Not what you’d expect from a full service airport hotel.

The hotel lobby is very nice and the room was okay.

I chose this hotel bc we were coming in very late after a long flight and had to drive out early in the morning. I thought, as a full service, expensive, airport hotel that we would be able to get food when we arrived, but there was nothing available except snacks and a couple old prepackaged, very expensive sandwiches. The room was clean but smelled overwhelmingly of cherry air-freshener.

Wonderful Stay

Great property. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious room (everything worked!). Great location and shuttle availability. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and on site food offerings were better than average. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Convenient, Quiet and Clean

Very conveniently located a short courtesy shuttle trip from Newark Liberty International Airport. We arrived late in the afternoon and had a very early flight the next morning so that was of particular value to us. The property is clean and comfortable with good food options on site. Staff were professional and available when needed.

The digital room key on the BonVoy app worked just fine in the elevator but wouldn't open our room door, which required a trip back down to reception. The representative quickly issued two regular room keys and said that there had been problems with getting the digital keys to function properly, but they were working on the problem.

Navetta sempre disponibile da e per l'aeroporto. Buona la cucina del ristorante, ho ordinato in camera e il servizio è stato velocissimo.

Ho esteso il soggiorno per un'ulteriore notte e nonostante l'avessi chiesto la camera non è stata rifatta e questo non lo trovo accettabile in relazione al prezzo.

Convenient, clean and fair price. If you got to catch an early flight this is the best

Convenient location with a decent rate . Shuttle service is excellent

Staff not proactive / helpful. Trying to bring in 7 pieces of luggage and they just look and never even off a luggage cart.

Great location, rooms, free shuttle to airport. Expensive parking, mediocre breakfast.

Excellent location by the airport. Very clean, nice lobby, spacious, clean room and bathroom. Good internet. Very helpful reception staff. The availability of the free shuttle, which is running 24x7 every 15 minutes, is very convenient.

The only available outdoor parking lot for hotel guests costs $33/day (hourly $12) which is expensive for a non-valet setting. Mediocre and expensive breakfast and dinner options.

Disappointed. I was expecting more from a Marriot Hotel

The room reservation included breakfast, and it was a coupon for the breakfast bill. What a scam!

The room was too small for four people + the “breakfast included” advertisement when it was not true

Better to spend less money somewhere further away and pay for the uber, than stay here.

Couldn't get hold of the hotel when I was running late for check-in. It took over an hour to even find a way to get hold of the hotel (too many automated phone services making it hard to get hold of a real person), and then once got their number no one answered. The hotel is extremely expensive for an outdated room, with no comforts.

Poor front desk staff experience.

There was a noise all night long. Did not know what it was until the morning. I noticed that the noise came from the mini fridge. I told the issue to front desk, the person at front desk did not care the least bit about the issue. At $415 / night, I expect staff to at least listen and care.

No private, loud, parties in the reception area. Have to pay for Internet connection and with no Internet connection cannot read QR code which is necessary to read services. Only one out of 4 USB sockets in room work. Shower door needs adjustment in order to prevent splashing. No close by plug to coffee machine. Otherwise excellent, classical, great condition and clean room.

Every person we encountered from the front desk to restaurant employees and also the airport shuttle drivers were fantastic. I love this hotel. It's our 3rd stay, and when flying out of Newark there's no other choice but the Marriott Liberty International.

Worth it if you have an early flight

The location was good given the layover and the early flight the next day.

There is no pedestrian walkway to the hotel, you have to take a shuttle, which begs the question why stay here if I have to take a shuttle anyway? The room service ends rather early so if you are coming in late and leaving early food can be a problem. The bathroom is a bit tired looking. "Breakfast Included" means you get a credit towards breakfast, not that it's actually included.
