful the location or the mansion was until I arrived. The only thing that I was thrown off by was a prom being held there. When I checked in, I was asked if that would be ok, but didn’t realize they were putting me in the building where it was being held. I didn’t feel I had a choice to say no as I had already paid for the room.

After hearing great things about Hayes Mansion I was very disappointed with my stay. I booked this stat to attend a conference in San Jose. After getting to my room late night the first night I was disappointed the tv did not work. The next morning I was hoping to rest a little and was excited that there were black out curtains but I was awoken to housekeeping coming into my room. The next day I again was hoping to rest but was awoken to very loud noise from a wedding that started a little before 8 am. It would have been nice to have a disclaimer about the noise. To add to my unpleasant experience a couple of days after checkout I checked my account to find they charged the wrong credit card. I verified several times when I checked in that the credit card i provided was the card I wanted to use. I will likely not be returning to this hotel. It was a a very beautiful hotel and very clean but my overall impression was not good.

From check in to check out, everything was seamless. Our room was lovely and it was very quiet being that we were on the 1st floor.

This is a nice resort-style hotel.

Beautiful hotel. However, it’s nestled in a residential area secluded from other attractions, dining, and sight seeing. You will need to rent a car or Uber to enjoy the surrounding area. Note there is an overnight parking fee.

It is a beautiful property... But when I arrived and checked into my room, Went to the bathroom and then went to watch my hands , but there was no soap.. The there's only hand Lotion on the counter.. I had to use the body wash in the shower.. There were no extra towels only the bare basic. I called the front desk and an hour later still had not received the soap...
Then when it was time to go to sleep Our window was facing the pool.. Outside of the window were two bright lights shining down... There were no blackout curtains to shut.. There were only see through curtains.. So There was not a good night rest because it was so bright in the room the entire time.
I was very disappointed because I paid a lot of money to stay At this property..
Even though it's a beautiful property , maybe to visit , but not to stay the night ever again...

It was a beautiful stay, it was quiet. The only down thing is the people above us were loud, you would hear a lot of their walking. Besides that everything else was great!

The room was quite noisy.
I also submitted a request for my check-out bill through the hotel's website contact form but received no response.

Decked out for the holidays and surrounded by bright light displays at neighboring houses, it was a lovely spot to spend a few days before Christmas came.
It was clear that Hilton did a refresh when they took over as the older property seemed clean and bright.
Entering rooms over the meeting space on the big building is a bit of a hassle, but the service is quite good and the breakfast buffet is above average.

Hotel is comfortable and quiet with a nice park beside it for a nice walk. The room is clean and well kept. I specifically like the fact that the hotel tried to maintain the history of the property.

The Hayes Mansion was a great experience. We really enjoyed the park & trails on the property, as well as the hot tub and fitness center. The breakfasts at the onsite restaurant were delicious.
We stayed in a double queen room (1306). It was fairly spacious and included a separate bathroom and balcony. Two suggestions for improvement: 1) better lighting in the main bedroom area. It is very dim, even during the daytime. All the lamps are downward facing with a narrow scope, so some kind of overhead lighting would help. 2) shelving in the bathroom. There is no place to set a toiletries kit, except on the toilet.

Stunning eye-catching property with large, modern, and clean rooms. Gorgeous pool area and event space. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Only concern I had was the disabled parking not close to the room, or the elevator.

We were pretty disappointed with our whole check in process. The first room was dirty, so had to walk all the way back to get another room. The front desk stated there were no rooms ready, which was fine, so we left to have an early dinner for about 2 hours. When we returned, the rooms were still not ready, and it's 5pm by now. So the front desk said we could stay in a single king bed room, which we agreed, because we needed to be an event. So this next room, the AC was broken, which they must have known because there was a window unit in the room. The temp of the room was 80 degrees. So we had to go back again for another room. The 3rd room was a charm though...clean and AC worked! We ended up being late to our event because of all the room changes...but we enjoyed the stay afterwards!

Property was really a Mansion and beautiful but what I didn’t like was when there was an event being held at the hotel, parking was scarce for the residents staying there .
