New Construction with private fenced yard. *Those travelling with pets... When you book with us, VRBO has made the option to add pets to your stay not very obvious. Please double check they are added to your stay so that our small one time pet fee doesn't have to be added to your booking after the fact. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our property is a quiet rural area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still within 15-20 minutes of city life and shopping. Your private unit is located in our brand new pole barn on our historic farm. It is a lower level unit that sleeps 4 and has 1 bedroom,1 full bath and a sleeper sofa. you will have a private fenced yard (perfect for those with furry friends) with fire pit and a large area for fun with your family. Covered porch with a relaxing porch swing, dining area and BBQ Grill. Large open fields with wonderful breezes and local wildlife. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets make a perfectly peaceful stay, close to all the conveniences of the city within about 15-20 minutes. Our place has all the modern conveniences in a rural location, such as high speed internet and smart TV. **In the photos you may notice an upper deck and entrance, this is empty space right now. Eventually we will be building on to add on to this stay, by adding another bedroom, bath and entertainment area. We haven't done this yet, but know that you have no one else staying in your area. It's a completely private stay.

Visit to Indianapolis family for the holiday. Accommodations exceeded our expectation, very clean and comfortable. The host/hostess were easy to communicate with. Check in/out process easy. We plan to return on our next visit.

The house was so cute, so clean, very well decorated. We didn’t have any issues at all. We loved the view and seeing the animals in the backyard. We planned our trip around going to the Indianapolis children’s museum but didn’t want to stay in the city, this place was less than 30 minutes from the museum and worked out perfectly.

This place by far is the greatest VRBO rental ever ... everything is perfect ... from the moment one arrives the place is home and feels like being home...Chris and Vicki have thought of everything ... traveling over Thanksgiving and finding a blessing at the MEADOWLAND FARM made our holiday extra special ... can't wait to return in the coming year !!

We loved this property! It was a perfect little getaway for 2 people. We loved being welcomed by the barn kitties and the other animals! Chris was so kind to make time for us to meet the animals on the farm. We were able to feed, pet, and meet all of the friendly animals! We loved it. Sam the Llama didn't want to come close but that is okay! We hope to stay here again next year!

What a calm, peaceful location! The hosts were kind, considerate, and attentive to any communication. The place is beautiful and has every feature you can imagine to make your stay comfortable. Having a fenced-in yard was a massive plus for my dog who joined me! Fans in every room allowed me to enjoy the gorgeous early fall weather, and the patio was a peaceful spot to keep up with my work. The guidebook is a great asset and makes utilizing the space, and amenities easy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our stay was amazing! We loved the location, unit, animals and hosts. It was beyond peaceful and the animals were icing on the cake. We tried to steal, err borrow a few barn kitties during our stay.

My bridesmaids and I stayed here the night before my wedding and it was PERFECT! I had a small group and we were able to see all the animals in the morning which is a big thing for me because I love farm animals. Great experience.

The property was even more beautiful than the photos! Very clean and nicely decorated. My 5 year old daughter was overjoyed with the many animals we encountered. She fed the sheep, snuggled the cats and said hi to the llama, pigs, chickens and dogs! We loved the fresh eggs for breakfast, and our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating providing us with s'mores supplies and contacting me immediately when they found a bag of clothes I had left behind. We wish we would've been able to enjoy outside more, but it was viciously hot during our stay. Directions/recommendations for everything was provided, and the technology was easy to navigate so we really didn't need to ask our hosts anything during our stay. We would definitely recommend this lovely place!

This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at! Honestly, it was absolute perfection all the way around. The amenities were top notch, nothing was overlooked here...we got to hang out with the animals, it was so peaceful, and Chris was a phenomenal host, he went above and beyond for us. The fire pit had everything we needed, everything was easily accessible, and it's motorcycle friendly if you're on two wheels. There is not one negative thing to say about this property, we'll definitely be back!

The property was more then we could have asked for. The property owner thought of everything from fresh eggs to coffee pods. Very responsive and even let my son feed the animals while we were there. We loved waking up and going to bed in a nice relaxing environment because we were there for a very stressful tornament and it allowed us to reset and get ready for the day. I will forever stay here anytime i am in Indy for anything.

