The property is nicely furnished. Rooms are kept clean. All rooms are air conditioned. There is a large dining area and a really nice patio garden area. The hotel is a great location. It’s 10 minutes walking distance from Damascus Gate into the Old City. Also 10 mins to the Garden Tomb. The Hotel is 2 mins from St George’s Cathedral - they do a very nice Eucharist at 7AM. The hotel staff are very friendly and they made my stay exceptional. I make regular trips to Jerusalem and will be staying with this hotel again.

I’m traveling often to the old city for work. It is difficult to find a better quality/price ratio in that area of Jerusalem

We arrived at the hotel and they advised that our room wasn't available due to a 'plumbing issue'. They had arranged a transfer us by taxi to another hotel which was very nice. The Christmas hotel looked very pleasant but we were unable to stay there.

Nice location
Don’t have doble bed☹️

Info: We booked for the first two days a tripple room and then for the rest of our stay 2 double rooms, so we had 2 reservations for this hotel and 3 rooms in total.
The hotel is lead by Armenian hosts with Palestinian personel. All of them were very friendly and helpful with informations and things you need.
The rooms were nice, old style nostalgic equipped (I like that) and the bed (except of the sofa in the tripple room) quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean and big and every day the cleaning lady cleaned the rooms.
Breakfast is from 7am - 9am and it is a rich buffet of different tasty things. I loved the toaster bred conveyor very much. ;-)
It was possible to print out boarding passes for flights on the reception.
Information for other tourists: The hotel is located in the Westbank close to the "western Israel", if you look on google maps (marked line). There is no border or something. The wall to the main Westbank with checkpoints and so on is located a few km away in the east. The "border" between the east/Westbank and west is located at the tram line L1, if you stand on the tram station you are "in between" those two lands. If you do not know that there is the border you will not even mention it. I never felt unsafe or something there or in this area, the location is quite good. If you drive with the tram line L1 exit at the station Shivtei Israel, from there it is only 200-300m to the hotel. The hotel is located in a area where many hotels are. From the hotel to the old city/Damascus Gate of Jerusalem/al-Quds it is a 5-10min walk.
I really recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
We had 3 rooms in total during our stay there and the first room was located close to a noisy street. It was noisy, but it was ok to sleep with closed windows there.
In our 2nd and 3rd rooms (both double rooms, they were quite) the shower tap could fall off easily if you pull it to strong. That needs to be fixed.
The breakfast was great and you have the full buffet at 7am. If you appear later at around 8pm you will see on some plates leftovers or empty plates (like for cheese) or not refilled juices in the pots. If you ask the waiters for the missing things, they will bring you new food directly to your table (like a glas of juice or cheese). It seems like the tours start quite early and breakfast quite early too and afterwards the motivation to bring new food or refilling of pots decreases a little bit.

nice, big room cleaned each day.
Breakfasts were not good. It was enough to come 30 minut after opening breakfast room and everything that should be warm was there cold. Additionally noone added things when have finished. Dinner -not worth such high price. I do not recommend eating there.

It was with great pleasure, that I stayed for three days in the Christmas Hotel. The hotel could be best characterized as: hospitality, extremely friendly staff, a nice and clean room, and delicious food, both breakfast and dinner. In the evenings I enjoyed relaxing in a beautiful garden. The hotel is situated within close walking distance of the Old City. Although google / booking.com indicates that the hotel is closed, it is not! It is open! I hope to come back here and definitely recommend this hotel!

location is good

Restaurant that served dinner, price, distance from old city. Cheap and easy parking across the street, air conditioner worked well.
Staff were rude except restaurant people. Mostly caters to your groups and single travelers get what is left

Buffet breakfast was ample, including sausage and scrambled egg served hot. The location is a ten minute walk from the Damascus gate or a three minute walk to the tram stop. There is a car park across the road from the hotel. Staff were pleasant and the hotel had an old-fashioned charm about it.
On arrival I was told that the credit card machine was not working and that I should try again the following morning. This I did, same result. On the fourth and last evening of my stay I was asked to pay in cash, very inconvenient. I was offered a small reduction in return for the inconveience.

When I asked a waiter to pour a glass of wine, he kindly brought me a filled glass of wine, but he immediately demanded $ 7. I replied indignantly: "Two weeks ago, I stayed at your hotel and I got a glass of wine in the price of the hotel, and now you demand pay for it! "
He asked me: "What should I do with this wine now?" I indignantly answered again: "I don’t know ... and why didn’t you announce the price before filling a glass of wine?" This man left without taking glass of wine from the table.
After I called him again and asked to make a cappuccino, he kindly made it, but the taste of it was so terrible that it was impossible to drink it. The milk was overheated. All cappuccino value has been lost.
All positive impressions about the hotel were ruined after this conversation with the waiter.

Food is very good. Room size good.
House keeping not upto the mark. Water bottle and toilet amenities not replenished. Bed sheets not tightened daily. Reception staff response average. They can't call metered taxis. Toilet cramped due to bath tub and glass door not sliding type. Buffet breakfast is not replenished.
