Breakfast offering and service was not in line with other hotels of similar class that I have stayed at recently. Sometimes waiting staff were efficient and brought beverages quickly, but at other times the request was either forgotten or took too long. The hot breakfast choices were sub-par; there seemed to be a chef working in the kitchen, but apart from scrambled eggs to order, all other 'hot' items had been cooked a long time before, and left in unheated trays on a cold surface. Not very appealing. It didn't upset us, or ruin our stay, but for such a good hotel it was a surprisingly lacklustre service.

Conveniently located for navigating the city but getting to the hotel was a challenge.

Our room overlooked a small piazza where the neighborhood bottle recycling bins were located so there were crashing bottles and slamming of the metal lids.

This is definitely the place to stay when coming to Bologna. It is RIGHT in the middle of everything! Staff is so friendly and the hotel is a beautiful gem!

This small hotel is incredibly tastefully appointed, a quiet haven in the midst of the bustling old town center. Nice restaurant and bar. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and really went out of their way to make reservations for us, book transport, etc.

The hotel is amazing location and beautifully maintained.

I wish that booking.com would make it easier to request twin rooms. There were no twin rooms available on booking.com, however the King size bed that I booked clearly could have been split into a twin - would be helpful if you could just be given a choice for convertible beds so you can have your preference.

Very elegant & comfortable hotel, in an excellent position, as within walking distance of most of the sites of interest.

The bedroom was a little small for the cost & although the breakfast was more than adequate, there was no variation in the buffet during our stay. The orange juice provided was of a very basic quality.