Our visit to Chris and Vicky’s farmstead was more than a stay - it was an experience! From a seamless check-in, thorough communication with the hosts and a spotlessly clean home upon arrival, we were just thrilled to have such a great place to escape to with our pup. But it was so much more than that! All of the thoughtful touches that Chris and Vicky have added really made our two days here just perfect. We found something unique and special at every turn to enhance our stay, like farm fresh eggs, doggy bowls and treats and a fire pit ready to go so us city folks didn’t have to struggle to get it set up! And not to mention the experience of being on a working farm! We loved watching the animals and Chris and Vicky were so gracious with their time, explaining the how’s and why’s of what animals they have there (like Sam the llama)! We stayed on the property the entirety of the time we were there and used the kitchen and grill for meals, which was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed. I have already recommended Chris and Vicky’s place to friends and family and also hope to return again soon!

This property was so much more than expected. It was in the exact location we wanted, had modern amenities in a rural setting and it allowed our furry family members to join us. Everyone loved the farm animals especially Sam the llama and the cats. This host thought of absolutely every detail! We are 100% staying here the next time we come to see family! This property is beautiful and serene. Just minutes away from the Indiana skin care center in Greenwood. We had to come up for a surgery. This property made the stress of the situation melt away. Chris was so personable and kind. Sharing stories about the animals and his family’s history on the farm. Definitely plan on booking it again in the future.Loved the hummingbird feeder and second bird feeder just outside the door. The porch swing Chris made is perfect for enjoying the site’s and sounds of the farm. Be sure to say hi to Sam, Tucker and Chloe for us.

Our family travels a lot & stays in many VRBO’s. This has been our best experience. The little touches make this place stand out like non other. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The hummingbirds just out the front door, and friendly farm animals were a delight. So peaceful and calm there.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Meadowvale Farm! Such a beautiful serene location. The unit is placed on the back side of a brand new barn. You have a sweet patio with porch swing and huge fire pit ready to go. Sit and watch the sheep, lama, deer and hummingbirds. The decor was spot on modern farmhouse. The hosts thought of everything. In the country but so close to everything. Highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately I was only in the area for one night, but found this listing and immediately liked what I saw. I can say for it fact it was a great choice! Close enough for anything in the Indianapolis area, but far away from the traffic and away from everything enough for some peace and quiet! I would not hesitate to book here again! If you are looking for a weekend get away or a long stay like we just completed, this is the place to be. Very clean and the owners are topnotch. They made us feel like we were part of their family.
Every effort is made to make your stay enjoyable. I have traveled for 40+ years and I wouldn't trade this place for any of the high end motels and hotels I have stayed in. No, you don't have a pool, a high end restaurant, maid service, or an attached golf course. But, what you do have is an enjoyable stay in the country where you learn what we all take for granted, peace and quiet, great hosts concerned about your stay, and an understanding of what it is like to be on a farm. Don't miss this opportunity.

I can’t say enough good things about this rental! It is very new and everything was spotless! It is decorated so nice with a modern farmhouse style. Not overly large, but was perfect for my family who needed a place to stay the night to get a break from our long vacation drive. It wasn’t far off from the interstate so the location was ideal. I would have loved to stay longer but we had to get back on the road. I highly recommend this rental!

My wife and I travel and use BnBs often because we travel with 2 larger dogs. We came to the area to visit with family that live outside of the city. From the initial booking to check out, everything was amazing.
Chris sent us a PDF beforehand that laid out everything about the unit, their property, and recommendations for the area. They even included pages from user manuals for the devices and appliances that are in the unit Incase you have questions for how to use them. A hard copy of this pdf is also provided on the counter when you arrive.
The attention to detail and quality of everything in the unit is great. We had the feeling like we were staying at a nice hotel.
It’s about 15-20 mins away from everything so it’s not a far drive but you really get to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay being just outside of the city.
Chris also went above and beyond staying in contact with us. Being late January, we had a warm day that melted all if the snow while we were there and made everything a little muddy. Because he knew we had two larger dogs with us, Chris came over offering a better towel to clean off our dogs paws with. I was already going to message and ask for one because the shower towels were white but he beat me to it. It was just another way to prove they put effort to try and think of everything to make your stay great.
We have family that live in the area and this will be our first choice whenever we come to visit.
