Poor - we did not sleep at all well

Location ok and room was clean. Staff were helpful.

There was a fridge next to the bed that woke us up. The bed bases it mattresses creaked loudly when getting into and out of the bed, and whenchanging sleeping position in the bed

Definitely over priced.

The beds were comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room had such a strong perfume or scent not sure what it was but it was nauseating. We kept door and windows open to try and rid it but it was deeply embedded. The sound on the tv was so low we could barely hear. We arrived late and by the time we got the volume sorted it was very late. There is no where to hang a towel and the fridge was not working, we had things we wanted to keep overnight.

It was a good stay except for the fridge making noises through the night

The place is in a nice location and have the basic things you need like microwave, fridge

There’s a strong smell when we entered the unit but eventually gone after opening the windows. The fridge is old so it’s creating some noise all throughout our stay. The washroom is small too.

Location and Price

Having a baby playpen is a must when hosting families. This property didn't have any. The bed was just double-sized, too small for a family of three.

I rarely leave reviews but my stay here was very pleasant.

Feels homey. Quiet. Friendly staff. Beds are super comfy. Deep tub, very clean. I’ll be back.

Don’t let the drapes and comforter fool you. Old motel but very well kept. TV could be bigger but I don’t use it.

It was good , I only spent night there.

No carpet, I like the clean and cleanable floors. Internet connection was really good.

The heat did not work, it was 4 celsius one night and then 0 the next, there is some attendant there at all times so he was kind enough to bring a space heater for me. still sick because of cold night, the bed side lamp needed some shaking and turning before it worked, it was not a big deal to the staff, just loose, business as usual, no heat is also business as usual. there is this pollution making factory in Hinton that pollutes the air, that was at it its worse when I was there, you could smell it .

Check in was great, the guy at the desk was friendly and efficient

Super dated for the price. Air conditioner was making a horrible racket all night. The room smelt stale and bedding was appx 30 years old

Location was right on the main road, near many restaurants, gas stations, and a pub.

Very basic room. Set up for workers who are sent to the area, not for vacationers.

For the price paid (the most expensive night of our entire trip), it was disappointing.

Convenient location for an overnight stop on our travels home from Edmonton. Handy having Smitty's restaurant next-door. Check in was straightforward; the receptionist was polite and friendly. Room, bathroom and sheets were clean. Liked the wood floor, rather than old carpet that is often found in 'cheap' motels - at least we could see it was clean.

The room had a very strong odour of cleaners or disinfectants (bug killer, perhaps... read on) - we kept the window and door open for an hour to try and get rid of it. Noisy neighbours in the next room, and their heavy smoking so close to our door, kept us awake until about 1am. Paper-thin walls did not help. Towels were old and thin - it is long past time to replace them. Woke up to find a bed-bug on the pillow - ugh, we could not get out of there fast enough. Will not be staying there again.
