The staff was friendly enough and the location was beautiful. Lots of potential.
The carpets smelled musty and old and the lighting in the stairwell was terrible. Could use some paint and new flooring.

Had no breakfast but the location was very scenic.
Only stay few hours after disembarking the ferry so didn't get a feel for the town.

There is no elevator and we are seniors who need that service. The hotel is not clean and it is not a place I Will go back to

The room was very big and the beds were half decent. The lady at the front desk waited up for a bunch of us arrivibg froma very late ferry at 1:30 am.
Place was old and felt like I was walking into a low budget horror film.

The room was large and comfortable with wonderful views. Close to the downtown area. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
The hotel has obviously seen better days. The entrance and staircase (no elevator) are in need of refurbishment. The restaurant hasn't been open 'for years'. The outside garden is unkempt. Such a shame as with some Tlc this could be a great hotel.

Being a older hotel, room are in the spacious end. Vew from the balcony is exceptional and distance to the seawalk is great for after dinner stroll.
Good hotel, a bit dated and lacking an elevator.

Nothing
I was bill twice for the room. Once via Booking.com and once via my oder credit card that I used at the hotel. I called the hotel but nobody returned my call to clear this matter. This is the worst hotel I have ever slept in.

The exterior, lobby and stairs were in very bad shape; run down, and didn't seem clean. The room itself was okay and seemed clean.

Walking distance to town center
Dingy interior with old stained carpets.

Great location close to the waterfront, and the reception staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs.
Overall condition of the hotel. It's ageing, and could definitely benefit form a cosmetic renovation.

The view. staff was friendly and were willing to let us change rooms.

On the beach
It was not inviting at all. Sign on front broken. On beach side. It was empty.
4.0
Not much, other than the staff being rather friendly and accommodating to us asking for extra towels and pillows.
The toilet wouldn't flush, bed rock hard and they only give you 2 flat ass pillows, we found A PUBE ON THE TOILET SEAT WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED. When you ran the water, all you could smell is sewer

A good location - right downtown
This is not the hotel for those with mobiliity challenges. No elevator, handrailings on only one side of the stair case. The carpet in the hallway looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in several days. Check in staff wore both a mask and was behind a glass partition making communication a challenge. Moulding around the sink in the bathroom is beginning to deteriorate.

The front desk gal was very nice, helpful and pleasant. Nice view of the harbour.
Facility is very dated with no visible maintenance or upkeep. The hallways and rooms have a very stale scent to them.
Although clean the beds were old, and the pillows were flat and very very used.
