Will not stay there again

Location

The staff was rude, we interrupted their Uno card game, I asked for a roll-away bed the lady was rude. I asked if they could hold a key for my daughter she was traveling behind me - the guy said he would add her to the reservation - they wrote her name on a paper with the room key and when she arrived 2 hours later a different staff member wouldn’t let her in or have the key.. The room was wet feeling, bed, floor, carpet, someone has left the window open.. usually stay at the La Quinta every time we come to Starkville and now I know why.. it was horrible..

Very disappointed in the staff but for the most part everything else was ok

Location was perfect and rooms were nice and clean.

Staff overbooked us. We only stayed 3 nights and were charged for 9 nights. We called to try and resolve this issue and still have not been resolved. Also during our booking we paid the extra for the free breakfast included. And everyday we were there they claimed we didn’t pay for it so I have to go to the main desk and get our breakfast approved before we could eat. And they made us do this all 3 mornings. Like we booked each day separately. Which obviously we didn’t. Staff just seemed like they didn’t care about their guests to me. My opinion though.

We were very disappointed in the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights. There was no maid service or fresh towels the second day. That would not have normally been a problem. However, we were put in a handicapped room, which we did not ask for. It had a walk-in shower and the shower water went all over the bathroom tile which became hazardously slippery. So we used all the towels to dry the floor. Hence there were no clean towels. There was no hair dryer in the room. The swimming pool and whirl pool had some sort of scum in them. We did not venture in either one as they both looked very. Unsanitary.

Disappointing

The bed was the only plus. It was comfortable and clean.

The receptionist was absolutely horrible. During check in she was rude and eventhough I placed my ID and credit cards in her hand she returned them by sitting them on the counter NEXT to my outstretched hand. After activating the key cards slid them on the counter in our direction. She then stated without making eye contact, "The elevators are around there". Never told us a room number or gave any amenities offered. She was the worst part of our stay.

The rooms were dirty. Rusty bathtub. No clean towels. I was told house keeping would clean room Every 4 days because I only spent 3 nights. My trash sheets and towels were not replenishef. This was not explained to me until check out. I was told at check out I would be compensated With hilto.n rewards points. And a free nights stay certificate would be emailed to me. I have not received an email confirmation.

Wasn’t pleased with my stay!

I was given a handicap room without asking for it…had a very difficult time using the shower that’s designed for a person with a handicap. I don’t have a handicap! Food left in the fridge from the previous guest!!!

Had a good stay and the staff was nice.

I didn't have breakfast on this trip but have had it in the past and it was great.

There were noisy guest above me late into the night , Saturday. Since I was rested I decided to check out early. ( 1am ).

We may stay in another hotel next year. Past stay have been much better.

We stay here as well as 13 other families as well as grandparents.We use to enjoy the pool and the friendly staff.

…But this past stay the pool was out, rumors was bc of baseball boys. But we had not arrived at the time it was drained. We asked for additional blanket from desk clerks and was told she couldn’t bc they didn’t have access to the blanket closet, however before going to bed another clerk was able to help. when in the lobby to meet before tournaments, a certain desk clerk seem like it was inconvenient.

Bed was comfortable. Hotel didn’t leave a good feeling. I was overcharged based online price.

This hotel does not measure up to Hilton brand. Needs to be updated. I felt that I was overcharged based on hotel rates I saw online.
