Damir’s apartment in the old town was absolutely fantastic. Super close to restaurants / bars / cafes and the Pile Gate. The apartment is on the 4th floor so it also has a magical view of the city rooftops and the wall. We loved it and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you, Damir!

This home was at the top of the world. It was clean, fully furnished with everything you need to cook, bath, wash clothes et cetera. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the a/c was awesome. The host was amazing provided all the information needed and was very thorough & funny. We loved our stay in Dubrovnik and hated to leave. Many nights (and days) we stared out our window at the people walking the city walls, the Fort and the ocean. The sunsets were amazing the food was exceptional and the people were very kind.

The old town apartment was perfect as a base for us to explore Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast. It has wonderful views of the wall, old town and the fortress. Being right in Old Town allows you to explore the city just two minutes from all the sights. The apartment itself is cosy, full of character and well maintained. It's perfect as somewhere to stay with everything you need - better than an hotel room, so quiet and ideal for a couple. Damir was very welcoming and helpful with advice and tips.

It had everything we needed for our break in Dubrovnik and was clean and comfortable with fantastic views. Wonderful location and proximity to everything you would need on a city break. Damir is a brilliant host - he met us and took us to the apartment and showed us useful landmarks on the way - a friendly, interesting host who even carried our bags up the (many) steps. We would recommend this apartment to a couple who enjoy the authentic experience of Dubrovnik Old Town. We had the holiday of a lifetime and can't wait to go back.

The apartment is ideal for visiting Dubrovnik. Approximately ten minutes walk from pile gate. As with much of the old town there’s lots of steps to get to it. The views from the window are very nice, looking at the city wall and towards fort lovrijenac and the northern end of the old town. There is everything you need in the apartment, very good air-con/heating, Small safe, and a good shower. Nice quiet corner of the old town. We would recommend this apartment to our friends.

Damir is a great host. He cared about us and answered all our questions very quickly.
My daughter and I had a fantastic time in Dubrovnik. We felt very welcomed and the apartment was clean and cozy.
Once, we met Damir and his two sweet children. We really like Damir and wish him all the best.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very cosy appartement. Very clean, well decorated, everything worked great, super nice bathroom and functional kitchen. The air conditioning was a definite plus since the weather was quite hot while we were there. Everything you want to see within the walls is no more than 5 minutes walk. Away from the main streets so you can enjoy quiet nights with the windows open if you choose. Great view of city and wall from both windows. Damir was a great host. He gave us a mini tour on the way to the apartment and provided us with great info and recommendations. He was even carried one of our bags up the many stairs in the city. We highly recommend this apartment.

Greeted promptly by Damir upon our arrival in Dubrovnik Old Town. Damir took us to his apartment and kindly explained some of the do’s and dont’s to assist us during our stay.
The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. It has a fabulous location with wonderful views of the Fort, wall, old town and sea.
Dubrovnik’s numerous steps are well documented however they can be taken in your stride with plenty of stop offs for refreshments.
We would highly recommend a stay at this apartment if you are thinking of visiting Dubrovnik.
Thanks again Damir.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Damir's property (June/July). The location is perfect; 2 minutes from the buzz of the town centre, but very quiet too. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed comfortable. There is very efficient air-con, Sky TV and WiFi and amazing views. We had been a little worried about getting our luggage (for a two week stay) up the well-documented steps, but Damir, having met us as arranged, showed us the best route and carried my suitcase! Thank you for that, Damir. He then spent around 40 minutes explaining the property and answering all our questions regarding places to visit, best deals, bus routes etc., which was invaluable.
There are many steps, but we never found them a challenge.
Some observations: if you are staying long enough for lazy beach days, the nearest beach (Banje) is very crowded with loud music. We walked to San Jacov beach (a pleasant 40 minute stroll) which was far less crowded and with a very good, reasonably priced restaurant. There are 150 steps down to this beach but there is a taxi boat back to town if you don't fancy the climb back up.
There are lots of boat trip deals on offer, but we found it cheaper to visit the islands independently. We particularly enjoyed Lopud. The number 8 bus takes you to the port where you can get a ferry to Lopud. Food and drink is cheaper there.
If you are reading this in 2019, we would recommend the Shakespeare production in the fort. We thoroughly enjoyed Midsummer Nights Dream.
Regarding restaurants, we'd recommend Aquarius. I am a coeliac and they had a very good knowledge of the gluten free diet. The food and atmosphere were great and we were sorry that we didn't go there earlier in our stay! Also good for gluten free is Domino, where they served good gluten free bread, and Moby Dick (up the steps from the main street). We found four small supermarkets around town, all with a small amount of Schar GF.
Avoid the bar/restaurant nearest the cathedral; their prices are ridiculous!
Regarding cruise ships, they do make a difference in town crowd-wise, but we downloaded a list of Cruise Ship Arrivals on 'Croatia Traveller' and went out of town on busy days. Cruisers tend to go back to the ship in the late afternoon.
We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Dubrovnik. We were there a while, but we found something to enjoy and new places every day.
Thank you so much Damir.

The apartment is perfect - lovely view of city walls, steps from the main sights, but tucked in a corner away from any noise. Host was so friendly and met us to walk us to the apartment, showing us ways to walk with fewer steps while we had our baggage! He even took the time to look up the bus schedule we needed for a day trip and was available if we needed anything at all. Apartment very clean and had all the essentials, nicely upgraded bathroom. It was the perfect apartment for our 3 night stay and we couldn’t have loved it more! Thank you!!

I felt the apartment was exactly as described. Pack light as there is a lot of stairs and no fun to lug around bags all day. Damir is a great host and very helpful. Air conditioning works AMAZING! Very enjoyable stay. Thank you!
