I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Saray, and it was truly a delightful experience. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, offering breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada and Granada. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, and the rooms were beautifully appointed.
While the overall experience was exceptional, the only drawback was the poor state of the hallways. However, this issue did not overshadow the wonderful time I had at Hotel Saray. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable stay in a picturesque setting.

The hotel is in a great location in terms of proximity to the city centre (a short walk, over the river away) and in terms of driving to it. Just around the corner from Palacios Congresses it’s ideal for anyone attending events there and for local buses which all stop at or nearby. It is comfortable and has its own parking (underneath). The staff are friendly and helpful too.
It’s a little expensive but worth it for a treat.

Quiet location. Very much enjoyed the pool, towel supply, comfy loungers. Effective and quiet air conditioning. Friendly staff. Very comfy beds and pillows. Short walk to the centre of fabulous tapas bars, restaurants, shopping and the amazing sites of the Alhambra, cathedral, Sacramente cave houses and so much more.
No kettle in room or tea/coffee facilities. Key cards had a habit of deprogramming and no, they were not near my mobile phone. That the pool closed for the season on our last evening even though the weather was still hot.

Decoration of the room.
Very very bad parking. Very very small. You can't park without help other or come out from your park place and from parking itself. We never met such a small parking place.
Breakfast buffet not had enough choice.

The staff were okay but nothing else was good to be honest.
We reach there and I get the first shock that there's no bellboy available at the hotel (4 star hotel), so we carried all our luggage and brought it up while I had my wife and baby with me and 3 big bags with the baby stroller and many other things.
Then, we had to park the car downstairs which was tiny! The elevators were separate from the hotel room elevators so you had to shift everytime. Another inconvenience.
Then, we go for breakfast next day and it's like a bombshelter underground, not a single sunlight coming in. Food was a 7/10, nothing special or extra honestly.
Around 4pm, we go down to the pool, and the water was nasty!!!! We literally didn't swim. We used the outdoor showers to wet our body a bit and cool down from the summer heat and that was it.
Then the room, it was comfortable but nothing like the photo. Everything was old. Baby bed was a hazard as it had an actual adult bed by the way added in the corner, facing our bed to the left side and the hazard was some wood pieces inserted to the wall right above the head of the bed which could hit our baby's head if he slept there so he ended up sleeping in our bed and wetting our bed.
We ask reception around 4pm to send someone to change the sheets as they're wet, and we were surprised to return and see that nothing has changed. Horrible.
Last but not least! The room was full of ants!!!! All our food, clothes, baby toys, literally everything had ants on it by the time we left. We complained and showed the receptionist a bag full of ants from the room right before we left.
Never again! Don't stay here.

Big clean rooms, efficient check in and check out, nice pool area, 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants downtown
Pool beds were not monitored/towels were left laying when people were gone so some beds were not available after people had left. Paper cups at pool bar. Hallway was older decor but clean and practical

The building itself had nice facilities, we all enjoyed the pool. The theme of the hotel echoed the city and the history of Granada, with Moorish inspired decorations. The location of the hotel really worked well for us too, it was an easy drive off of the highway and as it is just on the edge of the city centre, easy to park in the neighbouring streets for free. The centre and all the sights are just a short walk away, but also there's a taxi rank very close if you plan to visit the Alhambra, and don't fancy the walk.
Personally noting, I know the hotel may have not been the most modern, as it's style seems like it was built in maybe the 70s/80s, but I really liked that feature, there is a real charm to the place.

I liked the location, it was not too far from the city center by foot. The hotel was a little bit old but it was fine.
I wish it was a little bit cleaner.
The pool was closed in May.

The decor and the staff.
It was a shame the pool wasn’t open.
